They were very accommodating when we needed to change our room. They even provided us drink and dinner vouchers for the wait time for the new room. The restaurant was very lovely and had nice music.

This time I did not enjoy it first Che king I had my dog with me they charge me my dog is a service dog mental disability than my second day no room service had my towels dirty

Beautiful property with nice dining and room service. Would have liked to have been asked if we would like a marina view room (even for an upgrade charge), instead of the parking lot view we got. But my error for booking last minute and not thinking about what would make a more expensive stay better for my family. Would recommend to others:)

The room we were given initially seemed find only to wake at 8 a.m. with really loud constant pounding. Our checkout was at noon so I was trying to work. I called the front desk and they said they would look into it. Never called me back, so an hour later I enquired again. Oh, it’s construction right under you and they are trying to work as quietly as possible! I said that was not ok and wanted compensation. When we checked out the front desk person, Ana Puente (310)823-5333, said she would give us half off the room rate. She would call Expedia but we needed to as well. I asked for her card, was given hers as well as her Hotel Manager’s, Hee Sung Choi (310)439-3022. We called expedia Tuesday evening, March 26, 2024, Francis the customer service representative, looked at our itinerary number 72053048927392. He said no one from Jamaica Bay Inn had contacted them. He was passing it onto the follow up refund department and we would hear from them within 72 hours. I asked him to attach the contacts we had to the issue so your personal could get to the correct contact. He said he didn’t need to since they would know who to contact. We did get an email yesterday stating they were looking into it. But today, March 28, received an email stating they couldn’t get in contact with anyone at the hotel so therefore NO compensation will be refunded!!! This has been an extreme nuisance, taking up my time and the buck being passed from the hotel to expedia. BAD BUSINESS!!!

The check in was great however when I returned to my room that night I could not get in to my room. Maintenance had to come up and let me in but they could not fix the door so I could not leave my room again or I would be locked out. They did not offer to switch my room which I would think is a hazard. They had to come up this morning to try and fix it again. This has been super inconvenient and I’m still shocked theybdid not just switch my room last night and have not offered any compensation or even a free breakfast or free parking for the huge inconvenience. This is not an inexpensive hotel to stay at!

Clean room, friendly staff, and quiet. We got a room with a balcony and it was a beautiful view. Walking path, park and beautiful view of the water.

We enjoyed being by the marina and it was a good walk to the beach and pretty close to Venice. The carpet in the main hallway was a bit dated, but I thought the room was very nice. The restaurant and bar with view of the marina was cool. Front desk was very nice. Would stay there again.

Great hotel! We visit a lot and used to live there and will start using this hotel from now on. Price is perfect and it is clean and nice. Love it.

The staff was very helpful and friendly but the beds were NOT queen sized and were horribly uncomfortable. There was a water shutoff on the first night we stayed and had I known that was going to happen I wouldn’t have booked. All in all I would not recommend this hotel, especially at the price point.

The valet attendants are always friendly, a great welcoming smile everytime I go to Jamaica Bay Inn. Sadly, the front desk person lacked friendliness, not welcome and was not preceptive. As I came up to the front desk, she stood next to me working on bags on the desk but did not welcome me or even let me know she was going to help me. Then we she did get to her computer, no smile and I felt like I was carrying the conversation. The room was nice but the furniture and design seemed dated and worn down. We headed to the pool and since it was a bit chilly, decided to use the hot tub which was not hot enough to keep us warm. Sadly another disappointment. We had dinner and drinks at the restaurant which is always great service and food. I hope there's more importance put on the front desk staff to me welcoming as they are the hotel lobby greeters and start to vibe for the hotel.

The view and location are great but absolutely the worst customer service we’ve ever had from a hotel. Front Desk Supervisor (and help) was the most unprofessional person I’ve ever dealt with. Highly recommend staying somewhere else.

Had a room with a balcony overlooking the marina. Nice view of water, boats and beautiful grounds. Had dinner in bar and lunch on patio restaurant and both were excellent. All of the staff - including check-in, bar, restaurant, housekeeping and check-out were wonderful. Would definitely stay again.

I stayed here with my husband and two children, the hotel was great, beautiful and quaint. The room was a little small for the four of us but we made it work. The beach was fantastic. and the staff was SO friendly. We ate at the restraunt two or three times. Food was top notch a bit spendy but you are at the beach in LA. Great Proximity to LAX and other beaches like Venice and Santa Monica.

I was supposed to have a double queen with a tub and view. I wound up with a single king, no tub and a view of the Marriott across the street. Also the hot water took forever to come on and the light went out on me mid shower Saturday evening. Water pressure could be better and the mattress was not a pillow top. I expected better quality than my own king size bed I have at home. The pillows were great and the staff was very friendly. I also feel the parking should be included with the price of the room. Makes no sense to have to pay to park with no option of street parking. Overall I enjoyed my time out of town but I expect more from a Hilton especially for the price.

The area is great. Hotelroom was old and the air condition made extreme noise so we had to shut it off. There was one towel less then people booked for and the towel that we asked for never arrived. Reception compensated with free parking and bike rental at check out. I would not recomend the hotel, too expensive for the standard

Property is dated and needs a refresh. Rooms are dark with poor lighting. Faucets were corroded. The front desk did not check us in properly and tried to get a CC number from us at 10:30pm when we were sleeping!

Very stylish, conveniently located hotel in beautiful Marina del Rey with an upscale restaurant. Loved everything about it except the bed was really uncomfortable (sagging, unsupportive and could actually feel and hear mattress coils/springs); we woke up with sore backs. Hopefully the beds in other rooms are better.

The gentleman at reception was so gracious to check us in many many hours early which was so appreciated after lengthy travel. We pulled the blackout drapes and fell into the comfy beds and slept for hours. We tried the restaurant on site but it was a bit to fancy food for our pallets. So we ended up at the Cheesecake Factory about a block away and it did not disappoint. The hotel is perfectly positioned on the beach. Pool was small but nice just to sit and relax and take in the view. Great spot to just read a book. Very close to LAX with only a 15 minute drive. My new go to hotel in LA area!

We have stayed there before many years ago at that time the rooms are very clean and taking care of. The rooms to be updated and there were repair going on at night while we were sleeping outside and inside in the next room.

Had a great stay here. Hotel felt safe, room was clean and comfortable (we were in 350 that had a great view + balcony). Front desk staff were fabulous. Only complaint, was that the restaurant 'hostess' on one of our nights was utterly disinterested in anyone, or anything, other than her phone. Restaurant also is over-priced and menu needs more options. Overall, a great stay.
