Friendly welcome. Nothing necessarily negative, but a bit outdated. Our window was broken, but the view was amazing. Great central location.

Decent, bare bones, inexpensive hotel in a great central location of San Francisco. Old building, but well maintained. You can hear the noise of traffic outside, so if you're a light sleeper, bring earplugs.
Staff was friendly and helpful.
The room had a basic TV, fridge and microwave. I wish they had an iron in the room.
Not a 5 star hotel, but you can't beat the price for the location. I would stay here again

I’ve stayed here a couple times before, and I really liked this location. It’s in a nice convenient location nearby Lower Haight. It’s by good reliable public transport, walking distance from the muni trains. Very nice neighborhood, clean, no trash anywhere. It’s set up like a Euro hotel, but with options of private in room bathrooms. It’s affordable compared to most of SF. I always recommend this place to all of my friends now that none of us live around the Bay Area anymore. The staff was friendly, the room was nice and clean.
