It is a good location hotel, the window just face the Mt Cook. Room is big and clean.

Staff in front of house - in particular Gaiska (a trainee) was superb. Thank you Gaiska for bringing whatever we needed to our room.
However food in restaurant for dinner was awful. This is what meant a 4 star over 5. Skip the buffet and have dinner in Tekapo.
The cafe food is great if you can wait till 1030am.
Views are out of this world from room. Definitely book premium room.

Incredible location right in Mount Cook Village in the national park - we had an amazing view of Mount Cook right out the window. Hotel is very high quality - our room was very comfortable with everything we needed, lovely to return to after a day of hiking. We didn't get the breakfast though and brought our own food with as it's very expensive
