Our room was excellent (Room 5) with sufficient space for 2 armchairs. Meals excellent. Staff friendly. We have shall visit again.

The staff might just be the friendliest in Great Britain. It made the stay a delight and we used the great conservatory space to watch a Christmas movie with our little one. Great food and great beer/wine. You need a car to access all the local things (Runswick Bay/Whitby/Scarborough/Moors) but we will come back each year as we love it.

Exceptional staff in every area that we interacted with them.
Excellent food.
Superb breakfast & a very appealing, varied menu for other times of the day (lunch & dinner).
Comfortable, functional room with pleasantly powerful shower.
Wouldn’t hesitate in returning to Ellerby Country Hotel.
