We stayed in one of the king cottages. Was comfy, clean and close to everything. We loved the patio and could hear the ocean. The grounds were very pretty too. We would stay again, especially for the great price.

We had an amazing stay at Bid-A-Wee. We loved how it was away from all the craziness of Canary Row and super close (down the street) from so many look outs near the ocean. Definitely will be our go to in Monterey.

The room (2 bedroom), was spacious, clean and comfortable. My only feedback is that the bed was really soft -that said I was still able to get a very good night's sleep! Our dog was happy too! The outdoor space is amazing!

Room has ants and the people upstairs was very loud. There is also an empty room next to us I think it is the door to the office. They were also very loud and slamming doors. Over all not a quiet place to relax.

We stayed in room #120 located at the end of the property right next to the grassy, beautiful, gated dog park. It was such a lovely stay. Only 3.5 hours away from our home, we can’t wait to go back. A block away from Asilomar Beach in Pacific Grove, you can hear the waves crashing at night. It was so pleasant & peaceful to go to sleep to. The room was clean, bed comfy, shower head pressure great. Large mini fridge, coffee maker with coffee packs & 2 ceramic coffee cups, ice bucket w/bag, microwave & toaster. Tv has all the channels you need. Luggage rack, hangers, extra blanket, iron & full size iron board in closet. A table for 2 w/chairs. Nightstands on each side of King bed & dresser. Room #120 is considered a “standard King” but you get everything you absolutely need! You share the wall w/the other guests in the cottage & there was another couple staying there at the time, but we didn’t hear any noise at all. It was very quiet at all times! Ice machine located next to the vending in the middle of the property, which also holds the fire pit w/seating. Tons of seating around property, benches & everything you need. Again, I can’t wait to go back. We had such a lovely weekend, we wanted to stay longer. All employees that we interacted with were so nice & friendly. Desk agent suggested local places to visit when I inquired. 10/10 ⭐️. Thank you so much Bide-A-Wee Inn, we can’t wait to see you again! Next time it will be for a much longer visit!! Cheers!

I had a room with king bed, a separate bathroom, and a living room with a kitchenette area. It was very well equipped (stove, coffee machine, microwave, fridge, utensils). Great for a long stay. Close to Asilomar conference center. Great views. Quiet.

Pacific Grove lodging tends to have very poor shower pressure and volume, so we were pleasantly surprised to have an effective shower here at the charming Bide-a-Wee. The room layout is quirky and sounds carry between rooms, but I would still recommend this place.

Attention to cleaning dishes and utensils would be good. Adding an interior entry mat to capture dirt so not tracked over entire floor. Replace burnt out bulbs. Nice quiet location. Close to ocean for walking. Beds are extremely soft.

There were a lot of pluses for our stay. We were just staying one night so we got a studio. It was very clean; the bed was comfortable; and although dated, was in great condition. Unfortunately, we were above the laundry room. The dryer ran into the night and started up again a little after 8 AM. We heard every single word from the room next to us. So it was all about the noise for us. After reading some of the other reviews, our thought about returning in the future and booking a cottage instead might need to be reconsidered. On the other hand, if you don't mind noisy rooms and are a heavy sleeper, this place is terrific; just not for us.

This place was a real find. We were traveling with another Couple. This hotel has some 2 bedrooms with a common sitting area and a kitchenette. Perfectly situated for easy beach access and is halfway between Carmel By the Sea and Monterey.

The room was very small, with a full size uncomfortable bed, small TV, the fridge wasn’t plugged in, and when we did, everything froze. There were 2 source of light, the dim ceiling light, and the bathroom. Thank goodness there was a window. We left it open the entire 2 days we were there to let the strange fishy smell that permeated throughout. This room shouldn’t be rented

Property was super cute, everything was clean, and quiet (although the walls were thin and if you got a noisy neighbor it would definitely be a problem). Bed wasn’t very comfortable, could stand to be updated. Other than that it was great.

We love it because it is a block from the beach and our puppy is very welcome. The beds are comfortable and the two room suite allows rest and work. My only issue is the couch. NOT good on the back.

Nice location; friendly staff; little old property. We work up in the middle of the night with scratching sound coming from the walls! Very strange indeed. Called the office only to find out there are some wild animals in this area (may be possums or raccoons or squirrels) and they just randomly show up behind these cottages and scratch the walls - there's nothing much they can do to help! Somehow managed to sleep and requested for a later checkout, which the hotel accommodated. Great location otherwise - few min walk to a nice, less crowded beach.

It is a beautiful location, close to the beach.We have stayed here several times in the past, but this time I must say, it is TIME for a mattress and sofa upgrade!! The continental breakfast has a nice selection.

The window in the main room has no screen . Otherwise everything was great . We enjoyed our stay and will definitely stay again . We have been trying to book your location for over a year , but you we totally booked on the days that we needed to be there . Hopefully you will have rooms when we need to be in your area . We enjoyed how close to was to the shoreline. Also an easy little walk we were able to take our senior pup out to. Easy and convenient location and friendly staff. Would recommend!

Loved that it is close to oceanfront. You could hear the ocean from your room. Front desk could be friendlier and explain items that are complimentary and give suggestions on dinner locations and what to see in the surrounding area.
