I checked in on April 19th at about 7:30pm. The room appeared to be presentable but when I came back after dinner with family, I realized the toilet was not level and it rocked, the faucet for the sink was ready to fall off, the chair at the table I almost fell over on it because the back was breaking off, the tv did not work, the phone in the room did not work and when I called the 866 number it said there was so service available at that time. When cars would pull in and out from in front of the room, their lights would shine on the ceiling and a truck sat out in front of the room with its lights on for more than 20 minutes so those lights were on the ceiling that whole time. When my friend came back I said we were checking out so I went to the front desk at about 11:30pm and told them I was checking out and I wanted a copy of my bill and she said I could not get one until after 11:00am on the next day. Considering I only used the bathroom and the sink to wash my hands, I expect to be refunded most of what I paid for the room. If you could please fix all of these things, I would not have a problem with coming back to stay at Motel 6 {as long as you leave the light on}.

Very poor cleanliness. Sheets had stains and cigarette burns on them. Mildew in the showers. No complimtary soap and no towels.

When I checked in for 9 days I had mentioned to the manager that the fridge wasn't working,he told me he would take care of it, today is the 6 th day and still no fridge and would not switch rooms, was told that there was a fridge in storage but it was to far back in the storage to get to,as well as asking me if I had food, I stated I would if I had a working fridge. ,I asked for a refund and was denied any refund so as of right now I'm using the trash can to get enough ice to keep what little I can keep cold, and spending way to much on take out due to this sorry motel

WILL NOT STAY HERE AGAIN: In order of discovery: (1) They want a $50 -- cash only -- deposit at check-in. That's in the hotel description on the expedia page but has now become a litmus test for me. (2) Rear-ended car in the parking lot. Nobody was dealing with it that night or by 10:30 the next morning. (3) My room's door let in so much light and road noise that I went out and bought some weatherstripping and put it on. (4) Lots of road noise from a main road in front and trains in back. I can't blame management for that, but it's a problem that other hotels don't have. (5) TV remote was missing the cover for the batteries. I might have accepted this by itself but with everything else it's not a one-off. (6) Air coming out of the heater was more of a cool breeze than a warm one. I had to replace my T-shirt with a long-sleeved shirt to get to sleep. (7) The headboard of my bed was either not connected or badly connected to the bed. Just getting into bed slammed that headboard into the wall so hard that I thought the drywall would give way. (8) NOW WE GET TO THE ZERO-STAR STUFF: Two roaches in the bathroom. Not a panic (to me) by itself until I saw... (9) Bathroom door was coming apart at the seams all the way up to the doorknob, on both sides. This likely goes hand-in-hand with the roaches. I think they were eating the door. (10) Hot water at the sink but not in the shower. I tried every position and let it run. IT'S IMPOSSIBLE THAT THEY DO NOT KNOW THIS! (out of space!)

My worst stay ever! Towels were full of stains and holes, sheets were stained, pillowed were flat as can be and also stained, floor looked like it hasn’t been mopped in years, blood on the wall, the wifi was horrible, and the worst part was the people above me banged around ALL NIGHT LONG!!!! Even after calling the front desk!

The motel lookeð like it was deserted uears ago. Bullet proof glass and a speaker on the office window. A piz,a delivery came with 2 drivers, i assume for their protection

Look, I’m married, play a lot of racquetball tourneys so I don’t mind staying in cheap hotels when I’m by myself. I just need a place to stay.
This place was DISGUSTING. The floor looked like it hadn’t been mopped in weeks. No shampoo, the bar lock on the door was missing, it was loud.
I won’t even consider this place next time I’m in Columbus.

Disgusting. Clerk was behind glass, which is already a bad sign. Business card for a police detective was sitting on the counter, which made me wonder what crime was committed there. Room smelled like cigarettes. Air conditioning did not work. Comforter had cigarette burns. Stains on sheets. Saw small cockaroach in bathroom. Left after about an hour in the room and went to another hotel.

