A family member had suggested this location to me, and I was not disappointed. My room was spacious, clean, and the bed was very comfortable. It is not a great neighborhood for restaurants, but I will overlook that for the friendliness of the staff and comfort of the room.

Check in was informative and friendly. Room was spacious and clean. Beds were very comfortable. Had some drinks at the bar and although expensive the bar tender, Doozie, was awesome! I would stay again when/if given the opportunity.

Nice place! Stayed two nights over the course of two weeks. Front desk is very helpful and hospitable. I will say, there is another member of the staff who is not as hospitable. A bit confrontational. But other than that experience, great spot!

Came to see our grandson at Uof I. Hotel very clean and comfortable. Only negative was the garbage truck picking up around 5 AM.

The room was very nice except for the coffee pot didn't work. The view was of the dumpster. The restaurant was very expensive and breakfast was not included. Breakfast was $17 per person. Overall i would not stay there again.

The check in staff member was very friendly which I appreciated when we arrived at 11:30 pm. We were in an accessible room and were not able to shut the blinds (we found the wall panel but none of the buttons did the job) so daylight woke us early. We were not told that breakfast was not included so $17 for a limited hotel buffet x2 was not a happy surprise. Thankfully I said I didn’t know there was a cost, and that we had only 5 minutes to eat due to a campus tour, and the nice staff member said she would charge us for only one of the two meals. That was nice of her and her rip reflected her generosity and flexibility.

Nothing at all like the pictures! Property is very run down and room was dirty! Bathroom had brown substance on door as well as carpet in the bedroom and overall the room including, sheets were not clean. We choose this hotel because of the reciews and in the pictures it looked better than some of the others. I would not recommend. Especially not for that price.

Well decorated and really comfortable bedding. Clean and in a convenient area for events at the State Farm Center. There was a bit of a musty smell in the elevator and hallway but not in our room. Our room was amazing.

The second floor smelled of marijuana and I could hear music playing loudly at 11 pm. I called the desk to report the noise and someone immediately went to the room to have the music turned down. Unfortunately, those guests just turned the music back up about a half hour later. The staff were friendly and tried to improve a bad situation.

What WAS super unique about the property was that Expedia gave us the reservation at all!!! Since the front desk help let us know that we would not be staying as they were all full and the opening for us to nab a room to sleep after driving cross country wasn't even available. We were able to grab a room across town though. The new room at a local Hampton DID have the blood from a recent suicide spread across the box spring BUT the front desk was super quick to get us a new room just down the hall. Which was nice. So... We had quite the night. I wonder though? Do others think that it's super cheap and super disrespectful to let that much DNA of a hotel guest get shared by current customers? I think that discarding and burning that box spring would be WAY classier. From this I realised that this is a thing and 30 years ago at a La Quinta in Columbus, GA this happened to us too. It's sick and no hotel chain should handle this like this. SO... Expedia, when I make a reservation with you, please honor it.

Superb! Clean Perfect amenities from sanitizer cloths to fridge They do need to update or repair fitness equiptment None of the cardio machines work correctly electronically. Scale is broken too Manuel settings work on cardio I forgot to tell them! All in all I love that the room for exercise is immaculate and at TV able to be turned off. I’ll take clean over a programmed workout Music and atmosphere and hotel interior design with comfort and privacy and space and light incorporated were excellent! Nice places to sit in public yet be private by use of dividers and arrangement of space. Well done!
