Excellent location - walk to restaurants in DT and to the beach (Wharf and Boardwalk). Helpful staff when present - they leave for the day at 4:30 and when we left at 8am the reception person was not there yet so the reception desk hours are very limited but very nice when they are there. Parking was not good - they have reserved parking spots in a lot on the corner of the block the inn is on but the spots are compact spots, so when gusts have mini vans and trucks, not all the spots are usable and there is no other available free parking. Room and overall facility was clean. Very few amenities but the ones they offered were nice - streaming services, portable AC unit, coffee machine and ice machine. There is a shared fridge and microwave for the whole inn. It’s just 9 rooms so it doesn’t get too loud with activity. There were a couple gas fire pits on the shared patio but we did not try using them so I am not sure if they worked. The courtyard seating was not set up but the balcony seating for each room was. Given Santa Cruz is just a pricey place in general, the cleanliness of the inn itself, and the location of the inn, the price seemed reasonable.

Excellent experience! The room was clean, had the amenities needed and Calvin was very helpful with the check in process.
I will stay again when in town.
