First of all asked for a handicapped room. I was told it would cost more. Because I was told it was a bigger room. I try to book a handicap room on Hotels.com website. It was not one of the options. This is wrong and never staying at this hotel again. Carpets were so dirty, bath tub dirty as well.

Microtel had comfortable rooms, great customer service and a very convenient location for us to stay when visiting family who live in Morgan Hill. The price was quite reasonable. The grab-n-go breafast is quite basic, but sufficient and a big plus over the hotels that don't offer any breakfast.

Stay away from room 125. It is an old style handicap room. We turned on the shower and the bathroom immediately . The night attendant did not want to give us extra towels because she was afraid that the maid service would be upset. No, we weren’t handicapped so I’m not sure why they put us in that room

It was a fine place to stay and welcoming enough. The bathtub was damaged in a way that made it look unappealing. There were noisy neighbors yelling at 2:30 in the morning and then again at 3:45. Otherwise it was fine!

They had one employee having to do everything from give out towels give me a new key and check in. The first room had dirty walls and stains and light kept flickering. Had to change rooms and then keys would work until multiple keys were made for second room. Was a nightmare

My window was broken and I needed fresh air and couldn’t open the window. And I couldn’t use the air conditioning because it gives me a headache and sore throat. I called staff but they couldn’t open the window either. And too late and tired to move . Please next time check the facility room that all is functioning perfect for there is no inconvenience.

Sheets were not cleaned and appeared to have blood stains. Asked to move rooms which the counter person was very nice and accommodating. The cleaning staff were very rude and cleaned our room out while we were at breakfast before we even fully checked out.

The staff was nice but the hotel was in disrepair. Even upon entering there were letters missing from the sign- we jokingly called it the no-tell Crotel. There was a large tear in the upholstery of the window seat- it was literally the first thing I saw upon entering the room. The dresser was cracked and had a large chunk missing, and the shower had a hole in the fiberglass. The smell of cleaning chemicals in the small room was overpowering. We were also on the ground floor and there was no liner on the curtain so we couldn’t have the black-out curtains open at all or everyone would be able to look directly into our room from the parking lot. I would not stay here again and am surprised it was rated as highly as it was.

The staff was very nice and helpful. The room was "micro" but we knew that going in. There were some items that needed replacement in the room for a better experience: the mirror at the desk was cracked, and one of the lights in the bathroom strobed which was annoying. While the room was micro, the room price was not.

Although check in was good & friendly, the room was terrible! Broken bathroom mirror, broken A/C, broken drawer phone didn’t work, no ironing board & iron cord frayed in multiple spots. Electrical outlets in room didn’t work or would turn off light when device plugged in. Bed was bad. Will never stay again.

This hotel was a nice inexpensive place for a 2-night stay. Beds very comfortable. However, frig leaked, got second one -- same problem. Bathroom sink not clean when we arrived -- we cleaned it. Had to retrieve toilet paper as roll was empty when we arrived. But it may just have been missed. I would stay here again. These problems were minor and location was very convenient.

We stayed there only 1 night. What was bothersome is the lights in the room was sensor activated. It was annoying how one of them wouldn’t work properly and one of the lights would go on and off at the slightest movement. What made it worse, it was the night right above the bed so I want able to get proper sleep. The hair dryer was not working as well. I informed the hotel staff about it when I checked out, but it seems like the issues was being dismissed.

I had to change the sheets the second we got there. The sheets are at least 10 years old and stains everywhere. Hair in bathroom sink. Pillows are 10 years old as well. The front desk person was very nice though when i brought her all the linens

I was assigned Room 308. When I checked in, there was no shower curtain in the bathroom, and only 1 large towel. I had booked a 3-night stay, so I assumed the maid would replace the shower curtain the next day. When I came back for night #2, there had been no maid service at all. I went down to the front desk to get a towel, and the clerk told me I had to request maid service, so I did, and finally got the shower curtain after maid service the next day. Lastly, after my stay I noticed I had red bite marks on my right ankle that looked a lot like bedbug bites. To be fair to the motel, I did not verify the presence of a bedbug nest in the room. But if I were the management, I would check the lower right corner of the bed frame (as you look at the headboard) to see if the room has a bedbug nest.

Overall not a bad place for over night stay. Location good safe well lit. In my opinion the quality of the mattress is something that needs to be looked at. Not a good nights rest because of this.
