Check in was easy. Hotel restaurant was great, clam chowder and wings were very good. Unlike other hotels, it was a quiet and peaceful stay. Breakfast was $10 for guests, but it was worth it. Will definitely book again.

We have stayed in this hotel several times in the past several years. I requested a room near an elevator due to my wife’s mobility issues and this request was granted. Pleasant and quick check in process. Our room is spacious, bed and pillows comfortable & the bathroom clean & spacious. There are good places to eat nearby and hotel has plenty of parking spaces. My wife loves the complimentary warm chocolate cookies! We wont hesitate to come back someday for another weekend stay.

Place was clean, perfect area to shop at with many options to dine at as well. I always book this hotel for my sister and best friend to stay at when they visit. Area is perfect! The hotel staff is always great as well.

Staff was extremely polite and welcoming. The cleanliness of the room was off the charts. Also, loved the convenient location--the Pruneyard has so many restaurants and a movie theater. Great place to stay.

Housekeeping is a bit questionable. Did not change or replace glasses or disposable cups until we complained to the supervisor. No apologies or whatsoever from him. Other than that, everything else was fine. Majority of the staff were courteous and friendly.

I ordered a room with a kitchen. When I check in and try use it. It wasn’t working. I tried call the front desk no one was answering. I walk up to the front desk and I was told the technician wasn’t in and I would be able get it fix. I specifically got the hotel with kitchen to cook and I wants able to. I’m not happy with my stay there and wouldn’t go back

I was a little disappointed that everything closed up at 10p and there was nowhere to eat after i was at an event all day. Also, the lobby area is very loud in the rooms.

This is a great hotel when visiting family. Room was comfortable, however, we were hit with a VERY strong chemical smell of cleaning products (bleach) when we entered the room; it never dissipated our entire stay. Dangerous for health; it made us nauseous & gave us bad headaches. Even when we woke up, it’s all we could smell. We told front desk clerk upon checkout; she apologized & said cleaning staff sometimes uses bleach to clean. She was very sweet & sympathetic to our concerns. A 2nd front desk clerk chimed in & said, “At least you know it was clean.” Not a good response to someone who felt ill from the smell of cleaning chemicals. There are so many other safer, odor-free cleaning alternatives that don’t jeopardize health. We want to stay there again, but only if there isn’t the intense headache & nausea-inducing odor of bleach for entire stay. It’s our hope that hotel staff sees this review & changes their cleaning protocol, because other than that it’s a great hotel. Hotel is a little noisy, but it’s to be expected for a hotel located in a busy shopping center. Parking is difficult especially at peak hours; there should be parking spaces designated for hotel guests only so we’re not competing with shoppers & diners for a parking space. We visited hotel bar for a cocktail & really enjoyed our interactions with the staff. We also liked that we could dine if we didn’t want to leave hotel. We highly recommend this hotel, but only if there’s no strong chemical smell in room.

Rooms and bathrooms, and beds were clean, updated, and comfortable. Accessiblilty was good and walk-in shower was helpful. Front desk and hospitality however were unreachable when needed in evenings. Breakfast options and the staff were good.

The walls are paper thin and you can hear people slamming doors in the hallway at all hours of the night. The room is nice. Bathroom is great. We had to unplug the air-conditioning unit because it would not shut off even when we turned it off. Location is great with tons of amenities surrounding.

It was a fantastic place to stay for two nights....I would have offered the highest recommendation in terms of facilities, staff friendliness, comfort, location, etc. However, late yesterday afternoon a wedding party gathered around the pool outside room window....All was pleasant until DJ cranked up dance music that continued into the evening at top volume....It was like trying to relax inside a booming disco....Although I wish the newly wed couple a great future I was not pleased to have several hours of quiet and comfort stolen away....Don't know why that location was granted to a loud wedding party but it was a terrible decision by management in terms of many other hotel guests like myself....An hour or two in the afternoon would have been an issue that I could have easily ignored but this went on for several hours that tested my patience....I did not complain but certainly did not want the harsh reality of an otherwise lovely weekend to go completely unnoticed....Please revise your booking decisions....You are primarily a hotel....Act like one....Consider your other paying guests....For Future reference please Invest in a separate venue for loud parties....Thank you in advance for your Attention to this One Complaint

My daughter and husband stayed here for one night for convenience to a softball tournament. It was minutes from the field (Bagby Elementary), and walking distance to a great assortment of shops & eateries (just behind the property). My son and I joined the fun at the pool and the entire family utilized the room for showers and afternoon relaxation. I personally loved the Crabtree & Evelyn toiletry items in the bathroom—everyone smelled delicious! Doubletree is known for their cookies at check-in, and they did not disappoint. Our entire team had a blast, and should we have another tournament nearby, we will gladly come back.

Number one for me was the convenience of the nextdoor Pruneyard Plaza that had amazing restaurants, shops, bars… so we didn’t have to drive anywhere to get those amenities. Very, very convenient!
