Great customer service, clean rooms. Easy check-in. Lovely simple hotel. Our #1 place to stay when visiting family in Lake Forest.

Will not stay here ever again. You can hear everything. It is not sound proof. You can hear people upstairs, beside you and in the hallways all night long. Room was clean and staff was nice, that's it.

We had two different parties of domestic violence!!! One down the hallway when when checked in and one above us all night until after midnight!!!
My daughter had volleyball this morning and the fighters were up pounding their steps at 5am!!!!

The hotel and staff was very nice. The bed was uncomfortable due to the mattress feeling worn out. The maids would come in the room when I was gone but they never made the bed or replenished the shower soap. Other than that it was a good experience and the hotel is in a nice part of town.

The staff & parking were great!!
The room had a very loud echo, the bed was absolutely horrible! Springs were felt and the bed was very rocky with minimal motion. The bathtub stopper was non functional & made a bath (clean or dirty water) every time. The fan in the room was non functioning. Horrible room experience, but the people were nice.

The property was generally fine, except there never was normal hot water, just lukewarm, in the shower during our four day stay despite several mentions at the front desk.

I liked that it was accessible, I didn’t like that I paid for two nights and they didn’t clean my room.

Really nice property, excellent staff, nice clean rooms. A little out of the way from most restaurants and shopping areas. So definitely need a car if staying there. Otherwise, would highly recommend.

If you don't mind a lukewarm shower in the morning, this is the hotel for you. If you like a hot shower ... I recommend elsewhere. Our shower was just not getting hot (after running several minutes). We called to notify the front desk who said they'd send someone up. 10 min later, I called back and they said "nobody answered the maintenance phone" ... so was anyone going to tell me? She offered another room for a shower (which was "just warm enough", but not super hot at max temp). Very disappointing service and facilities just on these points.

The room was dirty with trash on the floor and pills. Looks like they just made the bed and left bread crumbs on the sheets and did changed them after previous occupants. Will not stay here again!!!!

No soap in the Bathroom. I was told the shipment had not come in. So, I had to go to CVS down the street to buy my own. You would think the HILTON could have done that for their guests.
When checking out on morning of 10/2/23, there were 3 Hotel employees behind the desk arguing quite loudly, as Myself and 2 other guests were waiting to check out. Really disturbing.
I mentioned to the Hotel employee checking me out that the Hotel should always provide soap for their guests, as cleanliness is really critical after COVID. I said it twice and she ignored be both times.
Too bad, because other than that, the night time Hotel employee, I think his name was Jake, was terrific and the room was comfortable.

Front desk put a sign up upon arrival “be back”, after a man saw me run in to check in but then use the restroom, he put a sign up and left for 10 minutes?
Took too long to check me in, ignored my license and credit card sitting there, after I asked are you done with these? I got a rude “yes I saw it’s you”. Proceed to my room only to see 3 things, public coffee stop broken, then head to 2nd floor, ice machine broken, heard another” jacuzzi broken”, hallways dated, room ok. Good thing I was only there 15 hours!

Good location. However hotel is showing its age. Construction on outside, black out drape in room broken, room just ok but needs updating and paint.

I had made reservations for friends visiting from out of state. They said the property was nice and clean. No problems.

The exterior of the property was under construction during our stay.
The room floorplan was great - the bathroom was good, however the venetian blinds were broken and you could not lift up the blind and secure it to look out the window. The floors were so dirty that it left big black marks on the bottom of my feet to where I had to wash my feet twice in 2 hours due to the accumulated dirt on the bottom of my feet. Aside from that, everything else was great.

Stay became complicated when i was marked as a no show. Also they were using a duvet as curtain as the actual curtains wouldnt open or close.

We came with a larger group of friends, and they were so accommodating! We were able to do early check-in on both our rooms, and at the end of the night they brought extra blankets as soon as I called. I would definitely stay here again.

The hotel was ok, a lot of construction. The room only had one tras can, had a drape on the window that was very unusual. I asked to have coffee cups delivered to the room with no success, I went to lobby and retrieved some. The lamps in the room were very unusual as the would only point in one direction. The other between the beds. I felt the others lighting was insufficient.

The breakfast was great with wonderful service crew too.
I find one of the old man has behave his job, never wasted his time.

The Hilton Hotel overbooked our room. When my 80 year old husband and myself arrived (I'm 75 years old) after driving for 7 hours on the freeway we were told that the hotel manager had told his night clerk that apparently my credit was rejected and they no longer had a room for us. This was absolute nonsense as I had paid for this room about 2 weeks prior. I was furious especially as this played out in front of others in the lobby. The absolute lie involving the staff is extremely upsetting to us as we come from a generation in which honesty and integrity matter. In the end they gave us a room despite saying they were fully booked because we were being allowed to take it away from some one else who "had not shown up yet". Needless to say that also did not feel good. Because of this I could never recommend this place to anyone and plan never to stay there again. It was a horrible experience for us.

The shade didn’t pull down - broken - had to tape black trash bags on window for privacy - had to ask for shower curtain - very disappointed for price and location

We stayed here for two nights. First we got a room with two queen beds although we booked a king so I went back and they gave us a handicapped room with a king. The room wasn't cleaned well, there was some floss on the floor and bundles of hair. Also webs in the air vent. The coffee maker had some burn residues so we didn't use it but I told the front desk up on check out.
The hotel itself is in a good location, it's pricey but I guess that's average for the area. It has a pool and I have to say the gym was great, all machines work which is usually never the case it seems at some other hotels so big plus.
The front desk team was nice too.
So I say, you can definitely stay there, there is really no major no goes and it's a good location with a nice staff, just let them know to clean and it will be fine.

I spent 2 weeks here for a work trip. Everything was excellent. Staff were super friendly. Pool and hot tub were very nice. The fitness center was great with top of the line clean new equipment. Coffee in the lobby way better quality than any other hotel that I’ve stayed.

The staff did their best and need more support. Carpets were terribly stained. Three lights in my room were broken. No ice on my floor. I expected more for the price and because it was a Hilton. My stay did not reflect your brand.

This property is a challenge. The staff is great, but the property is in limbo. In our room the window shade would not roll up and the solution by staff was to tie up the shade.
The hot tub does not have functional jets. The staff stated the $20k pump has been on order for a long time.
The printer in the business center did not connect remotely although there was a sign stating how to remotely send things to print.
The public restroom on the first floor was filthy with fecal material over the toilet and floor. The poop was there for several hours but not noticed by staff.

We got a handicap accessible room where the shower flooded the entire bathroom, and when we called downstairs to let them know we needed more towels and asked for maintenance to come help us clear the water out of the bathroom, nobody ever came...not housekeeping with towels or anybody in maintenance. The beds were also no comparison as far as comfort to any other Hilton we've ever stayed at, so that was a little disappointing. And the morning staff did not seem to know what they were doing or care too much about what we said happened in the bathroom, I just hope nobody ever has an accident because of all the water that was in the bathroom after the shower because it was literally flooded and we had to clean it up ourselves. And then when we tried to buy two bottles of water as we checked out, but the young girl at the front desk told us that she did not accept cash as payment, so we just left and will never return to that location.

When I arrived at the "Hilton brand" hotel, the front desk told me that my room is gone for the hotel being overbooked!!! Even so, why not let me know in advance?! Additionally, she also told me that the room type in her screen is different from the room type in my printed reservation. What a messy booking system for this hotel!!!
