These guys are especially fantastic. I travel to St. Louis every weekend and was looking for somewhere that would let me bring my pet, had restaurants and public transpo within walking distance, but wouldn't break the bank. Happened upon this place after seeing a nice cash back reward for it on retail me not. Gave it a chance and have been back every weekend ever since. The good: It's right by Cracker Barrel, Dairy Queen, Taco Bell, and a 24 hour gas station. Vending machines in the lobby. It's a 3 minute walk from a bus stop and even tho that bus doesn't run on Sundays, worst case scenario it's a little over a mile from the bus terminal and I'm fine to walk. They always handle check in quickly and professionally, and even frequently give me the same room as previous stays. They've been very generous and patient with me when I needed last-minute early/late check in/outs. The area is safe for a woman walking alone, even late at night. Never had issues with noisy or rude guests. The floors are not carpeted anywhere, but I prefer the hardwood. The bad: It's missing some basic amenities. No toiletries except a bar of soap. No hairdryer. The big one: no alarm clock. So no clock in the room other than my phone. And they knock to clean before check out, which makes me feel rushed. Last time my they ok'd a late check out (left @11:37) but had knocked 3 times by then to see if I was ready yet. But overall I'm very happy there & highly recommend it.

When I arrived at this location it is temporarily closed for renovations. I can’t seem to get anyone to take care of refunding me for a stay that didn’t happen and why didn’t the management with motel 6 inform 3rd party reservation companies about the closure. I think that’s fraud

The hotel was closed without any word to me. I reserved the room for the night of January 8th back in November. Only way I found out it was closed was whrn I arrived at 8pm then had to find another hotel.

The water was out the entire time. We were not called ahead of time with this information. Cigarette burns on the comforter. Musty smell in room.

Didn’t get the room we reserved because of heating issues. Listened to shop vacuum all night because room next door flooded. Came back to hotel and hotel flooded and was told we had to leave

For a Motel 6 with property was updated and very clean. It would have been nice to have a refrigerator and a chair to sit in besides the plastic desk chair or sitting on the bed. But overall it was clean, quiet and reasonably priced

This property is terrible, it looks deserted the staff wasn't courteous when i walked in he just looked at me and went on doing his laundry, finally he decided to ask me what i wanted , then he gave me the worst room asked me to put a card on file for incidentals i said you guys don't have anything in the room why would there be a charge for that ? The room was dirty the bedspread had holes in it. I asked for another room he's telling me that's all he has and I'm like sir your parking lot is empty you have better rooms ....... the worst experience i have ever had

The staff was very friendly. Our room was dirty. There was a dead bug on the wall by the toilet, The room smelled like an ash try (it was a no smoking room). There was two regular sheets on the bed, no fitted sheet and there was trash under the bed. The TV was not working right, it had nine weight lights shinning in picture.

The gal at the front desk was extremely nice during check in. We chatted a bit and we asked if we could have a late check out and she said we could stay until noon. The room was about what we expected for a budget motel. The bed was comfortable, but the towels were like tiny pieces of sandpaper. Absolutely awful! There was no fridge or microwave which was surprising. Shortly after 11 the next morning, the housekeeper knocked. We told them we had a late check out and they said ok and left. About 20 minutes later, there was another knock from housekeeping. We told them the same thing. Then the front desk called 2 times after that. Please don't agree to a late check out and then harrass the guests. It's bad business!

The room they put us in had a nasty bathroom (feces in the toilet, towels all over the floor). They promptly put us in another room. The beds were clean, but extremely uncomfortable. No microwave or refrigerator in our room as stated when we booked it. I would not stay here again.

Horrible. Place had a rancid smell. Everything in the room was dirty. People yelling and banging on doors all night long. I did not feel safe there with my toddler. And management didn’t seem to care. And I still haven’t gotten my $100 hold refunded. This place looks and feels like a flop house. Worst hotel experience ever.

