It was in a good location and fairly priced. The lobby was nicely updated and inviting. There was no elevator and our room was very far from the lobby. While we could park close to the room, going to the lobby was a chore, especially because my daughter was on crutches. Breakfast was basic. A little more effort in presentation and offerings would go a long way! Staff was very helpful and responsive.

This hotel is old and run down. not as portrayed in the photos online. virtually empty when we checked in with better hotels right next door. They claim that it is being "refurbished" but really did not see any sign of that. the room was sub-par in condition and again not at all like the photos online. totally disappointed.

Called for early check in weeks before. When arrived unable to check in, but came back 45 minutes after normal check in. Was told system overbooked and I couldn't check in. Was not called and told my room was ready until 6pm, when already at my event. When finally checked in at 940pm, was told I was upgraded to junior suite. I was thankful and went to room. It was horrible! Smeared blood on the door, mold all over in bathroom, bathroom filthy, carpet peeling off the floor, refrigerator leaking due to ice build up and couldn't shut. The whole second floor is in bad bed if cleaning and repair. Would hate to see what a normal room is like, if I got an "upgraded" suite! When I went down to get my kids breakfast and there was apples, oranges, 3 pieces of bread for toast I guess, coffee and water. Juice was gone. Not a Continental breakfast at all! Took kids to the pool to swim and water was so cloudy and area dirty, we didn't swim. Would not go back!

Clean lobby. Clean room with clean floors, clean sink, clean shower, and clean towels. Bed was comfortable. Staff was great. It’s not a luxury hotel, but you are also not paying luxury hotel prices.

The room was about average, the morning continental breakfast was very poor!! The highlight was the front counter, do everything person Elly!!! She was a highlight!!!! Friendly, helpful, happy, and one of the most pleasant young people i have ever met working in a hotel!!! She is the only reason this review is positive, she a is 5 STAR PLUS employee!!!!

The Front desk staff was very friendly and willing to help in any way. The next morning I did bring an item to their attention and they were appreciative for the info and stated they would take care of it right away. The hotel is older and showing a bit of age but for the price it was a nice place to stay.

The of the stair carpeting, the bathroom door and caulking around the tub were all in need of replacement. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. Signage was lacking, so I couldn't find a direct route to the lobby and ended up going outside and around the side of the building.

Not pleasant experience-not sure who is at fault the Red Lion or Expedia but hotel was overbooked so did not get to stay for my full reservation. Not sure point of reservations if you don’t have a room when you get there.

We stayed here for a concert at The Gorge. The hotel is in an easy location to access and the lobby is clean, staff is friendly. The room itself had decent bed and furniture and seemed very clean. The walls and doors and tub show plenty of wear and tear, looking a little run down. The bathroom door had water damage. While I think the price was high due to these issues, it’s still a decent place to stay and we didn’t feel unsafe or like the room was unclean at all.

The staff was super kind, friendly and helpful! The room was super clean. I have read reviews about this hotel needing an update, but we loved the "older" feel to the building. Everyone was super courteous and we had a great stay!

The Hotel is outdated and in disrepair. Bathrooms cramped and not working well. The entry doors to the rooms at the rear of the hotel being locked at 10pm and not accessible using a room key was unacceptable. The lobby bathrooms were not stocked or in good working condition. The Pool and Continental breakfast was good, which would be the only good point besides the staff being polite at check in and check out. For the price we paid for our room rate, being higher than normal during our stay over Labor Day weekend wasn't justified given the overall condition of the hotel.

This hotel was pretty gross. The bathroom had mold, the shower didn’t drain, the room was dusty. The hallways didn’t have any floor base and the white doors were all visibly dirty

We stayed here just before the pandemic. Renovations were in progress, however they still are not done. Rooms were dirty, especially the floors. Carpets looked as if they were not even vacuumed, sticky and haven't been cleaned in years. The bathroom was in disrepair. There was a chip/hole in the bottom of the tub, mild mold growing on the ceiling and behind the bathroom counter/floor area. Management and staff were friendly and helpful.

I loved this place and stayed often until they charged me twice for the same week of stay and have denied all proof and refused to refund my money. And I can't afford a lawyer to manage it so I appear to be out 400$

There was no one at the front desk to check in and no way to summon someone. Once the employee did arrive, he was lackluster. The room was dated. There was a spot on the carpet that was inexplicably sticky. There was mold on the ceiling in the bathroom, probably due to the nonfunctional vent fan. The bathroom by the lobby was not in a suitable state of cleanliness. Breakfast was underwhelming to say the least. Overall, I would avoid this hotel.
