We love the Taj hotels . This was our second stay at Taj view Agra. It is lovely and a great place to stay when visiting the Taj Mahal. Service was excellent. The roof top bar has stunning views of the Taj and is delightful. Can strongly recommend it.

There is no way this is a 5 star hotel the staff at the desk are extremely rude, the bed was absolutely filthy covered in black hairs from the previous guests and stains on the sheets. The tap water was a musty colour, the room service is hideous the food on offer is absolutely disgusting for the price they charge. The windows look like they haven’t been cleaned in years and the pool water smelt of pee. The only staff that are friendly is the door man and the lady offering welcome drinks. Also be prepared to get filthy looks when you ask for currency exchange that isn’t dollars. The hotel is maximum 3 stars at a push

This is a typical 5 start property. I have stayed in several 5 star hotels in Las Vegas this year. This property was giving the same 5 star feeling/comfort.
However, a few drawbacks have been noticed:
* the size of the room is a bit small, but matching the description.
* air conditioner sometimes brings back stinky air. To me, it smell like the air filtering system is not fully/properly insulated from the outside air.

We booked 2 rooms and requested for 1 room king bed and anothwe wiyh two seperate beds. We also requested for connecting rooms. None of the request was fulfilled which was unexpected.

We were subjected to a hard upsell upon arrival, which resulted in us changing our pool view rooms, to two rooms overlooking the Taj Mahal. The view was a complete disappointment, so don’t bother with it. The pool/ garden view is quite lovely.

The hotel is great! Very accessible to everything. Restaurants, shops and of course Taj Mahal. The staff has been very accommodating. They are all very helpful . The food at the buffet restaurant is just ok maybe the other dine in restaurants beside it serves better foo. I had a massage twice . It was great . I felt rejuvenated . All in all, I would stay at this hotel again if I decide to return to Agra someday.

We had a fabulous stay, thanks to staff at reception, as we were upgraded to a room with a view of the Taj Mahal. All the staff were extremely helpful and accommodating.

This hotel is very pretty. Nice rooms, clean. Close to the Taj Mahal with lots of rides available just outside.
The hotel also allowed us to keep our bags with them until we returned from our Taj tour.

Tajview is a very nice luxury hotel. If you're up for spending a lot of money to stay in comfort during your trip to the Taj Mahal then this is the hotel for you. The restaurant is good. They have a rooftop with a view of the Taj. The facilities are all great, and the staff are very attentive.

It was a very nice room with a view of the Taj Mahal, and we were able to enjoy a luxurious and extraordinary experience. In addition to the very delicious breakfast, we were suddenly given a tour of the kitchen and had a simple experience decorating sweets. The spa was also very nice. The signboard dogs ware also cute and classy. It was the best hotel where it was a waste to move in one night.

Great and attentive staff, especially at the main restaurant. Stayed in junior suite with Taj view which was lovely, spacious enough for 4, and had a beautiful washroom. Breakfast buffet was surprisingly good with fresh made to order dosa and other buffet items, including very good chole bhatare. Kids did not want to leave.

Good hotel with proximity to the Taj Mahal. As with any Taj property, the service is top notch. We stayed during Holi and the hotel arranged several activities for the guests at the hotel. Food was good, particularly in the Indian (non-buffet) restaurant.
Rooms were decent enough. Base rooms were very small, but the junior suites were an excellent size, especially if you get one with a view of the Taj out the window. The building itself looks like it was the premier hotel in the 1980's but hasn't caught up with overall maintenance. The pool was being completely redone whilest we were there so there was a bit of a construction site on the grounds. Gym was very barebones and the fit and fixtures and fine touches of the hotel need updating.

Loved our stay here. Nice hotel, good food and quick trip down the road (driving) to Taj Mahal. Rooftop terrace was nice and even though it was foggy you could still see the Taj Mahal in the distance while eating lunch - without the fog it would have been a great view.

Staff was very friendly and inviting. Roof top restaurant was not much to be desired. Small area, the pollution made it difficult to see and don’t recommend going without a mask. The food was extensively overpriced for local food. Shockingly more expensive than fine dining in other countries. Wines tasted acidic due to no proper temperature storage

The hotel and room were good except the bed which hasn't had a mattress that seems to be old and lost it's firmness. Shower water goes all over the bathroom had to be very careful while using, needs some improvement to arrest the bathroom becoming wet after shower.
The staff, Amit in particular who served us the dinner and the breakfast next day has been extremely courteous and looked after us very well. Others being very polite and dedicated too, they deserve lot of praise.

We had a great experience , Visiting Taj Mahal can be overwhelming with the weather and crowd , but the hotel was a place of peace and calm , our son fell sick and the staff did everything to help him and us, food is good and the View of Taj from Hotel room was real and surreal , they have a shopping centre in same building if you don’t want to step out to buy memorabilia

I cannot say enough good things about the service at this hotel! Every person working there was so positive and helpful! It's the best service we've had anywhere in years. These folks really go out of their way to make their guests happy and comfortable. It's a lovely hotel with great rooms and common areas and delicious Indian food. They arranged everything for us to easily get to and from the Taj Mahal. It was fantastic.

Very comfortable and one of the best hotel in my list. Charming and near to the Taj Mahal. The front desk staff Mr Ali and Ms Bhawna was very helpful. The food is excellent and very family friendly. I would definitely be back.

Wonderful stay, great service, very helpful staff. Very strategically placed for Tajmahal visit. The only problem is not with hotel but with city. Due to metro work, getting in and out of property is difficult as of now
