Exceptional in every regard. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Incredibly comfortable and convenient for conducting meetings in the lobby and food in the restaurant is also very good.

Good Hotel. Good value for money. Great junior suite room. Cleaning could be improved

Shower head is broken, water spills everywhere. Room is outdated and smelly. Carpet is dirty.
Room was equipped for 1 person stay only even though we were 2.

The outside of the hotel does not match how nice the hotel is on the inside. It is a lovely place in a great location.

Very friendly staff. Excellent service. Conveniently located in the downtown area. Great views from the upper floors. The level of cleanliness could be improved.

Booked a suite. We arrived a bit early, around 1 and told that room wasn’t ready. No problem as check in is at 3 and should come back then… we walked around with our one year old and planned on having her take her nap shortly after 3.. we arrived at 3 and room wasn’t ready, they gave us a voucher for cognac or moscato which no one really drinks… wasn’t exactly in the mood for a drink, exhausted from driving and having a tired child. 330 rolled around and no room. Tried to ask if room was ready but the staff said I had to line up in 10-15 person long check in line… by the way everyone was agitated… as many people’s rooms weren't ready. Got the room, and let’s just say needing a refresh is an understatement. Many stains on carpets the sinks and tiles are all faded from foot traffic.
Only reason why I booked this hotel was for the indoor pool. Which we came to learn has been leased to a regular gym and guests have to walk through the gym and swim with gym members who are doing laps… looking out in full blown graffiti. After your swim, you can use one of the towels from the gym that have rips in them.
And the kicker is they try and nickel and dime you every step of the way.
I know how difficult it must’ve been for housekeeping and I have to say despite all the negativity they were so pleasant…
My wife and I have stayed at dozens of Westins and I can’t believe they put their brand on this… being so brand driven.
Horrible hotel and would never stay here again.

The check-in process was the slowest I have ever had anywhere, and no apology or acknowledgment from the reception staff ‘Maja’ , the hotel is incredibly dated and the swimming pool is heaving/ tired. Parking is €20 a day- when right next to the hotel it’s €13.30 a day on zona 1. So overall not a good hotel.

Disappointed in the room’s condition. Also, the AC appeared to be laboring to keep the temperature cool. Rippled carpet, peeling wallpaper, super slow USB port. Bathroom was clean.

Staff is all excellent! Property is starting to show its age but still a very pleasant stay!

Westin Zagreb was a great stay and the employees were good as well. Zagreb itself tho was pretty rough all around was just graffiti and not the best areas.

Very disappointing!
Very warn out corridor carpet, unsafe!!
Very expensive meals & coffee (Coffee 3-4 times the price across the road in a caffe) Expensive car parking. Location Great, walking distance to Ban Jelačić Zagreb Centar. Good Public Transport

Parking was convenient and good location to walk to the city center
Check in was delayed until 630 even though we arrived at the property for 4pm. Rooms are dated and need upgrading. Property is tired. Not up to Westin standards compared to other Westins I have stayed at.

Located in the heart of Zagreb, minutes away from all shops, restaurants and coffee shops.

The hotel rooms are very outdated. Also hotel reception service is pretty basic and unfriendly. The only good thing is the great breakfast they serve that is one of the best around the world.

Great place, would visit again!

Wonderful property and staff and service were wonderful! Restaurant in the hotel was excellent as well! Hotel is a bit dated and could use a refresh. It is also just a bit outside of city center with few options for transportation so you have to hoof it yourself or call an Uber. Nonetheless a wonderful stay in Zagreb

Nice indoor pool and huge gym

The breakfast was my highlight. It's also within proximity if you prefer walking. I'm a Marriott Bonvoy member but whole prepaid credit was confusing for me as it was the first time experiencing it.

The staff made up for it with their kindness and efficiency, but other than the large rooms I don’t have very many good things to say about this property. It’s quite old and dirt and the pool is downright disgusting with mold and roaches and quite smelly and worn locker rooms. We decided to check out after 2 days even though we were booked for 5 nights.

Great location and modern accommodation
4.0
Great location as it is close to old downtown area.
Was on an upper floor and a wedding reception was going on above my floor with live band that played late into the night making it difficult to fall asleep

This hotel location needs renovations: carpet is 30+ years old, room fabric curtains are old and dirty, the beddings were not comfortable, and comforters are washed only twice a year. It looked like I had mold growth in my room and I was not sleeping well. I also got sick there on my 3rd night. I think the room was not sanitized well before me.

Highly recommend. Stayed 3 nights in late April. I’m a Canadian solo female traveling in Croatia so standards are different for others around the world. I will admit that my room was outdated and a bit “dusty” BUT I had an incredible panoramic view of the city, made my stay so pleasant. I ended up staying in another room for one night. Although the new room was remodeled and much more modern, I had a sad view of the other side Of the “brutalist” buildings (kinda depressing tbh) Long story short; I was transferred to another room for 1 night since there was a party with live band playing on the 17th floor. My room was on the 14th floor and it was quite audible and I’m a light sleeper and jet lagged so I asked to transfer to another room for just that one night and the staff were very accommodating.
It was a Saturday and the staff did admit that this is a recurring issue when they book the 17th floor for an event. In a nutshell:
Pros:
- [ ] walking distance to EVERYTHING.
- [ ] Staff are super!! Very friendly, all speak English and they’re so charming and helpful.
- [ ] Great coffee at the hotel lounge.
- [ ] Complimentary shampoos, creams and nice toiletries
- [ ] Safe in the room
- [ ] Fridge
- [ ] Free Water bottles provided daily
Cons:
- [ ] Old carpet - felt stuffy
- [ ] Not so sound proof rooms
- [ ] Although they have doormen which I think they also double as security, I would have liked more protection ie access the elevators with card- I felt a bit uncom
