If you want a nice quiet getaway this is the place to go. Nothing moved to fast. Your table for dinner was your table for as long as you wanted. Great views, always able to find a place on the beach

Maybe the best kept secret of the Caribbean. Everything about our stay was perfect. We had an ocean front, 2 bedroom apartment that looked like it was just built. Everything shiny new and sparkling clean. Plenty of amenities. The location and the grounds are perfect. Both restaurants are excellent, the Blues is particularly special on Thursday nights with a live band on a raised stage. Service was impeccable. Our in room coffee maker broke and was replaced within 20 minutes of our call. The snorkeling is incredible right off the beach. Even the youngest kids can safely enjoy it. Easy walk to Willemstatd and plenty of excellent bars and restaurants between them. We are definitely coming back, next time with the family. Thank you.

The hotel was in an excellent location - close enough to Willemstad to be able to get to things easily but not too close to be crowded with cruise ship passegers.
There were several excellent restaurants within walking distance.
The two lagoon beaches at the hotel had the best sand of any of the 10+ beaches we visited on Curacao and had some of the best snorkeling too - lots of fish hung around the openings to the ocean.

The two bedroom apartments are an absolute must when booking this property. They are new modern, clean and massive. The one bedroom apartments are great too but they’re a bit more run down and dated. Both worked for us quite well depending on what your needs are. The beaches on this property are like none I’ve ever been to before. They have blocked waves from coming in so it’s calm, and great for kids to swim in. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The property is clean and felt safe. The neighbourhood to get here felt a bit unsafe to drive through but the property was great. It is so close to downtown Willemstad with great shopping and restaurants at your finger tips. This property was truly phenomenal and a special shout out to Anouk one of the managers who went above and beyond for us.

The property was stunning. Would highly recommend the upgrade and staying in the sea front apts on the peninsula of the private beach. The view is worth more than they’re charging for it. The staff were great. Hospitable and warm. Two private beaches. Never crowded even thought the hotel was at capacity during the holidays. Live music in the evenings and the jazz nights were lovely. Most wonderfully is that the hotel is close walking distance to Willamsted and very close to many of the top 10 lux restaurants in town. We walked to Emma bridge in less than 30 mins. Some of the best snorkelling I’ve done in the Caribbean.
Room for improvement: the room could have been kept cleaner, notably the shower and floor.
The gift shop could have more snacks available to purchase. Prices were very high, which is to be expected. The beach menu could have more fish/ vegetarian options.
If I return to curacao- I will not consider staying at another hotel.

Wonderful property, perfect beach with calm water thanks to man made jetty. Deluxe octagon room was large & lux, with nicely remodeled bathroom. Appreciated drying rack on patio, fridge & coffee maker in room.
Lobby restaurant not very good, however some very good restaurants across st/within walking distance. Good location, downtown adjacent and quite private beach

Everyone was so nice and food was very good. We enjoyed the close walking distance to different restaurants and walkable to town. Shuttles were available into town on the weekdays which was great as well. Would have like the beach staff to come around a little more. We stay in the blue wing and the beds weren’t that comfortable, I expected more. We definitely will be back some day.

The ppace is amazing and has breathtaking views. You can walk to the willemstad dowtown and near shoppings and restaurant. The staff is very friendly. The only concern we had is the service at any restaurant or bar it is extremly long. We had to wait over 2 hours each time we went to eat and eveytime we ordered something it never came and it took several requests. A bit pricey as well for the food they offer.

I just returned from a 7 night stay at the Avila Beach Hotel with my family of five. We had a great time and I would highly recommend this hotel. The pictures of the beach and water are not doctored in any way. The water was that blue and the beach was beautiful! We never had to fight for beach chairs when we came down at 9 AM and always found a place with plenty of shade. Definitely snorkel because the reef and fish are beautiful. We also enjoyed paddle boarding. We stayed in the newly renovated Octagon deluxe rooms which were quite comfortable. They had a great soaking tub to relax in. They had a great gym with plenty of room and equipment. I also had a massage which was heavenly. We received the free buffet breakfast every morning as an upgrade from Expedia. Everyone at the hotel was super nice and so accommodating. A huge shoutout to Diavenaylea, our beach server, who took such great care of us every day. The infinity pool was a lot larger than expected and the crows nest was a great place to watch the sunset every night. Across the street from the hotel were about a dozen restaurants to walk to. We ate dinner at the hotel just one night and it was a BBQ which was fine. They had people playing music or a DJ in the evening.
Curaçao is a very quiet, relaxing island which was exactly what we were looking for.

I absolutely feel in love with this hotel. The atmosphere, the room, the food, and the location. I loved how it was walking distance to downtown and to the many amazing restaurants. The breakfast and the restaurants on site were wonderful.

Nice property in a good location walking distance to Punda area. Excellent restaurants nearby. The beach here is nice and our room was very clean. My only semi negative comment is that the pillows were not very comfortable. Great idea to have the flip-flop hangers and brush outside the room. I’d stay here again.

The surrounding neighborhood is very run down, low income. The locals are not friendly, they aren't mean, but do seem bothered by tourism.

This property is absolutely beautiful, great location and helpful staff. The food on site is good, the breakfast buffet is a must. I ended up buying my own bottle of Bacardi and mixing it with their fresh squeezed fruit punch for the day and was AMAZING!!

The welcome juice upon arrival is amazing… I didnt like that I “paid” for King bed and then was told that it its not a guarantee, my husband and I are not small in a full size bed wasn’t comfortable. The beach breath taking views!!!! The food is amazing!!! (Although they take a long time to make) Dont misss the BBQ buffet and breakfast buffet!!!! (I wish they monitored thr pool more too many kids jumping in)
