The room was nice, with issues that need to be addressed for maintenance. There was a terrible smell of cat urine throughout the common hallways. Prior to end of breakfast, the items were well diminished prior to 930 with rudeness to prepare any extra. Kids in the pool were unattended for the age that should be. Maintenance be held at a higher level than what it is. Cleanliness was a 4 out of 5.

I am a handicapped person and when we checked in. No elevator and we are on the second floor! It had stated handicap accessible! Way down at the bottom of their page stated steps. The hide a bed in the couch mattress was horrible so my son had to sleep in the floor A great place for workers to stay People were kind and friendly. Place not so much.

Because of an unexpected blizzard, we ended up staying an additional night. The staff was very friendly & helpful in fulfilling our requests. Hot breakfast was great.

The staff was super friendly and helpful. The hotel was in need of some updating especially the pool area. The room was clean and bed was comfortable. We were on the first floor and there was a chime that went off every time someone moved in the front lobby. Very annoying. Otherwise great stay for the price.

The Quality Inn Hotel overall was an affordable stay. It could use some renovations and updates, but our room was clean and everything was functional. What was not so good, it was very noisy at night. You could hear people walking on the top floor. And then somebody vacuuming the hallways at 2am!?!

Dirty. Smelled like someone had lived and died in the room. We tolerated because we were too tired to fight it. Beds seemed clean. Bathroom floor hadn’t been cleaned, tub hadn’t been cleaned, shower head was gross … place is just getting very rundown. Plug ins in the walls made me nervous to even use. The shower water was hot.

The staff were very nice, and we were there very thankful for that. The facilities were not very clean, and when I mentioned that there was something splattered on my wall, the manager offered for me to clean it up myself or just ignore it. I don’t think she meant it rudely but at other hotels, I would think that they would want to come and clean it themselves. Everything was very friendly but the facilities could definitely use an update. Unfortunately I do not think we will be staying there again. They offered to give us a discounted rate because we had booked through Expedia that wasn’t possible.

Room was not ready even though it was also 5 pm when we checked in... still found sugar packets on the floor in the room. Heating unit sounds like it is leaking gas. Toilet seat is broken. Bathroom door knob is broken. Sounded like the person walking around above me was going to come theough the floor it was creaking so bad. Only positives were the front desk gal was so nice and the free breakfast was good and hot.

Mattress wasn't very comfortable, decor is dated. Hot tub didn't work well and water was too hot in the hot tub. Heating unit didn't work well either (room 135).

It’s ok. Certainly solid for the price. No frills, no gimmicks, decent low-cost hotel. Rooms are fine. As a place to sleep, it’s a great choice.

Front desk staff unfriendly, bed was horrible, very old, divet in mattress, stained and burned, hot tub was just a hot bath, jets didn’t work.

blow dryer, rusty and no way working. chairs at table broken and table about to break. rust all around door frame of bathroom...dirt! And around carpet up from wall a few inches---gross dust and dirt. very dirty, did not feel clean at all!

There was only 1 employee working the front desk and managing the breakfast area so everything was empty. She was busy at the desk. She was trying her best but this was unfair to both the worker and the people waiting in the breakfast area. Seeing her poor the eggs out of a big plastic bag was very unappetizing. Rooms need updating although they were clean. Bed had 2 body intents in the mattress. Walls are very thin and could hear everything so made it difficult to sleep. I will probably look for a different place to stay next visit to Grand Forks.

The hot tub did not work very well. But everything else was not too bad. The continental breakfast we very good and well stocked.

There was no housekeeping during our stay. We had to request new linens and toiletries. The only bright spot was the front desk person working Thursday evening when we checked into the hotel, and that same staff member was working the Friday evening and helped us with linens and toiletries and was friendly. Also, the hottub/spa was not working at all.

I did not even get the chance to stay here and still have not received a refund. When we tried to check in there was someone already in our room and there were no other rooms available. We had to go pay for another room across town and because it was a prepaid room they will not refund our stay but we never stayed. This has been a terrible experience. I cannot get a manager to actually talk to me he just talks in the background to whoever is working the counter and will not actually talk to me directly.

First arrived at 8pm but another patron was trying to decide if they were staying, which took too long or so I left to my evening agenda. Arrived at 12am and the previous shift hadn’t inputed which rooms were clean or not so the gal had to check a couple to find me a clean one. Then turned on heat in room 134 and dust in heater cooked and set off smoke detector.

The eggs were not good, reconstituted powder, breakfast area wasn't really clean, pool looked like oil floating on the surface, some staff were not great. Overall it was an average stay, not great but not bad. I would go back for a good price.