Checking in was easy. The TV wouldn’t connect to any channels, and the internet was so weak that the TV Wouldn't even connect. It looked like they took a dirty rag and wiped the table, and side table.

I would never stay at this place again. Its right up on the train tracks and they run all night long. The rooms are disgusting. Our towels had stains on them. The bed was gross. Had a hole in our bathroom door. The door handle to the bathroom kept falling off. The rooms smelled gross. I checked under the sheets on the bed and there was so much filth under it. The pillows had stains. The comforter had burn marks in it. I didnt even shower in the room since it was so disgusting. Hair all on the bathroom floor. Just a very dirty place and i would never advise anyone to ever stay here. Keep away from this nasty place!

The place is not in the safest of places. Cops showed up for an arrested, maybe a drug arrest possible domestic violence as i was pulling up to my assigned room. My brother and i did even stay. We left immediately to find a new hotel.

They told us there were kids with guns in there the night before so we canceled them they tried to Make a deal with us and lowered the security deposit. After i said no they refuded to give us a refund, DO NOT GO THERE

I stayed here before with no issues. However this last visit was unsatisfactory especially the check out.
For starters the TV didn’t work, I didn’t complain because I just needed somewhere to sleep. Someone’s bra/underwear was left hanging on the bathroom door. The true reason for the dissatisfaction was this hotel applys a $50 deposit for damages (it’s near Ohio State so I understand the need) at checkout, the clerk went to check my room for damages before giving me back my deposit. The clerk came back from the room and stated that a hand towel was damaged due to a stain. Well I had just gotten dressed for the day so that stain was makeup. Aren’t towels there to wipe your hands on? Aren’t they meant to get dirty? The clerk charged me $7 for a dinky towel that I could replace at Target for $3! The only reason why I’m staying at hotels is because I am homeless at the moment so I’m using more than 60% of my income to stay there. I have to think long and hard if I ever stay again!

This had to be the most discusting stay at this motel ever.
Filthy,unsecured room.
Trash, dead bugs, floors were never mopped or cleaned.
There places where an ironing board and iron had once been.
No telephone in room
No coffee, or personal items that are normally supplied within the room..
Prostitutes, drugs, pot smoking, car stereos blasting.
Check their registry for July 6th & 7th and see how many guests stayed there, Not Many at all.
I was in town for a large car show at the Ohio State Fairgrounds and it draws a huge crowd of people and vehicles over 7,000 cars this year.
My car and myself was the ONLY car show people that stayed there, what's that tell you ?
As I previously told you, check the number of rooms that were actually rented for just those 2 days and you'll see for yourselves just how bad the primises are.
That's the only Motel 6 that the light needs to be turned off, so no one will want to stay there.
BTW ! I stayed in room 113, check that room out.
I forgot about the faucet on the sink basin, moves all over.

Staff was very nice but property definitely was not as nice as pictured. The cover underneath the bed had cigarette burns and multiple large stains. Of course for $60 some dollars a night I don’t expect a 5 star hotel but furniture was broken and not well cared for, and the room was definitely not cleaned to the extent that it should have been. I have stayed in much much nicer Motel 6’s and was disappointed in this one.

The bed sheets had cigarette burns in them and still had hair on them in many places, leading me to believe that it was unwashed. My pillow also had hair on it and there was no shampoo or conditioner provided in my unit. I had to ask the front desk for shampoo and conditioner

Could not reach Front Desk to change booking. Tried numerous times. Arrived late on second day of booking and did not have my reservation via Expedia, but they were able to accommodate us. I asked for room on backside but was not warned about busy train track about 50 ft outside door. Horrible mattress. Clean, newly renovated, minimal towels, great pillows, no rug to wipe snow off shoes

Hotels.com "couldn't go foward with services." I waited 30 minutes and the guy working the front desk shrugged his shoulders when i told him that. There was no reservation in my name. The money had been taken from my account leaving me with none. It was 2am and 20° outside and the gentleman wouldnt allow me to be in the lobby while i tried to figure things out. I didnt get a refund and had to wait 2 hours for the bus outside, freezing cold and tired.
