We travelled through Toronto on our way to our destination. We stayed at the Doubletree on both ends of passing through. The first stop was two nights, and the hotel threatened to cancel our trip unless I called to confirm. They already had a cc on file for us. The return trip back to this hotel our room was cancelled out right by the hotel. I have a confirmation email, and Doubletree denied having the reservation, but said they had a room available but it was for considerably more per night then what we had reserved. We were exhausted, and without many options since we didn't have a car to travel to another hotel. I ended up rebooking through hotels.com at a reasonable rate. I cannot give a recommendation to this property because they cannot be trusted. They seem to be trying to take advantage of weary travelers and it's disgusting. We will not stay with them again. If you book your hotel with them, buyer beware, you may not have a reservation when you arrive. Additionally, The front desk staff was abrupt and rude. The shower was grimy and filthy...it looked old and stained with dirt and mold. There are lots of options in that same area. The restaurant also had a mouse running around which we alerted to the owners. The restaurant staff were friendly, the food was fine. It's unfortunate about the mouse, and the hotel they are attached to.

We stay one night only good check in but the Tv was not working and not action was taken the location is good close to restaurant good space to parking cars but expensive.

The service was just okay. Our tv didn't work initially and it took two calls to the front desk to get someone to the room to take care of it. The cookies were not the same as other double tree cookies. They weren't warm and they had nuts in them.

Used the shuttle to and from the airport. Driver was very pleasant. Hotel is very close to Pearson. Went to the bar for a drink, very nice staff. Ordered room service, it was good and quick to arrive. Would definitely book again.

Hotel itself was fine. Upon check in, we were told we had to pay for parking separately. So when we left we paid at the big machine in the lobby saying “pay for parking here” for our two cars. After leaving, the hotel double charged us again for parking two cars, essentially stealing $56 from us. Not great.

Clean and comfortable hotel, close to airport with complimentary airport shuttle service. Sadly, despite having received an email stating as Gold Hotels.com members we were entitled to premium services, we were advised that is only granted to Hilton Reward members. Hotels.com, you need to get on the same page as the hotels you market.

Main lobby is so nice and comfortable to relax in so you don’t have to be in your room the whole time. Staff is great and it’s so close to the airport.

Stay and room were okay. I ordered a wake up call for an early flight and never got it. Was told at reception that their system was down! Considering that flights could be missed it might have ocurred to them to go old school and knock on the doors ? Luckily i had a backup alarm on my phone but not impressed with the service.

It was super overpriced and had to pay out of pocket for breakfast. Then on the card for breakfast it said “breakfast is on us” which makes no sense. Food was cold. Bacon shattered when we bit into it. Bed was too soft and hard on the back. Cost like $340. What a ripoff.

I needed a hotel near the airport due to a flight cancellation and the Double Tree was like a much needed “vacation”. Cozy, comfortable room with room service of the best Thai meal. Now I’m ready to continue my travels.
