We arrived late at night and Wayne the Security Guard checked us in as the regular staff was gone for the night. He made us feel so welcome. The rest of the staff were all so friendly too. The pools were great. We loved having options! We would stay here again!!!

We picked this resort for the beach, which wasn't what we expected! guess we traveled during the wrong season.

We were there in off season and the staff was very attentive and friendly. The pools and grounds were beautiful. The restaurant/bar was always open even though there weren’t a lot of people, so we always had somewhere to eat. The bar tenders were awesome. We rented a golf cart for our entire stay and drove into town daily. It was 25 minutes, not 45 like I had read in some other reviews. There was a lot of sargassum on the beach but they were cleaning it up daily. We took the kayak out to the blue water in order to swim in the ocean. Very relaxing getaway!

The resort was a wonderful respite from my busy job. The staff work hard to ensure guests enjoy their stay. The complimentary rum punch on arrival was a delicious treat. This location was out of the way and beautiful.

The staff was so friendly and hard working! When we arrived, there was seagrass washed up on the beach (which has been an issue this time of year in several areas). The staff worked tirelessly to clear the beach.
We had just a few meals at the restaurant and the food was very good.
The resort is pretty far north and there is not much near it. Golf cart rental is a must.

Overall our stay was good. It was clean and the staff was super friendly and helpful. There were just little things that I was disappointed about that seemed to add up. No phones in rooms and the the app they use to communicate didn’t work so I had to physically go to whom I needed to communicate with. Our toilet had problems and at one point I was the only one who seemed to be able to fix it. The sea grass kept coming in from the ocean and although the staff worked very hard to clear it, it was never ending. And unfortunately it smelled. The bar was great and the food was fine. We had a nice vacation, it just could have been better.

Love the resort super nice and the staff was amazing. Major kudos to Victor and the security guy Flipalberto sorry if I butchered his name. But the guys were amazing. The resort is however far from the city which made it tiring driving back and forth.
It’s definitely amazing for families.
I wish there were more restaurants on the resort with nearby excursions. And if there were I wasn’t aware of any

If you are looking for a clean and quiet place to stay, this is perfect. The only down side is that it is a 35-40 minute golf cart ride from town on a bumpy and poorly lit road.

This stay was amazing! The property was clean and safe. Any seaweed that washed ashore daily, the maintenance crew cleaned it up before the birds woke so always clean. So much to do at the resort without even leaving to town. We took the kayak and saw an abundance of sea life, manta rays and other rays just swimming along side of us. Allen at the front desk was the best. Above and beyond. Regardless if it’s their job or not they make you feel like family! For a very quiet and personable vacation, I highly recommend. This is not a crazy and loud place. So relaxing to simply reset all of life’s chaos!

This property was extremely well maintained. Beach raked several times a day, good food, awesome bar over water and close to other dining options via golf cart. The staff was friendly and helpful.....definitely would go back. We stayed at 4 properties during our vacation and this was our favorite.

From the very beginning of this trip the staff was incredibly rude. We paid for a shuttle to pick us up from the ferry to the resort ($20 USD a person) the shuttle was scheduled for 1:00pm we arrived at 12:10, met our driver and he began to rush us before we even got our luggage from the ferry. At 12:20 we were still waiting for our luggage and he left us and told us to call the resort to get another ride. We called the resort and the next ride didn’t arrive until 1:15.
It takes about 50 minutes from the ferry in San Pedro to the resort. The shuttle stops at other resorts on the way. X’tan Ha is the last and there is about 20 minutes of rough dirt road to get to the resort.
Upon arrival the property was nice looking but the staff was incredibly rude and unwelcoming. The shuttle is only for pick up and drop off on arrival and departure days. There is nothing around the resort and the only transportation available is a golf cart rental $43 USD for 4 hours or a $50 USD one-way taxi into town.
We had to order room service for lunch it was extremely overpriced it took over 1.5 hours to get to our room and it was cold and not very good. They never came for our dishes. We ordered again for dinner it took

Lovely quiet hotel on a beautiful beach. Rooms are very nice and we appreciated having a kitchen to self-cater some meals. Staff are helpful and super friendly. My only complaint is that the restaurant is very expensive (even by Ambergris Caye averages) and food service was very slow. I otherwise whole-heartedly recommend it for a quiet relaxing vacation. Location is a bit challenging as it is very far from other restaurants, but nice to be on the quiet end of the island.

