I can’t stop thinking about this amazing property. The breakfast was fresh, delicious and thoughtfully prepared. I think about Olea often because of the serene environment and the kind staff. Looking forward a return visit.

Nice rooms but we could hear the people next door talking. Nice amenities. But, the “gourmet breakfast” offers no choices. You get what they are making that day, which when we were there was a weird bowl of quinoia, squash, Brussels sprouts…. Not b’fast food in my mind.

Very nice and relaxing place to disengage from daily worries. Excellent facilities, attentive staff, hot gourmet two-course breakfast, beverages, wine, and snacks available throughout the day. 2 min drive to Glen Ellen restaurants and easy access to numerous wineries. Expensive, but worth it, in my opinion.

In our room, 15, the barn-style bathroom door did not close all the way...like, by design. We found that extremely odd. Also, no biggie, but the one of the bureau draws was broken and didn't open all the way.

Quiet, small property with great outdoor spaces for relaxing. Although it is very close to town, expect to drive because the road does not have any shoulder to walk on.

This place was a perfect find. It’s quiet, the room was incredibly comfortable (bed, sheets and robes were soooo comfortable). Breakfast was delicious, service was incredible. Staff was friendly, attentive and so helpful. They helped us with shipping a case of wine home, taking away a major concern of ours. Pool and hot tub were great.

We arrived late night to our garden cottage, lights were on, heat at a cozy temperature. Cottage was clean and spacious. All the staff was very nice and friendly. Food was delicious. Great Experience, will return!

Best hotel ever with a relaxing vibe. The staff is always wonderful and helpful. They serve free breakfast and it's amazing. They also introduce us to new vineyards nearby that are equally amazing. Sleeping away from home is always a gamble. However the bed and bedding are very comfortable and we had no trouble sleeping at night.

We had an Amazing stay at this beautifully decorated boutique hotel. The room was clean and cozy and the bed was comfortable but a little small for my husband who is 6’5” I wish they had King beds available. Other then that our stay was fantastic . The breakfast was a two course meal that was fantastic. We stayed for 3 nights and had 3 different breakfast that were all so delicious. Thank you for a wonderful time .

Lovely little jewel. Beautiful outdoor “eddy out” spots. The breakfasts were out of this world: healthy, not too big, beautifully sourced and presented. Great room snacks (and I don’t even eat room snacks!). Go!…and eat at the Glen Ellen Star just down the road!

We went to Glenn Ellen, Sonoma and Napa Valley to celebrate my wife’s birthday. We stayed at the Olea Hotel overnight. We checked in early and the hotel manager called me when the room was ready. She was so friendly, and made you feel at home, and even accompanied you to your cabin. Upon knowing that it’s my wife’s birthday, she later knocked on our door and brought her some chocolate and birthday card. She recommended to us the vineyards to visit and nice restaurants to dine in. They also included breakfast with two nice courses of special cereals and fresh salads. The room was clean, quiet and comfortable. You can also sit in the patio with a small fireplace or swim in the nice swimming pool or in the jacuzzi. We want to come back again and perhaps make it an annual birthday celebration event.

A solid 9 out of 10, the reduction from full marks being that at this price and quality of property we would expect beds to be made up daily, not sheets etc. changing, but certainly a visit to replace dirty glasses and empty bins. A couple of minor cleaning issues but overall a beautiful hotel and with excellent service, plus simply wonderful breakfasts!!!
