I'm a landscape photographer and I go to Astoria a few times a year. Most of the time I stay here. Since I'm just looking for a place to sleep, and maybe shower - it works. The shower pressure is good. It's sparse, but for the money you can't beat it. It's near food trucks, the boardwalk, and downtown. The gal at the counter was extraordinary! I met a friend there and asked for our rooms to be near each other and she moved things around to accomodate us. She was very cheerful checking in, and checking out.

Economy hotel for a low price. Got what I paid for, not much except a small cup of coffee in the lobby.

This motel is right on the Columbia River and there are rooms with a nice view of the like 3-4 mile bridge spanning the river. Nice motel 6 with a microwave and fridge in the room.

Very Clean EXCEPT the light switch at the bathroom sink had chocolate (or ???) smeared on it.

Was completely fooled by the reviews. Was completely locked in the bathroom due to a faulty door handle. Ants in all of the corners (also the bed). Looked like someone was murdered and the bloody body was dragged out the front door leaving what looked like a blood smear. We didn’t even stay the night sadly.

Much to my surprise this was a great stay. Room was super clean, staff was friendly and helpful. Nice place for a short trip/getaway. I'll for sure be booking here next time!

We were disappointed. They said pillow top mattress, that was far from it. The toilet ran all night. Even with the curtains closed, we couldn’t sleep because the light was straight into our faces. Then we had people come back and forth screaming that started at 11:30 pm. Then find out we couldn’t even make coffee in the room because the staff said people steal them.

Front desk staff was very helpful and friendly. The room met my needs very well. I used to work in house cleaning, and I did notice the bathroom didn’t get a full servicing. Issues were very minor, floor not clean, TP not triangled, but tub and toilet were clean.

It’s close by where I need to be tomorrow so it’s convenient. The room was clean and prepared for my arrival. I got to park in front of my room. Bonus points.

Refused to make a requested change regarding ground floor and no manager available. No shampoo or conditioner, no blow dryer. Room had a “hill” and the floor was slanted. Stairs and upper walkway felt unstable and slanted downward so appeared unkept. Guest from another room urinated on a stairway that was near dumpster area- sketchy. Pillows were flat and bed was not comfortable at all.

Everything was right. The area wasn t so friendly. But it was nice for two nights. It s worth the view of Astoria Bridge at sunrise.

Average affordable stay with my husband and our son. The room was clean, the cleaner for the rooms was tad overwhelming odor. The guest that evening very noisy late at night and early in the morning. Great view worth the extra money spent to see the cargo ships and bridge.

Staff was unavailable for help. We were staying there after a wedding with a large group of folks. It was after midnight which is late but there was no staff available when some of our groups’ room keys wouldn’t work. Had to double up in some rooms which was really annoying.

Well I had booked Thursday and Friday night I tried to cancel with the motel they told me that I had to cancel thru Expedia I contacted Expedia and they were unable to contact the motel 15 minutes after I talked to them. So I got a call on Thursday confirming my Reservation. I was told at the Motel when I got there on Friday that my reservation had been canceled due to No Show and they would refund that to my card and I would have to pay at a higher rate for the room for Friday Night and Pay Again. My card was never refunded since it had been replaced due to an ATM eating my card. So I paid for 3 nights and Stayed there for 1 night

The rooms were clean, minimal furnishings (no couch, blow dryer, coffee maker). Has a nice view or Astoria bridge and the Columbia River. No maid service until after 3 days.

Loved that this location was so close to everything, being at city’s center. Also, the rivers’ beautiful bridge is located right out back of the property. Good place to stay with my dogs and give them a walk along the rivers edge. Only thing was the mattresses are in terrible shape. One of the beds was so sunk in, it was uninhabitable. (the dogs didn’t mind it) Other than that, the room and property is clean and convenient, equipped with friendly staff.

The good.... The staff were amazing. The rooms are clean, no extra charge for my fur babies, The bad.... The swimming pool needs to be fixed, the beds are as stiff as sleeping on boards lol needs a little better communication between staff. ( but the maid was very helpful, and the gentleman at the front desk was very helpful.) Soda machine is way over priced. I really only had one issue with staff and that's when I was checking out. She was more worried about her personal phone call then the customer service.

When we arrived at the hotel, we found lots of damage throughout the room. It was old and rundown. There was hair in the bed/pillows and in the bathroom. The bed felt like a sheet of plywood. We were able to hear the neighbours through the walls. Would not recommend at all.
