Staff amazing
Hotel beautiful
Check in staff wonderful
Stunning grounds
Ate on site at restaurant for birthday and never in my entire life have I been charged for a birthday dessert. We also asked restaurant to move reservation to 630 instead of 530 and they said they could not yet at 7:15 The restaurant was still empty and plenty of seats were available. It was overpriced but good.

Super expensive for what you get. Long lines for drinks, slow pool service. Room was $1400+ per night and was no nicer than a Hampton inn. Place was 2/3 empty and they charged $250 for a late checkout. $3 dollar drinks are $25…

Fantastic resort. All staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Beautiful pool and beach. Rooms were great. Didn’t leverage restaurants as reviews were not stellar and far overpriced ($50 for a bowl of pasta?). Only negative is they felt understaffed. For example quick breakfast place to grab coffee, sandwich, etc was always busy with 10 people in line and took 30 mins. Poor staff their tried there best and super nice, but they needed more help as that’s a silly wait for coffee

We enjoyed our visit here so much! Friendly staff. Excellent dining! Highly recommend!

This is the most amazing place I’ve ever stayed! Everyone is over the top friendly, and the grounds are beyond what I could’ve imagined. It was an amazing place for my daughter, and we enjoyed the pools and the beautiful beach access.
The food and drinks at the resort are very expensive and that was a little bit of a shock, but I would do it all over again

Lovely grounds. nice lounge. The rooms should have microwaves. I know that is the new thing. remove them so people will buy from restaurant or deli. It is bad when you dine at the olivina, and have half your dinner you have to toss bc you can't reheat. what a waste of food when you talk about going green. The coffee is nespresso. Most people like plain coffee in the morning, and there was no tea. I saw a man purchase a coffee pot. again-transparent- bottom line is squeeze the customer. other than that nice.

Wonderful staff and hotel rooms

Property is awesome and the staff is really nice, there is a lot of renovation going on at the resort.

Absolutely gorgeous and well manicured property. The staff is amazing and top notch for cleanliness. Unfortunately from a timing standpoint there were some renovations going on that was unexpected and caused a few of the restaurant and bar amenities to be off-line. We really wanted to use HumuHumu bar and grill but it wasn’t available and some of the construction started early in the morning outside our room which was a bit of a distraction.

Out favorite destination. We keep coming back because it is the best! Your blood pressure lowers 30 points as soon as you walk in the lobby upon arrival. Don’t miss it.

Employees were very friendly and helpful. Room was upgraded to one with a view of the ocean.

The room smelled musty and moldy. We were harassed the entire time about wrist bands around the pool area. After losing a wristband we were told that we could not use the pool for the rest of the day. Another day we didn’t go to the activity center to update our daily wristband and was yet again denied to use the pool. For paying over $1000 a night I expected better service. We were charged for valet parking even on the days we didn’t use the vehicle. I wouldn’t recommend staying here and definitely won’t be back. The property was gorgeous though and a big shoutout to Danny at the Surf Haus for being a wonderful soul and his politeness!

Water stations and reusable containers. Lack of fine dining options.

Right now this hotel is a “holiday inn” place.. they should not charge more then $80-$100 a day. There is absolutely no service in this hotel right now….because of fire in Maui…there are not so many tourists there. This hotel did choose to stay open…charge over $1000 a day….but no staff to service you…we where told from some hotel staff that they did let many employees to go because of the fire situation…. Imagine that you can not get a drink at the pool side since nobody is there to serve you.. You have to walk all the way to inside the main hotel building to get a drink or food. This is a classic example of Corporate/Owner greed that only care about the profits….they don’t care that are charging you over $1000 a day and giving you a Motel service.

The staff is what makes the difference in staying here. ❤️ We have been return guests for 5 years. The property is beautiful, but declining and it shows. It is less Maui and more Corporate/we could stay anywhere else and pay far less. The staff keeps us returning. Not greeted with leis any more. :( Water feature wasn’t working. :( Would love to discuss with someone. Thank you.

The property was beautiful but I'm not certain that the price was worth it. It was very expensive for what was included. On top of the nightly room fee, you were required to pay a daily resort fee to use all of the amenities. There is no onsite parking, so you are again charged a daily valet charge of $65 per day. The rooms do not have kitchens, so you are all but forced to eat on site at the overpriced restaurants. The pool could have been amazing, but several waterslides were under repair, including the water elevator which has been broken for an extended period of time. The staff was very nice, but unfortunately, it doesn't really make the overall experience worth it for the price.

Some front desk staff members acting very arrogantly and assuming that you are ignorant or dumb

Beautiful resort, all of the staff were incredibly friendly and eager to assist in any way possible. Comfortable room, everything was very clean. Although it was busy it never seemed crowded. Great proximity to the beach and short walk to the shops at Wailea and other resorts for their restaurants.

I was nervous about the recent reviews in early July regarding recreational areas, pools & slides being closed due to construction. However, most of those were re-opened when my family and I stayed the last week of July. The grounds are absolutely stunning and the staff are so attentive and polite. It was everything I had imagined and more. It was a great experience as our first time staying in Maui. My kids and I did not want to leave after our 7 night stay. The Luau was a wonderful experience and the staff and performers were amazing. This is the first vacation that we can say we were satisfied with everything during our stay. One area for improvement is the price for mandatory valet parking. Nevertheless all the staff from the front desk, valet parking, Grand Luau, weekly activities instructor and dining staff were awesome. I live in Miami so their level of professionalism and warmness is refreshing. Mahalo!

Beautiful resort! Good location. Great for families with pools and activities. Spacious room. Good service. I wish more dinning options during our stay, however it’s still under construction. It will be a dreaming wedding facility after remodeling

The overall property was excellent but we would have preferred more dining options, and avoided the construction.

The grounds were beautiful, and the accessibility to the beach was very convenient. The pools and water slides made it a huge plus for families. It is a great spot for families. So many turtles in the ocean by the hotel too!

We stayed in July 2023 for 5 nights. Be prepared to spend. .. not just for the room but for every little thing. IF you're fine with $500/day in room charges, then go ahead and book. But every meal, snack, activity is more than what you would expect. For instance, we found ourselves eating at Loulu, the grab and go/deli a lot but a hamburger was $22, most entrees were $15 and up. It had the most options for my teens. It's usually the busiest place to eat in the resort.
The rooms were ok. We were in 2 queen bed rooms and the mattresses were NOT close to medium firm. The bathrooms was nice and spacious but there was only 1 light switch that covered the main bathroom, water closet and shower lights. It was too much light if you like to leave it on at night.

Beware hidden fees. Parking $65/day Resort fee $50/day.

Excellent location and great customer service! Very close to the beach, shops, and restaurants. We will definitely be back!

The grounds are beautiful, and there was something different and beautiful at every turn. Love that it is on the beach, and you can go from the beach to the pools very easily. Our room was amazing with amazing views! Loved being able to walk to get coffee and breakfast on property. The shops at Wailea were just a short walk away. We found lots of great snorkeling within just a few miles of the property as well.
My only complaint would be that with the price of the hotel getting charged $65/night for parking is kind of a punch in the gut!

Hotel is a beautiful sanctuary from a busy life at home! I would recommend better and more eating choices and tastier options at a decent price! You are loosing your Buisness by people going out of your hotel to other locales!

This was an absolutely amazing resort! Had the pleasure of being upgraded because we checked in on my birthday. Such a great resort in every way!

Absolutely gorgeous hotel and we had a fabulous stay. You’ll read some reviews which talk about the building work but we really didn’t notice it. The only shame was that their best restaurant was closed but luckily there were lots of other good options. We’d love to return and would highly recommend.
