Radisson Hotel Corning

The Radisson In Downtown Corning is a centrally located hotel for a holiday weekend visit to Corning. Accessible parking, quick check in, comfortable king size room with remodeled bathroom. Enjoyed being able to walk right from the hotel to the downtown main street with lots of shops, restaurants and we lucked out with a street festival during our stay. The staff at the hotel bar were friendly for a drink after dinner. The only things to improve on at the hotel, we were in the back building so you had to walk through the main building to enter a separate building & the elevator was so slow. It only had 3 floors wasting time coming & going waiting for the elevator. And the room window easily opened to let fresh air in but there was no screen & didn’t want to let bugs in. I would return on a future visit.

Signs in hall said the Property under going upgrades, but clean, bright and neat. Desk staff were very helpful but one member of the housekeeping staff complained loudly in the hallway about guests and their workload. Rooms were comfortable and the bed was great. Didnt use the pool but it looked good. No microwave in room but they brought one up when asked. Bathroom was small but clean and well kept. Towels were larger than typical (which is a plus). Very convenient location, lots of walkable shopping, eating, and sites. Hotel Bar/restaurant had good food portions and reasonable prices. No water fountain but ice machine worked well. There was a vending machine on floor for cold drinks and complimentary coffee and tea in lobby. Lobby seating was also comfortable and in a bright space. Easy to work in. Would stay again.
