The price was what I would expect to pay for the convenience. However the ice machine was broken, the elevator did not stop on the 2nd floor which is where my room was located, and the bathroom mirror was horribly scarred. On the other hand the bed was comfortable and the room served it's purpose. I was able to sleep for a few hours and continue my journey.

When we walked in it smelled like marijuana smoke and cigarettes. The beds claimed to be queen size but were definitely full sized beds. Staff was extremely slow checking in and claimed that I never paid in their system when I had the receipt online from when I paid. Continental breakfast was just cereal so don’t expect much there. Room was degrading from years of poor upkeep. The TV in the room didn’t work and was covered with 4 inches of dust. Overall if you care about your health and sanity don’t stay here unless you are in to some shady stuff, bc this place is below subpar

It shows its age and can use some touching up and simple repairs, but nothing that was problematic. Breakfast was the most minimal we've ever had.

Rooms were good upgrades seem to be done by a non-professional as floor tiles in the bathroom area were cracked but overall good for the price.

The light skinned, big breast woman at the front desk was Not helpful at all. She didn’t want to touch my id or debit card. Very nonchalant.

It was just dirty. Our sheets were stained and looked like they hadn’t been cleaned. There were live ants crawling on our pillows. The elevator smelled like smoke. The room smelled like mildew so bad that we bought Febreeze at the store to spray. Somebody’s fake eyelashes were on the phone and bedside table.

Checked into room. Left moments later.

This was the nicest hotel we have been in lately. It was clean and modern and the people were very nice. I would stay there again with no hesitation.

The bed was so bad I slept in the window. The room stayed humid, I believe something was wrong with the ac unit that caused this. The walls had moisture on them the whole stay. There was dead roaches in my room.

It’s smelled really bad like mold and mildew, I just cancelled my stay. The front desk was actually the only good part but the condition of motel needs serious upgrades.

This hotel is very outdated and in very poor condition. The smell in the rooms are very overwhelming and stick to your clothes. Upon checking in to our first room #229 we entered our room and the AC was unplugged (90 degrees outside) and there was a toilet bowl scrubber sitting on the bench under the window. The smell was gut wrenching. I took a photo and returned to the receptionist to be moved. The next room #226 wasn’t much better as far as the smell. This smell was so bad that we had to go to Walmart and buy small air fresheners to help us manage. I would recommend staying at a new hotel if you are in need of a place to stay while visiting Meridian MS.

Did not like the environment and the condition of unit. Air conditioner was out of service completely. Chose not to stay.

It was convenient for my travel plans, and with a McAllister’s Deli next door it was convenient for dinner as well. It was very clean and the breakfast options were good.

Clean and nice

Where do I start? Check in went fine. The clerk was friendly enough, but was outside smoking and had to walk back inside to fully check us in. The room was anything but clean and comfortable. A pull was missing off one of the drawers. The air conditioning was turned off and it was on the high 80’s outside at the time. Once we started the air conditioner we noticed there were pieces of it hanging off of the front of the device. The bathroom floor was not clean. The mirror was not useable as the front of it was stained and you could not see your reflection. We had a room for 4 but only 3 towels were given. Once we got the air conditioner going the room still felt damp all throughout the night. Needless to say it was a long uncomfortable evening. The window cushion was dirty and stained. There was mold throughout our room on the ceilings. The bottom lock on our door did not work. When we went to the lobby for breakfast we were greeted with slices of bread and dry cereal. The cream cheese for the bread ( no bagels) was out and not chilled. There was a small refrigerator but it was not on and there was nothing inside of it. All of the tables for dining in the lobby area were dirty and we had to clean them off before we sat down.when we left our room keys at the front desk we asked for a copy of our receipt and he told us he could not provide one to us. The man that was working in the morning seemed very disinterested in helping us or even being there to work.

First room had a leak coming through the ceiling! Upholstery in the room was dirty and stained. Front desk unfazed like this was a long standing problem. Second room had various colored mold growing on the ceiling in the bathroom and mirror was literally falling off the wall. This hotel shows signs of neglect. Simply not fixing problems correctly and having them turn into bigger problems. The breakfast was abysmal.

The room we had was as asked for and quite adequate for the price. The breakfast could be better. The room had an “off” odor about it that could have been fixed with a room freshener.

Lobby bathroom smells like urine

The hotel is run down. A sheet hung in the window in place for a curtain or blinds. Wall trimming in bathroom barely in place.

The front desk clerk upon arrival was very cordial and personable. She was upbeat and very kind, despite our 11pm arrival. We had two rooms booked and she was very speedy and helpful.

Rooms smell terrible

Very last minute trip so expectations weren't high but this was the worst hotel I've ever stayed at. I felt dirty the minute I walked in to the lobby to check in and was very close to turning around and sleeping in my vehicle. The room was pretty outdated and has ruined any chances that I ever stay at another Microtel anywhere.

The room was persistently damp and had a mildew smell to it. To get the irom and boatd out the closet i grazed the hangers and the whole system (hangars and bar) fell apart. You can tell water is getting in around the window and the florr felt slick all the time.

The rooms are out dated and had a strange smell upon entry. The covers was thin and pillows was not fluffy.

It can be more clean and the air vent was messed up

We checked in and front desk attendant was pleasant. We got off elevator and the hallway smelled like mold/mildew. As soon we opened the room, it looked decent but outdated. It smelled terrible as well but not same odor as hallway. While trying to get kids pull out couch ready, i noticed nastiness!!! Crumbs and dried up maggots on the inside of the pull out couch. I immediately checked out of hotel. My family was forced to sleep in car because there were no other availabilities in town.

We reserved a room with 2 queen beds --- did not have one available and had to settle for sofa bed that was terrible

Walked in and the hotel had a musty smell and needed over all cleaning. Bad first impression! The front desk had a lot of trouble setting the room card keys. Walked into the room and the musty smell was horrible! Water was coming in the room window. Immediately requested another room. The next room was better, but still left much room for improvement. The rooms and hotel are in major need of RENOVATION! Seek a hotel elsewhere.

Worms on BR floor, mold spots on wall. No lid for ice. Door was so hard to open had to use my body to open and close. No shelf in bathroom for belongings.
