Loved our little getaway. The pools were calm and relaxing! We will be back

Beautiful resort. Do not stay during Spring break (or any break?) unless traveling with children. Booked a poolside casita and couldn’t even use it because there were more kids than adults and all pools and grounds overrun by swim noodles, boom boxes and scooters. Thank God for the adult pool. Staff is great. Resort is well used. Might be time to take the carpet out of the rooms.

Pool and hot tub was green and filled with debris….disgusting
Landscapers working all day long around …noisy and disruptive.

We have enjoyed this property before and unfortunately will never come back. Understaffed, filthy and filled with odors. Hotel should have been better prepared for spring break. Lines were out the door, and rooms not ready at check in. It’s still a gem on the exterior, management needs to focus on what’s going internally.

Beautiful property with large clean rooms and lovely landscaping. The restaurants were overcrowded and difficult to get a reservation. The information in the brochure, online and thru the QR reader was contradictory and not up to date.

Great resort! Rooms could use a little upgrade.

The food was not great and drinks were watered down and the servers were rushed and distracted

Arrived at hotel 3:40 to check in for 4:00PM, which we were able to check in HOWEVER our room was NOT ready until 5:30 PM, so we had to hang around until our room was ready. We had dinner reservations at Morgans at the resor
for 5:45PM, which gave us about 5 minutes to get ready.
Hotel gave us a whopping $75 credit for the inconvenience.
Pretty lousy service for a room I paid $454 a night for!!!

There was a cockroach in the bathroom. It was next to the toilet then next to the shower. The bathroom is old and needs remodeling. I’ve never experienced anything like this in a hotel. It’s a nice hotel otherwise and the room was comfortable but the cockroach experience was not fun. They only gave us $135 off from our incidentals. We paid $900 for the room. Completely overpriced for what you get. They offered to give us a discount for future stay but I don’t think I’ll go back given the cockroach.

We love staying here and have many times. It's an old throw back hotel from the 30's. The property is huge with casitas sprinkled throughout. It's hard to imagine the orchestration that takes place to maintain this place with all the pools and jacuzzi's as well, but they do a Fantastic Job!

We had a wonderful 4 night stay at La Quinta resort. We loved the area, the restaurants, tennis/pickleball center, and all the various pools throughout the resort. We would love to come crack again!

Our family was there over the holidays. Impeccably maintained, friendly and helpful staff, overall great property. The two things that impacted us greatly and bummed me out were lack of parking by our room and restaurant hours. With the size of this resort, I was surprised how few options there were to eat, especially at lunch. Also, the resort does not label the parking spots they indicated were meant for our room. The spots closest to our room were constantly full and half of the cars taking the spots did not have the appropriate placard indicating they were hotel guests. It was a LONG walk to get to our car. My suggestion is they monitor the lots for unauthorized cars and/or label the spots corresponding to the room they are intended for. All in all, a great stay!

The property is beautiful and very upscale, but the rooms are a bit dated and unfortunately our room had some ants and a couple of roaches in the bathroom. The amount of money you pay for the rooms, they should be a bit more kept up. Our air ducts were very dirty-as if they hadn't been cleaned in months. The grounds are beautiful and well manicured. The area is very nice and upscale and it's safe. They are pet friendly and very welcoming, but I am not sure I would stay there again for the price. I would stay there if the rooms were a bit cheaper, but at $450 a night, I can stay at the Hyatt Resort in Indian Wells down the street.

We've been coming to this resort for years but this was the first visit since Hilton bought the property. On the positive side, the new digital room keys are fantastic. Restaurant service was wonderful, everyone was so attentive. Now, the negative, the rooms are in DIRE need of an upgrade, especially at the prices they are asking! I cannot stress this enough. They are SO old and tired looking. Not only that, but the furniture and carpets have stains all over them and the shower heads are so old that they shoot water out in every direction except straight down onto your body! We asked to upgrade to a larger room because our suite had only one sink. The first night we were told they were sold out and couldn't move us. Fine. The following day, I looked on their website and they had a myriad of rooms available. Yet when I inquired about moving, they said they were sold out. Only after calling them on their lie, did they offer us a much larger suite for $200 more a night. It was cheaper on their website. To ask high-end resort prices but provide the guests with Super 8 motel room decor and amenities is just wrong. Esperanza and The One and Only Palmilla Resorts in Cabo are less per night, and the rooms are gorgeous and very well-acquainted. Sadly, we may have to stay at a different property in the Coachella Valley from now on, even though we love the grounds at La Quinta Resort. However, the sad, outdated accommodations are a definite no-go for us and most likely a deal-breaker.

