Very large room, with desk, couch, chair, large bathroom, sizable vanity, full-length mirror, refrigerator, microwave, and other amenities. Excellent staff. Breakfast wasn't outstanding, but was good. The only real negative was sound penetrating one night from loud people in an adjoining room- who fortunately checked out the following day.

Breakfast here is not spectacular with less options than at other hotels but does feature hot items: scrambled eggs, a meat option, salty Jimmy Dean breakfast sandwiches, and oatmeal. The poor attendant was overwhelmed by the crowd - I found a near empty buffet at 7:40am. There weren't even enough utensils. One attendant for the busy holiday is not good for guests. The bed was not uncomfortable. However, I noticed on my first night that the bedding, including the pillows, on one side of the bed was wrinkled as if slept on, had stray hairs and one crumb (it looked like a dried grain of cooked rice). The other side was nice and smooth just like what I would expect of a bed with fresh sheets and pillow cases. Maybe housekeeping thought the prior guest didn't use the bed enough to warrant changing the sheets. I just slept on the fresher side, but this really shouldn't happen. The "gym" was much smaller than the size of my guestroom and had two treadmills and an elliptical. There is a side entrance with pigeons sitting on the lights just above the door. The doormat was covered in bird turd, and the pigeons go crazy when you open the door - use other side entrances. The hotel did not clean the turd during my stay. A fresh pile joined the one I hopped over on the first night. I travel a lot and love staying in less swanky hotels that cater to business travelers. To its credit, the hotel was quiet for sleep. However, this was the ickiest hotel experience I've had in a long time.

Overall good. Breakfasts in the morning are identical each morning. Parking fees came as a surprise seeing $10 charged per night stay. But otherwise good location and proximity to the Joshua Tree National Park North Entrance.

The breakfast was sad. No knives, no forks, no yogurt, the sandwiches ran out, then the milk ran out. Many people crowding around the serving area the minute food was brought over. Hotel also charged for parking even though this is in the middle of nowhere with lots of parking. Premium rates for glorified camping.

This hotel is the best option for a base in Twentynine palms to explore Joshua Tree National Park. It has friendly staff, convenient parking, nice rooms, and complimentary breakfast each morning.

Overall experience was not great for this pre-Thanksgiving trip. Several issues: 1) the hotel was very short-staffed, even though they knew ahead of time that it was fully booked. 2) There was "free breakfast" but by 8:30am they had run out of everything so 30+ guests were all waiting around to find a staff member to ask if they were going to replenish the food and the utensils and cups. 3) For my room, the shower never got hot enough for me to have a satisfying shower each night. 4) Just like others have mentioned, the walls are thin and you could hear conversations from the next room and people in the hallways very clearly. On the positive side, 1) all the hotel staff were all really friendly once you could find them, 2) free parking and free breakfast (albeit just toast and orange juice because they ran out of everything else) was still pretty nice, 3) the location is great, next door to Grocery Outlet and only a 5-min drive to the Joshua Tree National Park North Entrance.

Check in and check out were quick and staff was very friendly. Room was older, but very clean. SUPER comfortable mattress and pillows. You can hear the people talking in the rooms on the other side of the wall; we heard loud snoring from the other room all night. But staff can’t help thy. The lady preparing breakfast was an incredibly hard worker. We were very pleased with our stay and would highly recommend to others.

The location was convenient for the venue of our daughter's wedding. Unfortunately, the hotel itself is very old, with old worn out furniture and a lumpy bed. With taxes we paid $327.65 per night which would have been fine if this was a typical Marriott.

Close to the Joshua Tree National Park it’s good location to rest for a night if you’re planning to stay 1-2 days . Location wise close to Cabazon outlets and the Morongo casino. It’s an hour to Palm spring . Breakfast choices that not many I wish they could have more.

Stayed in this hotel for 3 nights. The rooms are large, clean and the beds are good. Supermarkt across the street and Joshua Tree NP within 10 minutes. I can only recomment this hotel to eveybody who is looking for the perfect hotel to stay when visiting Joshua Tree NP.

The staff were great, and the rooms are clean. However, the walls are paper thin. You will hear everything within 5 or 6 rooms. I heard both sides of a phone conversation coming from a room near mine. I also enjoyed waking up to a horrible screeching noise at 3am that might have been in the pipes. This property needs a little work.

The Fairfield was a nice place to stay, it was convenient to entry into Joshua Tree. The room was spacious and clean and the beds were comfy. The breakfast was pretty good and well stocked. I would definitely stay here again.

i adored the employees, really kind and helpful. the location is great if you’re staying to adventure joshua tree. the hotel is also suuuuper conveniently located near lots of shops, restaurants and gas stations.

We were on a trip from out of state with our family and planned on doing laundry using their facilities. Sadly found out they were out of service. Also, didn’t see anywhere in hotels.com that there was a parking fee, the place was dead and we had to pay to park.

There was no remote control for the TV and the one they brought us later was only working from close distance. The cooler was not working. It was just a fan. The variety of food for breakfast seemed to be good, but at the time we arrived for breakfast, there was no jam, honey, butter, and cheese, and we took the last bread slices. The hot water for tea was not hot enough. We didn't know that we have to pay for parking until we checked out and the lady gave us a discount because of the TV issue.

It was a decent-sized room with a pretty worn King-size Bed. Bedding was missing for the sofa bed. A first floor room which I would recommend against due to high potential of foot traffic noise - not so much from guests checking in & out, but from other guests' kids making too much noise in the lobby area. Something to expect considering some guests may be visiting from another time zone and may simply be used to their time zone still, e.g. central U.S., east coast or overseas. Otherwise, staff was courteous and friendly. Yes, we would stay here again.

Overall, this hotel was clean and well-maintained. The staff was friendly and helpful. We booked this hotel to visit Joshua Tree and it was conveniently located near the park, as well a grocery store and several dining options.
