Staff was great. The breakfast was about like any other continental breakfast but the only downside would be that the hot water in the showers seemed to be turned down to an uncomfortably cold level. At least for the room we stayed in

The room was freezing and the toilet did not work. Had to finally request another room. Following day key did not work on the door. Went to front desk to find out none of the keys were working and had to get someone to open the door. And went back on Saturday after funeral, room was never cleaned. Room was put at 90° and still never got warm. Will not be staying here again.

Everyone was very friendly! My ESA Reesie was received with open arms which made me feel very happy as she is part of my life. My husband and I will be visiting Maggie Valley again and we will be staying here for sure. I would just ask that they do better on making sure they double check the bedding and towels are free of stains and that the shower curtain does not have mold. That was very disappointing but was made right by housekeeping.

was close by every attraction. ski, ashville, casino. front desk was very kind and wonderful. had a great time at the mexican restaurant at the hotel. would defintely stay here again if i ever visit maggie valley

The hall was so cold! No heat... and the room was cold but it got warmer within 15 minutes but the bathroom was still cold.. no heat inside the bathroom..breakfast wasn't that great..

The outside is a little dated but the rooms and other amenities have been renovated nicely. Everything was clean. I loved that there was no carpet in the rooms; and we saw the cleaning service moping when a family checked out. You can tell they want to keep the place looking nice. There is even a Mexican restaurant on property that was decent. It would be really nice in the summer with the pool and pool side bar open.

The rooms smelled dirty as so did the pillows and covers. Shower water came out brownish when first turned on. And the breakfast was very limited not good honestly. We were greeted by a young lady at the front desk, she was very nice. But hotel was not worth for its price. Elevator smelled horrible and needs renovation

Check in was a disaster, at least in part on the fault of expedia. They did not have ours or several other guests resrvations from expedia which created chaos. Overall the property was good. Breakfast had fewer options than the other CLarions Ive stayed at. There were numerous dogs i the hotel, amny barking continuously as guests left their pets unattended against house rules.

hotel may have gotten a remodel, but the elevator feels like it's falling apart. the doors dont go to the bottom of the floor so you can smell the room next door smoking weed into your room, walls are thin, ceilings are all cracked and falling down.

My medicine was stolen out of room sheets were disgusting not even changed no one has called to talk make it right or even compensate or helped with missing items called manager no call back or communication at all will never book again showed no sympathy

Hotel rooms seem to be updated but tv was entirely to small (32"), shower hot water seemed to fluctuate without warning, hallway carpet was aged and just needed an update. Location was great as well as the front checkin staff.

Property was overall clean, rooms were roomy and bathrooms were clean and well maintained. I will not give high points for locations as it is couple of miles before the Maggie Valley town. The hotel stands on its own.

Partially renovated property but some of the unrenovated areas are really worn and gross. It was pet friendly, which was good but the Floor you have to stay on with a pet has an extremely loud rooftop fan that blasts thru the bathroom and is almost unbearable. Reservation included breakfast for three but we were told on New Year’s Eve that the food didn’t arrive on time so we were just out of luck. This would not have been the biggest issue had they been willing to compensate us or give us a credit for the three meals we now had to go out and purchase.

Very old hotel and it shows. No security snd no secure entry into the hotel. Anyone that wants to walk through can as there’s no locks on the side doors. The hotel hallways are painted very dark with little lighting. The bed frame is an old time metal frame with springs and was not quiet at all. Sign says it was recently updated but that must be from 15 years ago.

When i arrived i was immediately accused of being someone they had spoken to on the phone twice, who had already had their reservation canceled 4 hours before i even made my reservation, and was not allowed at their property. (Newsflash i am not this person) At first i thought they were joking because they were so crass about it, but i quickly learned this was no joke. I assumed providing my license and proving otherwise would resolve the issue. Upon providing my information i was then called a liar and told that i was this person regardless of what my ID says and that i live in a local town and that i have stayed in their hotel before and have been banned.( NONE of which is true) they then proceed to advise that they had canceled my stay (two hours before i even booked it which also doesn't make sense, but remember they believe i am this other person) i tried providing my Expedia travel confirmation as proof, they accused me of making it up and said their confirmation numbers start with a different number. They then advise that i need to find another place to stay and left my husband and i with nowhere to stay 2.5 hours from home in the middle of the night. I was practically in tears the two gentlemen (one at the front desk and one on the phone i requested he call who supposedly spoke with "me" twice) were so incredibly rude and ugly. I have never been treated so disrespectfully in all my life and i was shocked and dumbfounded they would treat anyone that way. Disgusting!

The front desk staff was very helpful and friendly. The room was very nice. Convenient to everything in the area. Restaurant adjacent to the hotel was very convenient and the food was good.

The room and the lobby were in nice condition. The outside was a little rundown. The room overlooked the pool area and bar....it looked very run down. No a pretty view for our view. The restaurant was not open. People with pets should probably not be on the top floor, with midnight bathroom breaks for the pets.
