The hotel has been renovated and is beautiful. It still feels cold when you walk in because there is not a lot of traffic and there is no room service.

I do not appreciate the resort fee that I was charged for the pool and beach when I was there on business and did not use any of the amenities. I also did not see this additional fee on the hotels.com website .. I won’t use hotel.com if there will be these hidden fees ..

I stayed at the Tideline when it was a Kimpton. I booked when it was a Marriott. I understand the hotel has gone through a major renovation, but there's still a lot to be done. The email address listed on the website was wrong. The phone in-room was broken and the main line (which I had to call from my cell phone) was disconnected. There was a broken button in the elevator. The gym was unairconditioned. My first room had a broken patio door. And my second room had a guest smoking on the balcony next to mine, which made my balcony unusable. The staff was eager and kind -- that's the bright spot! There were virtually no guests in the hotel. I think the Tideline should close down for a bit longer and make some necessary improvements.

It was really great. Beautiful place. Only comment is the air conditioning in my room was not able to be adjusted even when I turned it OFF. I was so cold. That is only complaint.

It’s not a true resort hotel. The staff was kind but they seemed to be short staffed. The shower didn’t have hot water and there was some mold on the walls. No water bottles in the room but bottles of alcohol. They seemed to be open and operating before being truly prepared. It was not worth $600 a night!

My husband and I stayed at Tideline as part of our anniversary trip. It had great food and drinks. However, they only serve dinner on the weekends. It was definitely not as glamorous as it appeared online. I feel like we overpaid for the quality we got. Our room did not feel clean and they did not service our room till around 4 everyday when we were trying to get ready for dinner. The service was lacking because there was not enough staff there. They were doing renovations and I don’t know if that had anything to do with it. There was a lot of unfinished/unused space that looked like it was once an awesome place to stay. Maybe once the renovations are completed, it will be different. Overall, it was okay but just did not match expectations.

the restaurant and bar was understaffed. nice friendly hard working waiters , but not enough to keep up with volume.waited a long time to get seated for breakfast and finally gave up after being ignored for almost 15 minutes

Not-so-good. This Hotel needs some investment. A fresh renovation. Better management. Check-in is at 4pm & the spa closes at 5pm. Restaurant is in terrible conditions, we have to go eat somewhere else. Management is inexistent, there’s no hospitality. We couldn’t wait for the next day to go stay on a Marriott or any hotel with a fresh feeling of cleanliness and new furniture. We ended up just going back home after a disappointed trip. Lesson learned, never going cheap again when it comes to a stay.

Extremely condescending staff, we were already tired due to our travels and they allocated room next to their patio (where it was expected to get loud). Next option offered was a room not facing to the ocean( which we paid for) and we were stuck since our booking was non-refundable. Everything in the room as old and they seemed not to bother about changing anything. No hot water in the shower as well. When I shared all this with the staff, they didn’t even bother to do anything about it! Overall terrible experience!

Vanity mirror didn’t work, shower spray bar didn’t work, safe didn’t work, no lock on the balcony door, phone didn’t work, and the overall condition of the hotel room was just old & desperately needs a renovation!

We were not able to check in until 5 PM. After we checked we walked into our room and it was filled with cockroaches. 5 nights and we counted 49 cockroaches. Room 324.

Nice grounds, spiders and bugs in shower area. Water puddled in shower which I thought it was gross, pad pitch to drain. Chairs were all spots on the cloth, and overall I’ll rate it a 5 out of ten.

Not up to Marriott standards. Physical property needs many improvements. Guest rooms are very humid. Enjoyed service on terrace and beachside.

Our three-day stay was all-around outstanding. We had a lovely, clean room with a charming balcony that gave a partial view of the ocean. Eating breakfast and dinner outside overlooking the ocean was enchanting. And it was so wonderful to be able to easily get a beach chair. The most surprising thing to us is that this charming hotel had any negative reviews. It easily the highlight of our trip and we would jump at the chance to stay here again. Outstanding

20% gratuity automatically charged to EVERY SERVICE. I was only told it would be added to spa service which was fine. There was no mention of this fee in any information with which I was presented on check-in.

all perfect. The hotel is cozy, clean and has good services. the only stain in all this is the restaurant service. the restaurant and the dishes offered do not live up to expectations and much less the price. it is not possible to pay for a breakfast 60$ a cappuccino an omelette is an orange juice. everything else is perfect. the hotel is not cheap but it is acceptable. but the restaurant has the prices of a two-star Michelin restaurant.

very disappointed. Very dark rooms, property nice but definitely is missing management to keep it clean and organized. Food not really good . It has potentials but needs management to keep it running. Having Four Season right next door they should step up the game! We spend most of our time next door.

Omg place has gone down staff no where to be found !! Got food poison first night there is no room service and resturant outside staff are under whelmed no help!!! Asked to take meal off bill and had no help!! Left me on phone for 20 min and still has not called me back!!

The locaton is great, the food is pretty good and there is easy parking. However the floor is tile and gets sticky from the humidity. The Sliding door to the bathroom was stuck and wouldnt close, and the elevators are slow. There is also very little bathroom counter space and only two bathroom towels. For the price, it was underwhelming but ok

Great location but rooms are out of date, dark and had bugs. It also had no air conditioning. We were moved but the second room had water stains on ceiling and was not much cleaner. For the price, it was not worth the money.

Everything was great! Rooms can use an update as they are a bit dark and the floors need to be cleaned better. My feet were black when I walked barefoot in the room. Used my flip flops afterwards. Other than that everything was really nice!
