Very nice hotel and very nice staff. The only complaint I have is that you have to pay to park in their lot, however, the lot was not manned, you did not need a key to enter or exit the lot, and the front desk did not ask me to give my tag number - only the make/model of the car. So I guess I don’t understand the $28 parking fee.

Clean roomy accommodation. Nice property with access to a lot of restaurants. The only negative is we didn’t receive any housekeeping service while we were there for 3 nights.

Wi-Fi did not work in the room despite several requests. The bathroom light did not work properly, it kept on going off, motion sensor kept on going off. We had to go and get new keycards three times because they were so sensitive to the phone.

Very upset we booked at hotels.com and when we arrived you had no rooms available yet you took our money and we are having to jump through hoops to get it back! Never again!!!

We stayed here for the location. Several reasons for the lower review on everything else. When we arrived we could not check in until check -in time, even though we had previously requested it by phone. Possibly just no rooms ready yet - moving on. Our flight was changed and we needed to stay an additional night. I called the front desk and asked to extend our stay one more night. I was told that since I made my reservation through a 3rd party I had to make my reservation with them. This seemed odd that the staff could not make a reservation for me. After making my own reservation I called the front desk to see if we could stay in the same room without moving. The girl told me that would be fine and just come by the desk sometime that day. I did this and she checked her computer and said everything was fine. She asked if I wanted housekeeping and I said yes. Later that night - around 9pm when I got back to the room - housekeeping had not come. I called to request towels so we could shower. No one brought any. I called again 30 minutes later and finally had towels delivered. Also around this time a gentleman knocked on our door and told my husband no one was supposed to be in the room. I called the front desk and they said we should have checked out that day. I explained that this had already been taken care of with 2 front desk staff. The woman said I needed to come the desk to give her a credit card for incidentals. I said I was in bed and not dressed and she said “sorry” -

Very kind staff and welcoming. The bed was very comfy too. It was nice to also have food and bar in the hotel. Walking distance to restaurants.

Did not clean room. Did not explain non cleaning policy to us. Giving us the reward on check out and not on a daily basis is not helpful. Temperature control in room was not ideal. Still, great location and decent value.

The hotel lobby, restaurant, pool area are very nice but the rooms need a little TLC. We had an infant and noticed wall sockets falling out. We asked for a room with a tub but didn’t get one (for baby). We also had a pull out chair bed but no extra blankets and pillows. We called and asked for them and they were brought up. Service was great. Extra friendly.

I was staying for a business trip and the location was good for my purposes. The room was very comfortable and had everything you would need for a comfortable stay. I slept well. It was super convenient to have a restaurant for breakfast and a cheerful Starbucks concession available all day and evening. My only two comments are that the property really needs to be refurbished and could really benefit from some sprucing up, and I had zero wifi in my room. I had to go down to the lobby to use the internet.

The location is great. The rooms are a bit dated air conditioner heater cover fell off a couple of times Internet service was nonexistent. The pool was not working order and the grounds unkept they don’t have change, so it was real hard to leave a tip for housekeeping.

Hotel is beautiful. Very clean and modern. There are a lot of shops and restaurants close by. But, the heat/air conditioning unit did not work in our room. It was cold. And it would have been nice to have a microwave. And I think $28.00 a night to park is a little outrageous.

I booked this hotel for a 6 night stay. My connecting flights got delayed and I arrived 1 day late. I called at 7am the day after my scheduled check-in to let them know, and the hotel informed me that my reservation had been cancelled. Expedia would not offer a refund, and I am left without a hotel room and no refund. The staff at the hotel maintained that this was policy, that it was my responsibility to inform them earlier that I would arrive late. They were unwilling to do anything to help. I arrived in LA to no hotel or refund. All this after delays, missed connecting flight and lost sleep. I was told that the manager would call me, he never did. I had to find another hotel and never received a refund. I’ve never had such a terrible experience with a hotel. Don’t stay here.

This is a lovely hotel! Recently remodeled, it is very clean and well thought out, the beds are very comfortable, and the location is wonderful to walk to restaurants. This is our new go-to hotel for visiting the area. They even have bikes you can use! Glad we found MDR, we will be back.

This is a hidden gem tucked in the area right off the Lincoln and the 90 Fwy. (There is no noise from the freeway). Very nice with close walk to shops and great food.

We had work done on our house and had to stay out overnight. This hotel was close and had good ratings. The lobby, restaurant and pool weee lovely. The carpet in the hallways was dirty and soiled. Our room had no closet. The hair conditioner container was empty and I wondered how the cleaning people did not not notice. On The plus side, the location is close to everything. Overall, for $350/ night, I expected better.

A wonderful hotel with great location. Only problem was the bed seemed old and needs to be replaced. Both my husband and I had restless sleeps and woke up with stiff backs both days.

The room was okay, nothing special but clean. A lot of the tech didn’t work (no wifi anywhere on the property and problems with the TV). However, the staff was very accommodating (Halo and Aria in particular) which made up for things.

Bath/shower soap dispensers are not in many of the rooms. Some rooms have these dispensers while others do not. Bathroom door shuts close with a bang, waking up your guest. Rubber bumpers would fix this. The room mini refrigerators are extremely small compared to other hotels.

I have stayed at your hotel many times. The beds and pillows are so comfortable. The bartender Jorge Torres is the absolute best. He always remembers me and it makes me feel special. Not to mention how exceptional he is at his job. I will be back in November and can't wait to say hi to him. You have a front desk named Emma Lara. She is an absolute delight. She always has a warm smile on her face a greets you with hospitality that is above and beyond. She is a huge asset to your team and you are very lucky to have her.
