Quite a nice motel with spacious room and comfortable bed. Quiet and secure, convenient to shopping, gas & food. Good wifi, fridge, microwave. Suburban environment about a half hour's drive from downtown Detroit.

Spent 2 days and got harassed nonstop by them. Not only did they call and tell us our radio was on too loud they called and yelled at us when we weren’t even in the hotel room in the first place. Also we complained about the room not having buttons on the heater/ac they didn’t put us in another room they also wouldn’t refund our stay after they harassed us enough where we left at 1am on our last night stay. We were quiet the whole time. Never stay at this place. They were rude

5 stars for cleanliness great for the price. Staff at check in didn’t seem to helpful had trouble finding my room number she didn’t even tell me anything just handed me the Room key and said your all seems like they could be a little more accommodating to customers than that.

Wonderful motel to stay at. We booked rooms here while we visited the Eloise Asylum Haunted House Tour. Check in was fun with the friendly check in person. The rooms were clean and spacious. The gas fireplace was unexpected but very nice. Too bad is wasn't colder! Would definitely stay again if in the area and would certainly recommend to others.

The room was super hot and humid, they have a AC unit in the room, but, rigged where you can't turn it on, as if, they're trying to monitor your electric usage...there is a fan, a very small one, it's not even centered in the middle of the room, so, depending on where you're sitting/standing you can feel it...there's a king size bed, that's accompanied by 2 small pillows, meant for a twin size bed...the towels looked really used, yes white/clean but, shredded as in used to much bleach, and worn...if you have no other option, like me, something down the street from my job, only needed to sleep for a few hours...then, ai suppose you coupd do much worse...but, if staying for a date nite/romantic getaway, I recommend going elsewhere.

modernized old hotel with unsecured access listed as a ‘lodge’. windows wouldn’t lock; holes in bedspread - didn’t even bother getting underneath it. contemplated leaving before i even checked in.

Lodge is code word for motel. AC unit needed updating. Cable was out most of the one nite visit. Jacuzzi tub was best feature bathroom was adequate. Room was on street level and you were privy to various noises outside. Wouldn’t pay $170 for a motel again, however, the jacuzzi was the draw for me.

When we checked in, it took a few minutes for the person to come to the front desk. They seemed very friendly though. As we entered the room, I noticed that the "clean room sticker" was broken, but didn't really think anything of it. After we went in, my spouse used the restroom and commented that there wasn't any soap. So when I used the restroom, I took the soap from the tub. While I was in there, someone entered our room with a key. My spouse spoke with him. He left. We went to lock the safety locks and noticed it was broken. Next, I pulled back the covers as I always do upon check-in and discovered that the bedding was gross and that the sheet protectors underneath were even worse. So we called the front desk: no answer. We walked back to the front desk and told the woman what happened. She insisted that we "heard" an employee cleaning another room. We continued to explain that someone walked in and that we wanted a room where the safety chain worked. She told us that they decomissioned them all, that none of the rooms had safety chains, and that they had no intention of replacing them. I asked for my money back as we had paid on arrival and was told I would need to contact Hotels.com for the refund. Very unhelpful.

I really enjoyed my stay at this motel. My room was spacious, clean, quiet and secure...even a bit luxurious especially the bathroom). The property itself was well-maintained and attractive. Good wifi, fridge & microwave, even a functioning gas fireplace. The bedding was crisp and the bed very comfortable. I intend to stay here again in the future.

The jetted tub was great, the staff was pleasant and understanding. That was really about all that was good about this place. There was no a/c in the room and only a tiny ceiling fan. There was a thermostat, but it was locked and turned off. The walls were thin, we could hear the upstairs occupants walking around and talking. The floors were uneven and bumpy. The window in the bathroom was open when we arrived and would not lock when we closed it. The T.V. wouldn't go any lower than 30 for the volume. The fireplace wasn't working. The bed was stiff and uncomfortable. The two pillows we were given were flat. The towels were stiff and rough.

Friendly reception, room was clean and actually matched the photos online. Marble and tile bathroom was also nice. Only thing missing was an alarm clock or clock in the room but great value and price.

Needed a cash deposit for the room of 50 dollars and was in a sketchy area. Uncomfortable beds with small pillows. Room was clean

The jacuzzi room was very cold. We spent 3 nights. Hair was in the tub. A bell rung every time we left out. The blanket was flimsy ,we had to buy our own..The room had a bad smell..no coffee maker..which is basic for most hotels.

I NEVER leave reviews. I HAVE to leave this. Drove 8 hours with two sons. Got in late. Rang doorbell to get into tiny lobby. Front desk tried to buzz me in but nothing was happening and looked annoyed with me like I was doing something wrong. She finally hit the right button and let me in. During check in told me they needed to hold onto $20 bucks in case of damages. I say that I don’t have cash and didn’t read anything about it and with more annoyance let us move on. Finally got room key. Would not work. The door was frozen shut and lock broken. Walked back, in the cold, three different times for them finally to suggest an apartment they have. Get to this random appt. on site and it has zero heat. There’s a space heater in middle of front room with hotel bed in corner. Cable doesn’t work. No towels. The smell of old food or rot is all over the place. There’s a can of road sprayer on a shelf. It looks like someone’s house, turned into a hotel. Someone’s house that had bugs at some point. There was one room upstairs that had heat. The vent was taped over but it looks like they tore a hole in it for us. It blows my mind they found this adequate for a guy and his two sons to sleep in. Especially overhearing them say to someone on the phone that they had a room with a jacuzzi?!?!? I was homeless for a few years in my life. This was literally one step up from that. It had lights and water. 0/10. Would not recommend.

Large clean room but the lightning was poor. The bathroom was fine except the toilet should have a lid so things do not fall into it. Also the shower was vey slippery.

I LOVE the decor of the rooms, the wood floor, the brick walls. Everything was so clean. The only thing I would suggest is to have an iron and iron board in the rooms. I did switch to the Jacuzzi room on my second day but it was not working

The property was very clean and well maintained with lots of flowers, plants and decor. The room was clean. However there was an overwhelming (scent), perhaps sandalwood? It was just too much so we aired out the room and cleaned the air conditioning filter and it seemed to help a bit. Other than that we will stay again.

First time in myrtle beach. Room was filthy. Beds were broken and uncomfortable. No trash can. Had roaches. Would not recommend to stay here. Only plus was the proximity of hotel to beach.

The room was freezing and you can't adjust the temperature. The TV is by the tub, you can't see it from the bed because the post from the tub is in the middle of the TV screen. They locked the remote so you couldn't turn the volume below 30. When we ran the microwave the breaker flipped and the TV wouldn't work after they flipped it back on. They have a coffee maker in the office and you have to ring a bell for a cup and a coffee portion. They have an ice machine in the office but no buckets to use. They made us stand outside in the cold while they cleaned the room instead of just offering housekeeping. It was a miserable stay.
