The room was effectively clean. The comforter was stained on the outside. I wasn't too concerned about that. The reality is, I wanted a cheap room. I got one. Was it everything I'd like to have? No. But I didn't want to pay for a room that had everything I'd like to have. "I got what I paid for" and for that, I have no issues.
There were some things broken. Shampoo dispenser in the shower. Light bulbs missing from the lamps. The chair seat was collapsed enough it was difficult to sit in it and bend over to tie my shoes.
But still ... "it is what it is".
The sheets and towels were clean.
No evidence of bugs.
No hassles in checking in other than being greeted in a "did you need something?" approach. Again ... don't care. just saying, if someone has any "average expectations" they'll likely be disappointed.
But... I wasn't kept awake by smells. Wasn't disgusted by unclean or moldy conditions. No evidence of bugs.
No comment regarding breakfast. My schedule required me to leave before breakfast was available.
