This is a very nice resort, but you must like a very crowded and loud pool at all times. Constant music and DJ going. The service at the bar was horrible. However the wait staff walking around did wonderfully. If it weren't for the non-stop noise at the pool I would have enjoyed this trip so much more. So this is just a personal view. Some people loved it especially the kids.

Everything was brand new and clean. The room was comfy. The servers at all of the onsite restaurants were very nice although they all made sure to mention that the tips were already included and suggested that we add to the already 20 percent gratuity. The facility is amazing and we really enjoyed the pool and beach area.

First two days we had no room house keeping accomplished. We had to get our own clean towels at end of the day.

You can’t check in until 4:00pm. You have to check out by 11:00 am. There were no exceptions. We had just one night there before traveling out of RSW airport. There was no time for the beach, literally. I knew there was a resort fee, then they slipped in a 38.09 valet fee. Oh, there was no alternative place to self park. Most of the staff was very pleasant as these fees are not their fault. But I don’t have to go back.

For 1.5 years out from a major hurricane, I felt it was a great experience. On site, everything was wonderful. The food at the restaurants was kind of average and the coffee shop a tad expensive. The pool was huge and fun, but know that it is only 4ft deep max at any point. They have a DJ all day, which we liked, but some may not. Our room was great, on the 4th floor with an ocean view. Some rooms face directly out to the bar area, so you might want to ask for that, or not, depending on your preference. The hotel is right at the beach. The valets were working their tails off and polite and helpful. The attendants were watchful and you felt safe. There are about 5 restaurants you can walk to and a couple of shops. We liked the Yucatán. For anything else you need a car. They are still very much recovering in the area, so keep that in mind.

The service is either a hit or miss depending on the person working. The fire alarm went off in the middle of the night, once out of the building there was no direction where to go and no explanation what happened. They didn’t honor our email with no resort fees or commentary beach chairs at the time of check in. The hotel said the email was misleading and not specific with the dates, so our bill was more than we expected.

Front desk person was rude at check in. Argued with me. Very poor way to start the stay. Never really got over it. That's my second trip to a Margaritaville Resort. Both times bad experience with staff. The location is what brings people so they don't need to take care of customer because they don't need them to come back.

The only “Resort” amenity is the pool area, all other restaurants/ beach / hotel open to public. The hotel was very clean, and within walking distance to many other eating and drinking options besides the hotel itself.

Booked a two night stay last minute utilizing Hotels.com for a fair rate compared to other hotels in the area. Clean, convenient, great staff and room was very comfortable with nice balcony. Highly recommend.

Hotel was new and clean. That being said when you’re paying almost500$ a night per room I expect beds to be made and fresh towels provided. Also the hidden fees and price gouging was absurd. Coffee prices that made Starbucks seem cheap. 10$ for a muffin in the morning. There was no place to walk to easily for breakfast and taking the car in and out with valet parking only was slow and with tipping added more expense. The resort fee was 30$ a day and near as I could see this was just use of the pool. No bikes… chairs on the beach were an additional 46$ a day. And loud music everywhere. There was not a quiet zone!

You can tell it is a new resort they have some kinks to work out. Went to breakfast and after 2 hours waiting went somewhere else for lunch. The people are very friendly and helpful. The following day breakfast was really good. The pay to park every day that you are there is a little much, you are staying there parking should be included. I can understand guest to pay but not people staying there for 4 days. We will visit again and but not sure we will stay there.

The hotel was beautiful. Although we stayed there because they are pet friendly I have a 5lb Yorkie and was told she was not allowed in the pool areas, outside restaurants she could only go in the lobby and rooms. So a bit pricey not to be able to use the resorts facilities. Also we had no hot water two different times of the day, barely warm.

Thought the resort was nice but not worth $500 per night plus a $30 a day resort fee and $35 a night valet parking fee. Will not stay there again.

