I absolutely loved this hotel. Too bad we stopped in only for one night. The staff was excellent; they were very service-oriented. The rooms were nicely appointed. The food and options were quite good. Loved the art, the lounge and the jazz concert... The location is quite nice - a bit far from the airport but on the water and close to other things you may want to see! We will definitely be back here.

There was a plug socket that didn’t work. I had to put a towel down on the ironing board before I could use it, because it was badly stained.

Beautiful property walking distance to most of the must sees in Oslo. We had a deluxe double with balcony. The balcony was small and sadly we had a view of a construction site. Maybe ask for odd number room higher up to avoid this. Turn down service was chocolate and sparkling water which was much appreciated. Breakfast was an amazing spread…. With no shortage of staff. Roof top bar not open but we did go to ground floor bar. Cozy and friendly service if just a bit slow ( 20 min to get 2 drinks) check in and check out was quick and easy. With our booking we got spa entrance for 2… which included rain shower, pool, sauna and steam room. Could not get spa treatment as all booked. If you want to use the facilities including gym you have to pay. Beds were big and super comfy. overall pleasant stay.

I liked the location because the area was easily walkable along the Oslo harbor, the breakfast was good, dinner very good. I was taken aback that no staff is available like a bellman to help guests with their luggage.

This was an pleasant hotel . The food was very well made and varied.Would have liked plain water in evenings rather than sparkling water. Also would have preferred the spa to be open longer and you not have to book. Staff were friendly and location good.

The Spa was very nice but it closes earlier than many others, limited hours.
The property location is so strategic and quiet. I loved it. The overall modern designs inside and the quality built out were really enjoyable.

This was a premium experience from start to finish. Sharing an elevator to the spa the day he played at the Spektrum was icing on the cake!

We spent a week at The Thief and thoroughly enjoyed our time— incredibly friendly front desk staff, beautiful and clean rooms, and a very convenient and safe/quiet location. We will be back.

The Thief is a great, contemporary & luxurious hotel just outside of the teeming new Akers Brygge waterfront area. We had a wonderful stay here, great amenities, wonderful staff, top notch all around. Can’t wait to come back!

Nice Hotel. But It has nothing to with International five star Hotel standard. Not at all. They dont greet you properl, don’t take care of luggage, no hotel bar (closed) just a sad rooftop bar with cheap furnitures. Turn down service below par. It’s an ok 3,5 star hotel (with expensive art and dated design) by international standard.

A superb hotel in a lovely trendy area. Staff are professional, polite and friendly and all facilities are great. Modern clean rooms with a host of features, done really well. Had a spa session and it’s a wonderful way to relax after a busy day - a private place with sauna, steam room, Turkish bath and swimming pool. Gym, although on the small side, was fine with a decent selection of dumbbells, Olympic squat rack and a selection of technogym equipment in addition to treadmills and ellipticals. Roof top bar is pleasant in the evening but the breakfast was the highlight - live cooking station serving the hot food selection to you all with pleasant smiles and chat - really great. Good selection of other breakfast essentials and some pretty nice sweets and bakery treats. Highly recommended.

It was fabulous. Best service I’ve had in any Nordic country, the hotel is extremely luxurious right down to the last detail. I was so happy with my stay I barely left the hotel. I had a half day spa treatment and used the gym each day.
