Had a great weekend getaway here. The staff were top notch and the amenities matched. There are still things being worked on post hurricane, but it had minimal impact on our overall stay. We would absolutely consider visiting again.

Great family friendly resort. Every day there are activities by the actual pool for kids of all ages. Ranging from making bracelets, coloring plush keychains, tie-dye T-shirts, movie night on Sundays. We rented a two bedroom villa which was great for the eight humans we had with us ranging from age 76 down to a one-year-old. The actor pool is zero entry making it easy for little ones to get in and out. There are two restaurants on site plus a breakfast only location that is included with your stay. There is a trolley that runs downtown and is free-- it will pick you up right in front of the resort and bring you to the restaurants offsite and then bring you back.

Pink Shell is a resort in the best of the classic style. The setting is gorgeous and the facilities are remarkable considering the damage to the whole island from Hurricane Ian. The staff is gracious. The food service is a bit lacking though we had a delicious dinner from on site restaurant.

We request a change of the staying date due to a family emergency and there was no flexibility at all. We expected more, specially because the price is super high. Very disappointed.

Over-priced. For example, how about $25 for a Bloody Mary at the beach bar? Not to mention the surrounding area remains pretty devastated from the hurricane so the area is not particularly inviting. The hotel itself is in good shape with pleasant staff and clean facilities, but they should adjust their prices to improve the overall experience..

Absolutely perfect stay. Our suite could not have been better-huge space, beautiful view. Our granddaughters favorite so far! Will definitely be planning another trip to Pink Shell!

The hotel was way overpriced for the product they are offering. The breakfast was a once and never again affair. The Ft Myers Beach area is recovering post-hurricane, which is no easy feat. The progress is admirable. The beach itself was wonderful, visit to Sanibel and Captiva super memorable.

Given that the entire Fort Myers Beach area is still recovering from Hurricane Ian, the facility was in great shape. We stayed on the second floor of Captiva Villas - it was a bit noisy each morning as the restaurant was directly below us - but the view from our room, the quality of the beach, and most impressively the service from all staff was outstanding.

The staff were outstanding especially our housekeeper Ediba her attention to detail was amazing and so friendly. The only downfall was you dont sell the pink windbreaker the staff wear lol if they are available online to purchase I would love to buy one. I would highly recommend the pink shell 🐚 💗

Nice resort right on beach. Great amenities and superb breakfast. Every single staff member was wonderful. Our room overlooking the gulf was nice and spacious. No fault of resort, they are trying to get back into full business after hurricane Ian so not all amenities are available and there is ongoing construction. We knew about this and are still happy we came to resort.

We had a great stay at Pink Shell and look forward to going back next year. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. They are making great strides in getting the hotel back to 100% and I look forward to see the progress during our next stay.

Given the hurricane Ian damage the Pink Shell is recovering well and it’s clear they’re trying. Beware, though, the Resort Fee of $49 a night that is poorly disclosed. Why it’s not just part of the room rate I don’t know.

Looking good after hurricane. The complementary breakfast was amazing and the wait staff so nice. All the food was good. The weather was chilly so they warmed the pool to a nice comfortable temperature even with cooler air. Clean and great stay. Construction did not bother us. Pool DJ was fun!

Nice newly remodled due to hurricane Ian 15 months ago. Still lots to be done, but what is done is great. Pool nice and warm. Staff all friendly. Great breakfast. Beautiful view from our room. Nice clean white sand beach.

They did an amazing job considering this was after a hurricane where the whole town was battered. Room was spacious and food was great. Service was fantastic. My only complaint is that the mattress on the bed and the pull-out mattress were both not at all comfortable for me or my wife, as we prefer firm and these were really soft.

The Pink Shell Resort & Marina is located in a perfect location. The beach is beautiful and clean. The pool area is large and open, pool is very clean and heated. The lobby is beautiful. The staff is very friendly and courteous. The rooms are clean and everything is new. The bed accommodations are perfect it is like sleeping on a cloud.

The resort itself is beautiful, and all staff were extremely welcoming. Unfortunately due to hurricane Ian everything is still under construction, the restaurant at the resort unfortunately was under construction, the main pool wasn’t open, and our views consisted of construction trucks and dirt. Obviously we knew the area wouldn’t be back to what it was before, and it is what it is. I just can’t fathom charging what the hotel charged given what it offered.

Beautiful beach, great view from the room. The breakfast buffet was quite good. Kids' activities were available at various times throughout each day of our stay, which our daughter enjoyed very much.

Understanding that places are being rebuilt. One big issue we had was that due to construction many stairwells, elevators and amenities weren’t available. Trails to the beach were debris filled and one party was injured. Our room had a malfunctioning loud fire alarm which was solved fairly timely, however the construction. Ouse during the day made the stay very unpleasant.

There were numerous things that were good: the breakfasts were outstanding: made to order omelets, fresh fruit, bacon, sausage, hash browns etc. the maid service in the rooms was very good. The rooms themselves are just ok… kind of run down, saw a roach, no lock on the bathroom door. Only 1 elevator was running in each building and they were dismally slow. They advertise activities but the water volleyball at 2 meant they put up a net but had no one to organize it or get people involved. The crowning touch was, after listening to 5 days of construction, being told to move our cars across the street, having no adult pool or evening restaurant, being hit with a $45 a day ‘resort charge’ at checkout. If you are encouraging people to come during your recovery from hurricane Ian, this is not the way to do it.

Under the circumstances of the hurricane back in 2022 they were able to restore the hotel, and it’s ongoing work in progress, even with that said, it was a wonderful hotel rooms were outstanding and clean and the beaches were beautiful, the people were friendly and made you feel at home. We played. I’m going back soon.

I know that the property is still recovering from the hurricane a year ago and when I booked the night with Expedia, they instantly replied to let me know that the property is undergoing restoration and that the work is ongoing and that not everything is open and gave me the option to cancel the reservation and book somewhere else. What a classy thing to do! No way would I cancel and our room is lovely as was the pool. Lovely place. We will return in the future.

I have never had such a magnificent view of the beach and the Gulf of Mexico. The view was amazing from the lobby, the swimming pool, the breakfast area and our room! Also, The Pink Shell Hotel is extremely kid friendly! From the moment we checked in, to the moment we checked out, my granddaughter felt so special. Most spectacular memories ever!

Our stay was a little splurge to our Florida trip. My Mom wanted to be able to walk on the beach right out of the hotel door which they had. There is alot of construction post Ian but we knew that when we booked the night. We had a great lunch at Bongos with a couple tropical drinks, sunset on the beach was wonderful. Our room was very clean and comfortable...special surprises was a beach bag and a big bottle of water. Fabulous breakfast at Jack's. We will be back next year!
