Words can’t explain how much we fell in love with this hotel. From the staff, the food, surrounding areas, everything was fantastic! For starters, the hotel is completely gated with 2 point security, so we left extremely safe. There is a mall inside the gated area as well along with a few restaurants so it was perfect for nights when we wanted to grab something quick to eat. Uber is available and are very quick with arrival time. If you love taking pics, this is the place for you. There are tons of photos opps in almost every corner! Lovely place and will definitely stay again when visiting Kenya!

The Tribe is beautifully located in the Gifiri district convenient to great shopping and amazing restaurant. I am especially excited that they now have the Kaya Spa onsite and it is lovely. A shout out to many of my favorite staff including Phillippe and Purity at Jiko Restaurant!

Like the location and the ambiance. Very close to the village market. Safe to walk around. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good. We will definitely stay there again.

The front office staff and the bellhops are super helpful, very friendly and knowledgeable. Real key to the client service experience here. Francis was great. Really lovely and quiet hotel. Tasty and wide variety of food options - pricy though. Great amenities and facilities. Our bathroom in room 502 was smelly at times though as the drain vent let in air. We didn’t receive our VIP Access gifts or amenities. I just remembered that we were entitled to these when prompted to do this review. A reminder at the hotel would have been nice. We are happy with our overall experience.

Tribe is a great hotel in a safe part of Nairobi with Village Market next door, which has so many great dining options and a supermarket and plenty of other shops, as well as a Masai market on Fridays.

I was charged a deposit with Expedia and the hotel pretended like I wasn’t and I had to pay the full amount. In the end I was charged the correct amount but they could have better explained how the deposit/card hold with Expedia works. As many people use Expedia, the front desk staff should be better educated on how it works so they can clearly explain it to guests. I wasted time with the hotel and Expedia figuring it out. Otherwise, great location, beautiful place and good food.

Had been wanting to stay here for years after previously living in Nairobi. It did not disappoint! Staff were all wonderful, especially Erick at the security / lobby area. Location is fantastic. Will hopefully be back again!

I stayed here after staying at best western in the city. Tribe was a getaway from the city and safari life and a good reload luxury time right before going back home. The service was superb, beyond my expectations and food was delicious! I am telling everyone to go here and most definitely get a spa treatment. The only thing I would say is don’t use their shuttle service. We were charged 80usd to go to the mall which is an uber ride of 5-8 usd

While at my stay at Tribe, which was a recommendation from Nomadness Travel Tribe, I had a luxurious experience. It was a break from the busy city of Nairobi and Safari adventures. It was place to wine down and celebrate my hubby’s birthday. Thanks to Philip, Grace, housekeeping, reception, security, the shuttle drivers, everyone who made us feel safe, welcomed and appreciated. We will be back soon.

The hotel is nice and staff helpful. Unfortunately my room 605 was very noisy and also there were 2 evenings where the tribe had noisy events - wedding/ party. A boutique hotel the size of tribe cannot affort to have such events - it means guest cant sleep.

Tribe is great and proximity to UN and Village Market can't be beat. Room was very comfortable and spacious but room was a little tired - one or two dings that needed to be repainted etc. Gym is good but small if there is more than one person using the weights.
