The room was nice but check in was late , 4:00 and check out was early 11:00. That is way less than one day. When we came up from the pool it was after 11:00 and we were locked out of our room. I had to go down to the desk and get a new wrist band to get into the room and get our stuff. Ridiculous .

We love coming here. This was our second time (first after hurricane Ian). People are so nice! Our first room had a leak somewhere and after the second time of walking into a puddle, we requested another room of which they accommodated immediately.

Nice restaurant with live entertainment on Fri. Night which was very enjoyable. Pool was warm and clean. Good access to the beach.

The resort was great. Loved it. Nice kitchenette. Lack of restaurants. Traffic in area was a nightmare. Would recommend. Great watching sunsets and beach was right outside.

This was a great place to stay for a couple of days to check on how things are going on the island. Everyone was helpful, the room was comfortable, and parking was easy.

The Hotel, the staff, the hotel suite with balcony, Cabana's Beach bar and grill, the food, the beach and beautiful sunsets. My 1st time staying at Diamondhead and everything was perfect.

We loved the property. Our suite was beautiful and clean
The area is still suffering from hurricane damage. The hotel only had 1 restaurant open with limited menu. The food that we had there was very good. The hotel still has construction going on. But overall it was beatful and right on the beach. The staff was also very nice.
I would go there again

The resort was well appointed. The staff was helpful but not intrusive. A lot of rebuild is happening so dining options within the area are limited (Mom's restaurant is currently functioning out of a small, temporary building but is within easy walking distance and has great breakfast sandwiches and rolls)

This Fort Myers location still has a lot of construction going on, so noisy and dirty, but staff was great and we were there for rest and relaxation at the beach and pool which were great. Limited restaurants so had to travel to eat and also very congested. With so many empty buildings still, I would not like to see the traffic congestion when Fort Myers is at full capacity again.

We enjoyed our stay at the Diamondhead Beach Resort.
We were on a week vacation on the Florida gulf coast and wanted to return to Fort Meyers Beach to see how it has changed since the hurricane. We were happy with the accommodations, the rooms were spacious and clean, the restaurant service good and overall we enjoyed our stay and would stay here again

Water was turned off in entire hotel for planned repairs with little notice. Could not flush toilets. Public restrooms were feces filled! Staff was dismissive. Had to call their corporate offices just for bottled water. Avoid this place!!

Be advised this property closes down EARLY! Restaurant only open from 11-7 and pool/hot tubs from dawn to dusk. Not ideal for familes with children who want to enjoy the pool area. I tried to go down around 7:30 AM to enjoy my coffee and book but couldn't get into the pool area. In addition, they closed down the outdoor pool bar at 4:30 when happy hour is 3-6. I thought the room was beautiful; great view and very clean. Convenient location and lots of great local places that are rebuilding and happy to give them our business.

Pretty misleading description of rooms as "gulf view" - the first room we were assigned has side sea view and mostly overlooking other people balconies. When asked for a change - we were given a room what doesn't face other balconies - but on 3rd floor and building ventilation on that roof made it impossible to use the terrace. Sort of enjoyed the view from behind closed windows. Other than that - staff was friendly (and also acknowledged that room descriptions are odd - since people in "pool view" rooms often have better sea view angle than people in "gulf view"). Beware when you book - likely to be disappointed.
