A lot of foot traffic in the hallway day and night. Could hear people talking outside the door at all hours.

Stayed for 6 days in a room with 2 twin beds, refrigerator and a microwave. Nice laminate flooring. Beds were comfortable. My pillows seemed to be feather, which I love. Staff were very kind and helpful. This is located near mid-town of Anchorage central to everything and near International Airport Road to get back and forth to the Airport quickly.

I made a last minute trip after previous plans had fallen through. I arrived late at night in Anchorage without a reservation. I have the Hotels.com app on my phone so I checked for a reasonable price in a safe neighborhood. I’d stayed at this particular Motel 6 before and knew it to fit my requirements. The woman at the desk was friendly and efficient and I was soon in my room. It was clean, quiet, and the bed was comfortable. I am happy to recommend this hotel.

I stayed after a long day snowboarding and I turned the water on to take a shower and let it run for almost 10 minutes and it still didn’t get hot. Freezing cold. I tried to call the front desk with the room phone 4 times but not once time did it connect, instead just gave me a busy signal (I was 1 of 2 cars in the parking lot so it was extremely slow). I called on my cell phone seconds later and it rang through. When I told the lady I didn’t have hot water, she told me I’d have to let it run for 15-20 minutes since it’s so cold outside. I live in Alaska. I have never, ever had that experience before and I have stayed at so many hotels and airbnbs. She wasn’t rude, but she was also not apologetic at all.

The staff always responded to the need for new key cards, unfortunately it was 7 different times. A bit annoying to have to return to the desk so many times but the staff was always polite and accommodating

Very basic room. No shampoo, conditioner or lotion in the room. Most importantly: No in room coffee maker! Old looking furniture in room. The water pressure and temperature were awful! They appear to be updating the rooms in stages, still work to be done. Would not stay here again.

It was clean, our room air control worked well. The couple we were with had problems with their heat. The front desk staff brought in a portable heater for them to use and the next day while we were all at it was fixed. I am impressed by that responsiveness to the problem. Three bath towels for the shower instead of the typical 2 that a lot of places do.

The room was small, but clean. We arrived late and only spent one night because we were going on a cruise the next day. If I had stayed more than one night I would have picked a different hotel with larger rooms and closer to areas of interest for sightseeing.