It was a disaster from the moment i walked in ..first off the desk guy says i didnt have a conformation i showed him my confirmation number then tried to make me pay again had to show my receipt where i had paid .then he kept telling me itd be awhile cause my room wasnt confirmed .then we finally got into a room we got all unpacked went to go eat and the door wouldnt shut .so i went back out there and told him the door wouldnt close so he came tried to close the door .so he puts us in another room. My friend has to take meds at night for sleep so she was laying down well i took a shower came out and said i think im gonna get some chips so i grab a key card and just enough money for my cheetos and closed the door .came back and of course my key card wouldnt work again so i had to go bother him again he came tried it wouldnt work tried the master key wouldnt work now mind u my friend is in this room asleep he tells me i have to get her up i said she wont wake up she takes sleeping meds and he made me bang on the doors and go around and bang on the window and still couldnt wake her ..so he grabbed keys no luck the door would not open so he tells me i have to wait til midnight whensee if he could open it ..now i went there to get rest cause i had to be in st louis for surgery at 530 am .....he made me sit out in the lobby with nothing til the guy got there to try to open the door by this time im in tears ..needless to say i finally got in my room at 100am and look up theres no s

I suppose you get what ypu pay for. Was a cheap reservation so wasnt expecting much but geez what a dump. The room would been decent if I felt like anyone had actually cleaned it. Several of the "clean" towels in the bathroom were straight up dirty and one had a nice chunk of hair in it when i opened it. There was also a wet rag hanging on the bar still. Its like they tried to reuse some of the towels from the previous occupant. The toilet paper roll was very low and obviously hadnt been swapped out. The toilet had issues flushing at first but was able to get it figured out eventually. I think they have 2 ice machines in the whole building. The 1st floor one was almost always empty, and when i tried to go to the 3rd floor, the elevator would only go to 2. I tried several times to get from 1 to 3 or 2 to 3 and it would not go up. I let them know about it several times. The weather wasnt nice enough to swim but the pool also looked green and filthy like it also hadnt been maintained or cleaned in awhile. I wouldnt have let my kids swim in that slimy green water anyways. The room itself was fine and would have worked for what we needed if the overall cleanliness of the hotel wasnt so filthy.

The area in which the motel is located is fast becoming unsafe. There were no towel replacements or straightening of the bed sheets. No in room refer, ironing board, kleenex, or complimentary breakfast. Rates are comparable to area motels but amenities are lacking.

Just needed a place to sleep for about 8 hours. Heavy police presence when we arrived, though no indication of why. Drunk guy in the lobby yelling about active shooters (being the reason for the police). A/C made a horrible rattling sound, so couldn’t use it. Walls, sheets, pillows, towels, all paper thin. Terrible water pressure in bathroom sink. Bathroom was nice - looks like they recently renovated. Dirty smears on the light switch. You can hear everything going on in the hotel and outside - I had to use my white noise app on my phone just to get some sleep. Didn’t expect much. Got what I expected.

It was clean and pleasant. TV I think is going on the blink, it had white dots showing up on the screen. Could use a hair dryer in the bathroom. I would recommend this motel to anyone for a good nights sleep

Smelled bad. Wrong crowd. A hang out spot for rowdy adults it seems. Rude and unprofessional staff. Owned by Indians and they were not welcoming at all made plenty of mistakes the only one who seemed to care was the American who they clearly talked to her with little respect. I left and went to a whole different area and hotel with all my kids at midnight and demanded a refund from Expedia and the hotel as well. Was told they have a mice infestation

Convenient location. Fast check in and check out. Didn't like is no microwave, refrigerator, clogged bathtub, not big enough towels, no shampoo or soap. I won't go back.

This was the dirtiest and most unfriendly place I have ever stayed Had to ask for another room due to first room smelling so bad the second room not much better; my brother and his friend had 2 nights but after the first they didn’t go back because their room was so bad…the whole hotel stunk Also when I asked for another room the girl at the desk became very unfriendly and instead of handing me my new room key she just dropped it down on the counter top

The entire place had a disgusting humid smell. Sheets were dirty with hair definitely not mine, stained and dusty towels, and the cherry on top: I woke up with a slug crawling on top of my bed. Do yourself a favor and just book somewhere else.
