This stay was absolute awesome! My grandkids had such a wonderful stay.
The staff was very friendly and helpful.

The food portions at the pizza place were little small.

Great stay! Never disappointed, The pool looked so inviting, but we forgot our suits! Next time!

The hotel is conveniently located. Its very outdated. The manager was super friendly and helpful. The rest of the staff was sketchy. Continental breakfast was terrible, vending machines didn't work, the casino/restaurant staff were rude. The casino machines are old. Parking was frustrating.

I was supposed to have a room with the view of the river, a microwave, and fridge, none of what happened! I even offered to pay more for the bigger room as it was my 60th birthday ! They told me they were full but the next days the parking lot was nowhere near full so they lied! They didn't clean our room and said I had to tell them we would like our room cleaned tho nowhere stated that. The staff was great in the casino and breakfast area!! Wednesday night someone had an accident in the pool and the Jacuzzi was dirty. So, not the best stay for our money!

We always look for good value for the price. The lighting could have been better in the bathroom but overall enjoyed the stay. Thankyou.

Attached casino was fun but beer was skunky. Couldn’t drink it which caused us to leave.

the knob pulled off of our shower control valve.

Staff was great - price / value was good for a one night stay in Deadwood, SD

Close to places, yet not right in the middle of everything.
For the money we spent, this was an excellent choice.

Great place.

We stayed here for four nights. I loved the pool, and went for a good one hour soak before going to bed every night. We traveled off season, in October, and it is maybe the best time to visit Deadwood! No crowds, warm and sunny days! I would definitely stay at this place again.

Nice, clean, friendly hotel. Shannon the manager was so nice and accommodating…very helpful. Our room was clean, king bed was a little soft but still had a nice sleep. The shower had nice water pressure and hot water. Hotel was quiet this time of year. Connecting casino had enough slot machines to choose from and paid out well. Players get free on tap drink or wine while playing….that’s a bonus! We didn’t use the pool or hot tub but looked very clean. We did not try the continental breakfast but will next time. Also the Trolly stops in front of the hotel to take you downtown. Very nice stay and will stay again and again. Thank you Super 8

The front desk staff were very friendly, but the hotel is dated and very old smelling. The hot tub was dirty and the breakfast was minimal. Make sure if you are travelling with younger kids and want two rooms, be specific when booking you want rooms on the same floor.

The room was nice. Continental breakfast was marginal. Fairly close to Deadwood but with the cold weather we drove.

Some staff was nice, others seemed annoyed to be checking people in. The housekeepers were extremely nice, but our room never got cleaned and we didnt get new towels, rags, coffee or anything at all. Also the free breakfast was just waffles, toast, cereal and hard boiled eggs and some cinnamon rolls. The price for the hotel was way too much for a very mediocre hotel

Lovely room by the creek and was so reasonably priced. This is our favorite hotel since our trip began and will be recommended to friends.

Room way to small, towels, and linen thin but reasonable clean and newly remodeled

Typical super 8 property. Young man at the front desk did a good job. Room was small And smelled of smoke. Front desk did come and spray deodorizer.

Manager was excellent. Very helpful and explained a lot about Deadwood and attractions. Easy location and parking. Very clean room.

The front desk staff was very friendly. There is a trolly stop at the motel which makes travel downtown very convenient. The balcony on the back of the breakfast room overlooks a creek and it is very nice. The facility is clean, but could use some updating. It is not very accessible for someone with mobility issues. You have to go either up or down short sets of stairs to get to your room.

Could not adjust shower for temperature. Knob just spun. Bathroom sink counter too small to put bathing materials or clothing. Seniors should be aware that luggage will need to be hauled up and down stairs to get to rooms. Refrigerator is 18” high and you have to get on hands and knees to use it. Had to troubleshoot hair dryer electrical to get it to work. Key card for door didn’t work the first time.

Staff is super friendly, helpful and professional. Rooms are nice and clean. Nice pool and whirlpool. Casino and food are right there as well. Trolly brings you downtown. I stay here every time I go to the Deadwood Jam.

Staff is very friendly and helpful. It’s clean and the rooms are spacious and comfy.

Breakfast was terrible. The molk had a weird chemical taste and so did the hard boild eggs. No variety for breakdfast. Beds were not the greatest
1.0
the bed was broken down and we requested another room, however they fixed the broken bed and got the same room.. why this was not discovered by management is unknown. the curtains are kind of tattered as some of the backing that keeps out the light has come off and need to be replaced. did not like that we had to go up a short flight of stairs, then down a like stairs and then up another flight to get to main floor. could smell smoking in hallway to office. we really wonder what renovation has taken place as advertised.

fairly nice and updated, pool and hot tub were on and working which was a change for our travels, nice staff and clean and comfy

Room was very dusty and furniture outdated. Ice machine on other side of our wall. People filling coolers at 5:40am

Good location, clean rooms and property. Unfortunately the Hot Tub jets didn't work so it was like dirty bath water. The pool area is in the main traffic path to the casino, no privacy at all. The best part of the hotel is the back deck patio area near a very peaceful stream. The staff was ok, not super friendly but not rude. The rooms are ok, clean. It's an older property so all in all a decent place to stay.

We would stay there again.

This location was great- the trolley comes right to the front door to take you downtown and the rooms were well-kept. I felt safe staying at this location and the staff was very friendly.

Nice view from the back. 20 min walk to downtown but we enjoyed the scenic walk.