An excellent stay at X’ TAN HA Resort. We found the property to be great value and, whist not the most modern in terms of decor, it exceeded our expectations. We had a beach front room that was indeed on the beach and looked out over the beautiful clear water of the Caribbean Sea. The room was very well appointed: large separate bedroom with comfy bed, a bathroom with continuous hot water that could be entered from the bedroom or living area and a substantial living room that contained a sofa, dining table for four, a fully equipped kitchen and more…
Great tours/activities could be booked with a designated activities person on the beachfront. In the same
Place you could take our paddle boards and kayaks for free. The hotel also offered free bike rental.
The biggest drawbacks to the property were : the lack of recycling available, the in and out Wi-Fi and the position of the hotel which , while in a great position on the beach, is far north and not near restaurants or any supermarkets. Golf carts can be rented to go into town to eat or pick up shopping.
Overall, our stay was throughly enjoyable and we would be happy to visit again.

A PIECE OF PARADISE
"The mood and set up of the resort reminds a lot about the resorts in Maldives and Malaysia that we visited. The sand is powdery white and the beach is cleaned several times a day from the seaweed that is the nightmare of the beaches in Belize. The staff - so nice and friendly. Two pools, restaurant and the bar on the pier. As it is away from the busy and noisy town of San Pedro, it is not overcrowded and an ideal place to relax. I do hope we will have a chance to visit here again. Highly reccomend. Best regards to David Nal"

Very nice resort, clean and spacious room with beautiful terrace. Kitchen is fully equipped. Stuff was polite and helpful, WiFi was good. The resort is 30-40 min ride by golf cart from San Pedro, so it is very quiet and isolated. The beach is nice, but the seabed is full of grass and not pleasant for swimming. Also, reef is far from the beach and it's not reachable by kayak, so don't expect to snorkel here.

X Tan Ha was an incredible place to stay. Family and kids friendly. Beach front with glorious sunrises facing due east. 2 pools and many games available. The villas looked exactly as advertised. Very clean. The Grounds keepers were meticulous with their landscaping and beach grooming. Friendly office staff. Food and menu was mediocre but there were a couple other restaurants nearby to provide variety. Onsite day tours available were quite organized, knowledgable and fun. 4.5/5

Very clean, comfortable and safe. All of the staff was very sweet and helpful. The restaurant wasn't our favorite but was convenient. Only downside was the distance from town. About a 40 minute golf cart ride. Everything you need is at the resort but for venturing out I would've rather been a little closer to town. Kim with the tour company Tuff Enuff was great. Overall we recommend this property!

The staff made the whole experience amazing. I stayed for two weeks from Christmas to New Year’s and had a wonderful time. The front reception team made sure I got to and from the island with ease. The bar and kitchen staff, Mitch, Brandon, Gusimo were so great and attentive. Kim helped out getting me booked on several adventures that I will remember forever.
The resort was quiet and peaceful even with several families being there.

The property was good size, but we should have been advised that there was a large wedding party on site and they would be blocking out areas - whole bar area, entire beach front, etc. to accommodate the wedding party without having advised the rest of the guest that they would have limited use of the property and we were not a last minute reservation either.
The food was below average, for example the pasta was all clumped together as if it was boiled together without ever string the noodles, low on seasoning and took an hour to get breakfast served. The only saving grace was the outside bar staff, if not for them we would not have had food or drinks on site.
The lawncare team would start running motorized lawn tools right by the rooms at 5:30AM everyday - the dive shop was hardly informed on what they had to offer.
We will not be staying here again and will not recommend it.

The sea grass gets a bit out of control this time of year but they work on it constantly to keep it at bay. Other than that it has been really nice, good food , staff is super nice and helpful.

The service we received was impeccable. The staff was very helpful at all times. This property has a beautiful bar that sitting on a floating deck that has the best view and knowledge bartenders. I will definitely stay at this property again.

We stayed in two areas during our time in Belize - first near San Pedro and second up north at X'Tan Ha. If you want total seclusion and to be left alone, then this is the place for you. Unfortunately, that was not what we were looking for. The customer service was not great from the front desk staff or the restaurant/bar. We will not be back.

It was absolutely wonderful. It is about half an hour (by golf cart) North of San Pedro and 100% worth the drive. It was the nicest hotel we have ever stayed at. We rented the pool view apartment. It was very big, very nice kitchen set up. The property itself Is very peaceful and pretty. The beach is very close. Yes it had seagrass but it is everywhere down the coast in April and they had it all cleaned up within days. The restaurant staff are incredible and the food was amazing. Tuff E Nuff excursions runs off the dock and was a great company to tour with.
