The property was kept in good condition, though it is obviously not a brand new property. The staff were all friendly and cordial, and they were happy to accommodate our requests within their ability to do so, (early check-in, late check-out). There is a small shopping plaza directly across the street as well as other stores and restaurants within just a few minutes' drive, in any direction. A very pleasant place to stay.

Bath fan didn't work. Switch for sink light but no light. Toaster didn't work. No extra blankets.

The hotel wasn’t what it should gave been. Construction everywhere, “Free” breakfast was a bust, pool times were not what they were supposed to be. The room silverware/dishes/etc., were dirty. One of the phones in the suite didn’t work. One TV in N the bedroom kept peeling itself down, they had no idea how to fix it. Wouldn’t stay here again

Staff at check-in were friendly and nice. That’s the only positive comment I can make. Everything else was awful. I booked a studio with a king bed. They “upgraded” me to a suite. The kitchen smelled like rotten onions, the bed was only a queen, the bedroom tv didn’t work, the air conditioning sounded like dump trucks crashing into each other every time it kicked on, and the bathroom was dirty and falling apart.

I stayed at this hotel on my way to Florida and on my way back. The first time the room smelled like mildew. The second time like a wet dog. Both times I had a difficult time sleeping because the bed was uncomfortable and didn’t provide much support for my back. The air conditioner was very loud, sounded like a freight train. I asked the girl at the desk to help me change my room to a king bed. Even though there were rooms available and I was willing to pay extra, she told me it wasn’t possible because of way the hotel was originally booked. I noticed dirty hand marks on the bathroom door, looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in months. There were also issues with the handicapped room. The shower curtain and water barrier were not properly placed therefore allowing water to leak on the floor causing a slip hazard. The breakfast was disgusting. I still have a picture in my head of rooms that are old, smelly, not cleaned properly and not maintained.

We love the Residence Inn in Pinehurst. Prefer to stay here everytime we visit. They have everything we need, even more so then the resorts on site. Having said that, the rooms are getting a little dated, or more importantly have a mildew smell to them. Also, the bathroom floor tile grout has mold growing all in it. Rooms are a little damp and smelly

The hospitality at the Southern Pines/Pinehurst Residence Inn was spectacular. We loved the little details, like having the outdoor fireplace lit and full breakfast!

This hotel is conveniently located and the service is great. The only rub was that it is quite dated. The carpet, furniture etc. is quite old. The room and common areas were clean - just dated.

Just what I needed in case restaurants were too congested during the Corona virus. Turns out I didn't need to cook myself,but it was good to know it was possible.