Well, the resort is certainly beautiful and walking around. The property was very nice. There seem to be a good amount of activities and things to do there. We paid extra and booked a Mountain View room however, the only view we had was a peekaboo view out one window across the pool. We saw many other villas with much better mountain views, which is what we thought we would get. The room certainly did need some updates in it. The showerhead was very old and sprayed all over the place. We went to dinner at the steak restaurant and waited one hour to get to our table. We had terrible service, and the food was not even worth it.

Dirty dishes from our room service were not picked up for a whole day.
Noisy facility due to employees and their golf carts constantly going by our room.
Come to find out our room was right by the sevice entrance for most of the workers.
Very disappointed in our stay.

Enjoyed my stay at this property. Reasonably priced for this resort. Will be returning. Very dog friendly!

The grounds look great but couldn’t sleep in due to the constant noises from the grounds keepers. All of the noisiest blowers, saws, etc were simultaneously being used.

The property is beautiful, and adorned for the holidays. That said, the property is tired and it needs a remodel to support the prices you request. The room menu needs more selections too. I showed up a 10P to check in, and asked as a silver Member to upgrade to the spa suite. I was staying one night, yet the front desk felt it necessary to charge for the full upgrade. You should have discounted it, I would have gladly paid more, but not $600 more. There is no way that room was rented out that night, you lost revenue and I walked away thinking your hotel is cheap.

Our recent visit was very disappointing. From check in to check out. I called hours ahead of time to make sure everything would be ready for our arrival. When we arrived none of my requests were followed through. We did not get the room requested.
Customer service was so so. Not the usual happy arrival greeting.
We didn’t like that you are no longer able to contact the front desk but have to go through a text to get anything done.
Our toilet had issues during our stay and someone came to fix it but we continue with the same issues.
Worst of all!!! We found a huge live roach in our bathtub. It was disgusting. We received an apology and that was really about it. Yes, they came and cleaned the room sooner rather than later but we expected more from La Quinta.
We have stayed numerous times and this was definitely the most least memorable experience. Unfortunately, I don’t think we will be going back.

Terrible and expensive low quality food. No service whatsoever. As though the management is still hung up in the COVID era. Lousy and rude unprofessional staff everywhere. Excessive noise from 6 am staff driving carts around. Had to wait 10 minutes at the registration line alone while the guy at the registration was conversing on the phone and never lifted his head or did any gesture that we are waiting. Overall, a price going across the board with no service at a two star facility pretending to be a high class resort. Absolutely worthless.

This is such a special property. The rooms are so comfortable and smartly designed. So many pools to swim in! Three excellent restaurants with an incredible variety of choices from morning eggs and coffee to evening steaks and wine. And there’s the coolest Market for smoothies and coffees and pizzas and gelatos created and served by a really nice group of ladies. I like the fitness center too.

By no means a 5 star. Maybe 20 years ago.
Horrible parking. Had to park 100s of yards away. Walk our luggage in. No shuttles to be had. Ask one worker for a ride. He said. Nope ? Getting coffe this morning took 45 min in a line. Only 3 people working

What a gorgeous property. We upgraded to a studio casita and it was great. Had dinner at the Adobe Grill, very tasty. Loved the adult pool and the smaller pool by our room.

Room was old, dusty and connected to two other rooms. The doors to the other rooms were locked but had huge gaps underneath so everything could be heard from our neighbors and vice versa. One of our neighbors had children and the other couple was fighting. Could hear their every word. No privacy whatsoever. The bed was nice but that was the only thing that was good about the room. As far as the staff and the resort, they were amazing. I would not however stay there again. This is the most expensive room we had every stayed in and by far was not the best.

Check in quick and easy, given a map for guidance.
The room is nice, clean and comfortable but the sink in the bathroom has a crack in it, along with some floor tiles. We booked to stay here prior to a hotel package for Power Trip and they did arrange for us to stay in the same room without having to check out/in.
The staff are lovely.
Would I stay here again? Probably not you can get lovely hotels for a lot less money in the area.
Would I recommend to a friend? Probably not for reason above.
