This is a bare bones, older motel. It was ok, the staff weren't super friendly. Our tv wasn't working properly and the person on duty acted like it was a great inconvenience to help us. There was a bit of dirt on the floor in our room when we arrived, and my husband found a previous guests' bra in a corner. There are no elevators, so plan on walking the stairs. It was quiet, beds were comfortable, and the price was cheaper than a lot of Boston.

Clean room with updated bath and no carpet which is a plus. We were in a room by the entry/exit door so the door slamming was annoying and noise from adjacent rooms was too. Thin walls and cracks under and around door. Easy quick drive into Boston. Other than that, a good experience.

The morning staff was very friendly, but the evening staff was not. The room amenities were fine, but there was a punched in hole in the bathroom door, holes in the ceilings, and it was just in need of a lot of repairs. Also instructions on how to work the tv would have been nice. Overall it was fine, but not better than other budget hotels.

The staff was friendly. Check-in went smoothly. The room is clean but in need of repair. The bathroom bowl is misaligned - it shakes when you sit on it. No leaks however. The towel rack is missing - only holes in its place. The door peephole is blocked with tissue paper - I was too scared to touch it.

We traveled overnight and got in at 1am. Front desk service wasn't very welcoming (he seemed angry) and kind of creepy because you could see all the security camera tvs in the back room. That aside, the room was gross. There was a used washcloth on the sink, a hair on the towel and a beer bottle under the bed. The beds were uncomfortable and the tv didn't even work properly. Pass on this one if you can.

Hair and debris on bed. Horrible smell. Air conditioner did not work. Immediately left and they claimed they could not do refund. Disgusting

The entrance has several steps and no ramp to the reception desk, and I stayed on the second floor — there was no elevator. My phone didn’t work. The hotel couldn’t resolve this problem. I talked to another traveler, and her phone also didn’t work. My TV was broken, and so was the remote. The front desk clerk came up and could not fix it. The security box in the room was locked open and the hotel couldn’t fix it immediately because the device they use was not working either. The receptionist said they had no other rooms — they are booked. For a newly remodeled place, the room was in poor condition. The room had no hairdryer, iron or ironing board. I was told that there should be a hairdryer in the room, and I can borrow an iron from the front desk. And, I had to slam the room door to get it to close. Then checking out, I asked the front desk clerk if he wanted to know what was wrong with the room? The response he gave me was surprising. He said, if you want to, it is a newly renovated hotel, and I don’t want to have an argument. He had a nonchalant attitude and did not care to respond to any of my concerns. The good: it is right on a bus line that will take you to Harvard, MIT, and downtown; self parking is free; and I didn’t see signs of roaches or bedbugs.
