This place was amazing! The staff was so friendly and recognized me every time I came to eat. I felt safe walking alone even at night. The food was amazing, the spa staff was great, the rooms were beautiful. The game day drives were unbelievable. I loved this place and have to say this was vacation is in my top 3! I can’t express enough how amazing it was.

We absolutely loved our stay at Bakubung Bush Lodge. The food was amazing, the staff were incredible, and the game drives were a real highlight of the trip. Every single member of staff was so friendly, welcoming and helpful — it genuinely felt like being part of one big family rather than staying at a hotel.
The rooms were lovely, comfortable and perfect after long days out on safari. The spa was also excellent and a great way to relax between drives.
We actually loved Bakubung so much that we cancelled the second part of our holiday at another hotel just so we could book an extra night here and come back! That probably says more than anything else could.
An unforgettable experience from start to finish — we would return in a heartbeat.

I would particularly like to mention Victoria & Itumeleng at the front desk. We had an issue with our return transportation to Johannesburg. Victoria & Itumeleng worked tirelessly to ensure we had the transportation at the price we were promised. We really appreciated the help.
