Ash runs this small motel made famous by U2's visit while making "Joshua Tree". It's a real oasis in the desert and comes highly recommended. Ash is super friendly and helpful.

Loved our stay at the Harmony Motel. Comfortable, clean rooms and a full kitchen too! Close to the north entrance of Joshua Tree National Park.

It's an aged motel but the rooms are well kept, clean, comfortable and have character. Really nice pool and views of the desert. Apparently U2 stayed in room #4 when writing the album Joshua Tree - that's pretty cool and it was a good album. Just on the outskirts of 29 Palms so it's in a good location for a peaceful evening and night's sky. The staff member on duty was great and very helpful also the manager was nice and accommodating. Would recommend when staying in the area - only 10-15 minutes or so from Joshua Tree National Park entrance.
