Breakfast area very cold, is in front reception but should be warmed up since people come to breakfast in PJ’s. Breakfast was good. Pool area was toxic levels of chlorine. Couldn’t enjoy pool because eyes couldn’t survive chlorine burn just from sitting in chair. The beds are WELL worn in. Sink in in the middle, just old I guess. Springs in back. Room heater/air doesn’t allow for continuous fan, so hotel is too quiet. Should allow for continuous fan. Other than that, very happy.

The room was very clean! It was more than spacious enough for our family of four. The shower room was separate from the powder room allowing for privacy and convenience.

Liked our room (301) studio suite with 2 queen beds and sitting area. Huge TV that swivelled to bed area or sitting area.Had a fridge and microwave and coffee bar. Separate water closet with toilet and sink. Main bath had a huge shower and large vanity. Beds were very comfortable! Breakfast area was large with lots of seating and good variety of breakfast choices. Lobby was very nice. Building still smelled new and is in great condition. Did not like having people above as heard a lot of stomping. Could hear traffic noise from the highway even though we were at the back of the building.

I don’t know what people saw in this hotel and the pictures are NOT accurate. It should not have this high of a rating. It was a dump. Maybe in a small town in North Dakota, this is a wonderful hotel. But it DOES NOT look ANYTHING like the photographs. I stay in a lot of hotels throughout the years and the ratings and the pictures are pretty much on point, but this hotel………NO!!!!!!!!

My daughter and I were in Grand Forks for a little weekend getaway and were looking for a nice, but budget friendly place to stay for a night. The SpringHill Suites did not disappoint. The hotel lobby was immaculate and we were greeted and quickly assisted by the person at the front desk who even took the time to ask if I had a preference in floor. Our room was spacious, modern, and very clean. Although it was just the two of us, the room would have easily accommodated my husband and other 2 children as well. Although we didn't take advantage of the fitness center or pool, both looked just as welcoming as the other common areas of the hotel. Parking was ample and a spot easily found even after returning to the hotel late in the evening. The next morning we went down to the lobby for breakfast, which is served during a 3 hour block, and were met with a tidy, well stocked breakfast area and plenty of seating. The number of options were comparable to other hotels I've stayed at were breakfast was included, but the quality was better than what I've often experienced. The only criticism I have is that the employee that was managing the breakfast area was very obviously having a bad day as I overheard and was on the receiving end of some commentary that felt very unnecessary. Checkout was as smooth and friendly as checkin. Overall an excellent experience and we will definitely be making reservations here in the future.

Great hotel, comfortable beds and pillows. Smart layout in 2 queen room with trundle bed! Breakfast could have more selection and be extended to 9:30 or 10am.Close to shopping, Target, Walmart, restaurants. Lovely stay!

Hotel was new, clean and lots of space in each room. Love the set up. I recommend this hotel to anyone. I look forward to staying in one again.
