Overall very good property for staying walkable distance to beach

Our room was outstanding. Very clean, lovely blinds, clean, clean, clean! The lobby was filthy. None of the icemakers worked. The breakfast table was not to the highest level. Fake eggs garbage containers were stacked to the gills in the kitchen where we ate. Our room was outstanding. Maybe I should put that at the beginning. I’ll do that.

Close walk to beach. They were currently reinventing but it did not mess with our stay. Would stay again .

The door to our room was damaged and you could see into the room. The door appeared as if it had been pried open with a crowbar at some point in the past. The hotel was also under renovation which would have been nice to know prior to booking my room. Will not stay at this hotel ever again.

They were remodeling the lobby area and there was drywall dust everywhere! This was an open area with the breakfast lounge. I had to take my breakfast to my room.as did others. The breakfast was always hot and good, the room was clean. Had we known itthey were re modeling we would have stayed somewhere else.

The hotel was under construction but the rest of conditions was lovely!

Nice staff Location to dining places

My stay was wonderful! From the time I arrived and checked in, the staff was very friendly. My room was nice, fresh & clean, bed was comfortable, and the breakfast was great! Will most definitely be staying here again when I visit destin again.

Check-in was easy, they property is very nice and bed room and bathroom were very clean. Breakfast is provided so thats a plus. Jotel is located in a central area around a lot of shopping and eateries

Our stay was only one night but it was a great location and very convenient. Breakfast was good and staff friendly. Room and lobby clean. Would definitely recommend.

I have stayed at this place 4 times in the last 2 years and have always had a great experience. The staff is always very friendly and accommodating- for example, we got in town early and they let us keep our luggage in a safe place until check in which allowed us to hit the beach, same way with check out they allowed us to leave our stuff until our flight home.

Rooms were super clean smelled like freshly mopped floors when we walked in, hot breakfast was good, biscuits and gravy were very good.

The mattress in room 119 was horrible. I had to get up at 3am and rotate the mattress to sleep away from the sunken center area in the bed. I reported it to the front desk team upon checkout but I have not heard from the property mgr about this stay.

Hotel was nice and close to shopping and restaurants. The room was comfortable with nice decor. The breakfast was very good!! We enjoyed our stay.

Nice place in a nice area. Worth the money

Very close to multiple restaurant options, and lovely beaches. The morning breakfast was hot with good options, and we never felt rushed. Our family loved the stay here and would certainly come back.

Excellent location

I booked two rooms for my stay. One of the rooms was fine. The other was problematic. First, the fridge did not work and there was rust inside of it. The staff did replace it as soon as it was reported but why was it there to begin with? Second, the toilet didn't work. When we went to the front desk to report the problem, it took 40 minutes for a person at the desk to talk to us because the staff was too busy looking at a cell phone. Maintenance eventually came and used a plunger to try to fix the issue but that didn't work. All we could smell was sewage that evening. We we reported the issue in the morning, the lady at the front desk said well why didn't you report it sooner? We said ma'am we did. Third, when we were eating breakfast in the breakfast area, the construction workers doing the remodeling at the hotel were eating with the guests. One of the guys was hesitant to come in to eat which told us he knew that what they were doing was wrong. I had high hopes for this hotel given the reputation of the Holiday Inn. Now, I feel disappointed. I also feel my money could have been spent at another establishment because it wasn't worth it at HI. I will never book a stay with them again.
