The room was fine. The front desk for the first night was great. We added a night through hotels.com, however, that was not communicated to the staff the next day even though I check to make sure things were good, and my husband went the next morning to request maid service. We came back that night to find that we were locked out and they didn't clean the room. The clerk didn't offer apologies, just reasons why they did what they did. She did get us into the room and offered her broom for us to sweep the room. I need to watch our credit record to make sure there are no additional fees, I am not convinced that it was corrected in their system.

April 2024. Holes in the bed cover. One bed up against a wall. The other bed up against the air conditioner under the window. Toilet ran. No shampoo available. No one at the front desk in the morning when looking for assistance. For $46 this might be acceptable, but rooms cost $140 when passing through after the eclipse.

You can't beat the price. Several loud cars and one eviction happened during my stay. If you want to save money this is the place. Perfect for those just passing through. I'd stay here again ( and have) but then I'm a cheap azz guy always looking for a deal.

I traveled for about 5 hours. Stoped at this motel for a room. This is my 2nd time staying here. I would have much rather had a bottom floor considering that half of the motel was empty but was told I had to ask when booking online and that I may not be able to get receive it either way. . So kinda a con for me. 2ndly the last time I stayed a fridge was available but this time there was not a fridge in the room. I travel with food and drinks so that was another con. Lastly the water took so long to get hot before showering. I want to say about a good 10 mins. I will not be staying here again.

Very terrible service especially from check in to check out…. I’m driving cross country for work and needed to stop for me and my families safety. I waited 30 mins to check in after I already booked the room due to no staff being on property… went into the room and there was trash under the bed, shower was leaking terribly and front door does not completely close. Needed an additional towel to “mop” up the water on the bathroom floor froo ok m the leaky shower, but again no one at front desk with the same sign up …did not want to wait an additional 30 minutes just for a towel so I went and dug into my moving truck to grab a personal towel to mop up the floor. Was hoping to get coffee and front office was locked up with the sign still up, I’m very disappointed only good thing about this location is the distance from the I 10.

Motel 6 was never intended to be Ritz Carlton, so FIVE STARS. Friendly staff, safe and quiet. I will stay there again next time I’m in the Fort Stockton area

Booked the room on line. Showed up to a young couple standing in the lobby with a child. They told me they had been there 20 minutes and no one was at the desk. The deck had a “be back in 15 minutes” sign in the window.
The couple took their business elsewhere, but my room was already paid for. Contacted hotels.com, they made several attempts to contact the hotel before booking me elsewhere.

I booked a room as i was traveling from Las Vegas to Houston Texas.. when i entered the room it was smelling weird.. and then went to take shower it was broken i told hotel staff about it she gave me different room but this room ac making lots of noise and the room lock is also broken this is the worst motel I've stayed in

There were no sheets on the bed. No towels. It looked like housekeeping started to get it ready then just forgot it. The front desk was rude. Last time i stayed there it was great not this time.

I arrived and despite having a reservation already made, as they did not have a system or internet, I could not check in. Instead of arriving and resting, I arrived and had to wait until almost 11 pm to check in. That day there was no internet so one more disadvantage, since they offered wi-fi and they didn't really offer it. The next day literally from 9 am to 3 pm I was insisting on calling the office and absolutely no one answered, I wanted to call to get the internet password. I went down to the lobby on three different occasions with the intention of asking for it in person and there was only a sheet that said there was no one and they left a sheet with the phone number that they did not answer either. On the website you can see that it has a pool, forget it, it's empty. And I hope they don't go to the bathroom very often because they only give them a roll of paper and no one comes in to clean the room or put in paper if you don't ask for it, the problem is that you won't find anyone to ask for it either. Finally at 5pm I found someone at the reception who could give me the password. The place is not bad but it could definitely be cleaner. But what was totally horrible was the bad service and attitude of the people during the stay. If your intention is to get to rest, probably if you can, but do not expect a pleasant stay.

The motel computer was not working and the owner couldn’t check in any guests nor could not get the cash register to open: so no registration by phone and no cash register by who ever wanted to stay. This was according to the clerk on duty and the manager was not available to help as he was out of town.

I knew staying at a motel 6 wasn’t going to be a luxury experience but it was worse than I thought. I arrived at 11pm, when I got there no one was at the desk, door was locked and there was a sign that said internet was down and no one could be checked in. Another sign said “management on property call number for assistance”. I called the number 3 times and it went to voicemail each time. So I sat in the car for 30 minutes until an employee pulled into a parking spot and walked inside. I walked back in and wasn’t acknowledged until I said something.

They had the air conditional on when we arrived, the room was clean and cool. The room keys were ready. Great customer service.

Someone hit my car at this hotel parking. They don't have enough cameras for their customers. This hotel has security issues, highly unsafe. I would strongly recommend to not go to this place with kids.
Only camera is at front gate. My car repair going to cost me 1200 USD.
How come in 2023, hotel is having only 1 camera for entire hotel.

Door didn’t fully shut and had been kicked in at some point as evident from the ill fit in the frame and the repositioning of the deadbolt. Air conditioner was extremely noisy but worked well to keep the room cool. Under the bed was super dirty and doesn’t get cleaned, floor was a bit dirty so couldn’t walk without shoes on. Front desk clerk was kind and friendly. Check-in was quick and effortless. Overall it was a great price and was ok. Bed was comfortable and seemed clean.

The door doesnt stay shut, rust and mold in the bathroom, and online said refrigerator and microwave which neither are in the room.

The grounds were littered with trash and dog poop. Pool full of disgusting brown water and not in use. Lot of flies and bugs in room. Room itself and cleanliness was OK, bed comfortable. Attention to detail here obviously lacking by ownership.

View of lime hills, local plants and their scent, Wallmart in 5 minutes walking, good bedding, good bathroom. Very friendly staff!

The photo of the motel when looking it up is nothing like what the motel is. The sheets on the bed looked used from the night before and the towels were old and not fresh looking. There was no shampoo and only one small bar of soap, with no glasses or coffee maker in the room. The air conditioner did not run smoothly or continuously. It kept turning on and then shutting off. And the door to the room had cracks around it that any bug could get through. And it was very noisy where you could hear what was going on outside or upstairs.
There was no lobby or reception area and the property was a shambles. The pool was green and full of algae and probably not used in a very long time (or cared for).
And there was no grass or area to sit except on broken chairs and a table. There were weeds everywhere instead of grass. The dog got stickers in her paws just walking to the car. It was very unappealing and dirty looking.
We stayed long enough to take a short nap and had to leave. I hope we didn't bring home any bed bugs or lice.