This is a beautiful resort. The people are very nice. Maybe because it is new, I felt like I didn't really know what was going on. It would have been nice to have a map and menus in the room. We also booked through Hotels.com and were sent an e-mail that the resort fees would be waived, and we would receive complementary beach chairs. That was not the case. So, be sure to budget for the resort fees. Also, there is no daily housekeeping. So, be sure to catch the housekeeping staff to get towels etc. The beach chairs right in the front of the resort are the most expensive. Less expensive ones are available in either direction. Or, to really save money, just go buy some at Surf Style. It is gorgeous resort but was a bit too extra for us.

Wonderful weekend stay!! Very clean and excellent service throughout the resort. The pool was fantastic! Loved the security and the fact that they want to keep the pool area safe and nice for the paying guests.The bartenders at the pool bar were exceptional. Frankie, Heather, Shawna and Gwen provided excellent customer service.
The only thing I would recommend is to request a room with an ocean view. We were on the street side closest to the bridge and could hear the traffic and it was just noisy. Not the best view to sit on the balcony.We were in room 305 if that helps.
King size room was nice size. Huge bathroom plenty of towels small refrigerator.

Love the pool, easy access to the ocean. A lot of drink/food places on resort which is great because of the hurricane a lot of the night life ended.
Very clean, staff was very attentive.
A large problem we had was the way the floors are situated. There is a hub near the elevator where all of these really long hallways come to a meeting place outside the elevators. Problem is when you get a room in this hub.
All night and morning/afternoon it is LOUD out there as groups of travelers are meeting up, getting on the elevators, ironing out their days plans at the top of their lungs. Particularly disruptive in the evening when everyone has been drinking all day.

So we were pretty much woken up continuously every night and during the day they were so loud out there you couldnt hear the television. For almost $500 a night this reason alone will prevent my return. There are about 5 "problem rooms," on each floor and this can not be the first time they have heard a customer complaint about it.

Nicely done resort. Fits into the area well with a nice “beachy” vibe. Staff was super! Lovely location. The area still hasn’t completely recovered from Ian but that did not detract from our stay at all.

We had two rooms but they were booked as King beds, we got Queen beds. No water pressure in the sinks. No chair in the room. Hot water was warm at best. We were told the pool would be open on the day we arrived but it never opened. Outdoor tile job is horrible and a tripping hazard. And of course the surrounding area was devastated by the hurricane a year and a half ago. Wasn’t that pleasant of a visit.

Super disappointed with the whole lack of service.- only stayed two nights, but never had anyone check our room. Much of the facility is not open or usable- yet they still charge you for the complete experience ! It was neat to see, and hear all of the “ Jimmy tunes” playing everywhere, but overall it was quite underwhelming for the price

This is very new resort, so everything wasn't open and or finished. It lacked things to do except eat and drink, and that cost an arm and leg! They didn't have room service or any brochures to tell what's what. It was pretty though.

The hotel was beautiful. Staff was excellent. It was disappointing that the Beach Club was not completed. The surrounding area looked like a war zone with leveled businesses and gomes. There should have been explicit and clear communication from the hotel upon booking. It will be many years FMB will return to any kind of normal.

We just checked in on a rainy Christmas Day. Google Maps didn't show the entrance but we found it. When you get on FMB over the bridge drive around the resort and go to the left when you pass the resorts walking bridge to the beach. A little up the road there's an entrance that says no passports needed and valet parking only.
Here they'll let to park the car and help you with unloading and putting the luggage on a trolley.
When checking in you'll get a small margarita the kids get a non alcoholic drink.
They need to see an ID and a creditcard on which they charge a $ 100 a night for incidentals.
After that they bring you up to the room and show you around in the room.
Offcourse everything looks fresh and new. First impressions.
The room is a reasonable size, the beds look nice and comfortable and are high. There's small fridge and a safe.
Our room had no direct ocean view unfortunately but we could see it when we we're on the balcony and looked to the left.
As everyone else we are curious about the different room types. I think we have a standard room and I've made some 360 pictures of the room. Hopefully it helps you a bit in making a choose to stay here on your future trip.
We would have liked to make some 360 pictures of any other type of room but we don't have access to them ;) maybe on another trip.
