The room smelled of air fresheners, like some taxi or Uber car. Had to open the door and window to air it out. The room was the smallest room we have ever stayed in. With the king bed, only one of us could walkbetween the foot of the bed and the wall. The bathroom was of a standard that we've never experienced before. This is one of the 'live and learn' experiences. The view is nice but one has to be outside and beyond the bldg to enjoy it.

A great little motel. Excellent location. Can walk to nearly everything you’ll want to see. They welcomed my pup with a sweet little gift bag and a cinnamon roll from Frankie and Lola’s for me.

The room needs updating however the room was very clean . Staff friendly Wifi and phone signal spotty in room (t-mobile). Location was prefect. 10 min or less from everything.

This our go to place. The location couldn't be better. We we're able to look out the window and see Morro Rock and the Bay. It's pet friendly which is as added plus. There's complimentary cinnamon roles every morning from the cafe next door. They're amazing.

The location was great if you want to be near the Embarcadero and waterfront. The bed was quite comfortable. The room could use more attention to detail. The ceiling fan had thick fuzz on all the blades. There was some mold in the tiled shower. Check in was pretty bad. Nobody there at 3 with a sign that said, "We'll be back at 7:30PM" Huh??? I called the 3 numbers I had for the motel with no answer and "voicemail is full" messages for all 3 lines. We continued ringing the doorbell on the office, and finally someone came downstairs and checked us in with an excuse of, "somebody was supposed to have called you about the late check in time" This is a business. A motel! If check in is 3PM, somebody needs to be there. That is what the customer is paying for- access to their room by check in time. No apologies for the wait either. We did get a breakfast coupon for free cinnamon rolls from Frankie & Lola's located in front of the motel. Those were delicious.

Up to see a show at The Siren- lovely place to stay. Bed type was not my preference, on the firm side. All guests were quiet and mindful of close quarters. Clean, very nice gentleman at check in, I was the only person without a dog ( I am pleased to report there was nothing in my room that smelled of animals✔️), the views were wonderful- the cinnamon roll in the morning was fantastic! I will return again

When we first checked in, we had to have the front desk come to our room to get the TV working. After using the toilet, water came out from underneath the toilet and soaked bathroom floor. Front desk moved us to a different room. Shower pressure was very bad. Also, didn’t sleep well as the room next to us had dogs that barked constantly. Location is great and felt safe…otherwise, not again

Chose this property for a 1-night stopover due to its location in Morro Bay, for which I'd give it a decent rating, but that's where it ends. Room was small but tolerable, but it was run-down and dirty with (human?) hair all over the floor. The toilet cistern was faulty and running all the time, the bowl was badly stained, several insects were present and when flushed, the water was brown. We refused to stay in the room and no longer had an appetite for the property. The desk clerk was reasonable and apologetic. Despite several contact attempts to discuss a refund, the owner has refused the courtesy of a reply.

Great place to stay directly on the Embarcadero. Sea otters are across the street at the T pier. If you have a pet and let them know ahead of time you get a doggy gift bag. With a toy and a few treats and stuff plus water and food bowls in the room. We will definitely be back.

The Bayfront Inn is definitely a dated motel yet it is exceptionally clean, has a lovely courtyard area to relax in directly across from Morro Bay, Don (the owner?) was extremely friendly and helpful, and you get a coupon for free, delicious cinnamon rolls from next door.

Great location. Very nostalgic. Very welcoming, fun, outdoor spaces to sit and enjoy the view of the bay and the rock. The coupons for the cinnamon rolls next-door are an added benefit that all can enjoy. The hotel overall is just so cute! The room was very clean. the bed was comfortable. And we had a great view.

I was very happy with staff, very pleasant and very helpful!! Our dog Molly loved them too, they gave her a doggie bag with a toy, a blanket and treats!! Nice place to stay!!

This was the second time I have stayed at this hotel, the first time without a pet and this past time with my boxer, Waffles & my boyfriend. I really love this place. Rooms are small but tidy. Bed and pillows are comfortable. The small room perks they offer are great and the location makes this place the best deal in the Morro Bay area. Being able to walk out of my door and directly onto the main pathway to the Rock or the countless food places cant be beat. The town gets sleepy at night, perfect for walking to dinner then hitting up the local dive bars after, then being able to walk back to your room and feel very safe the entire time. the town and the hotel are gems and I will always be back!

Normally in Morro Bay, it’s cold, but it was super hot. The room doesn’t have an AC only a ceiling fan and a fan to put in the window. Other than that it was very clean.

This property is walkable to the beach, shopping, restaurants and of course the Rock. Pet friendly for cats. Older property but very quaint with lovely sitting spots and beautiful plants all around. Really enjoyed my stay and definitely will stay again. Oh, and the cinnamon rolls didn’t hurt for sure.
