Perfect location on the Kaweah River, rapids surging right below the restaurant/deck. Small, independent run hotel from a bygone era...a little long in the tooth but a very pleasant stay. Great staff, great bar, restaurant really does well and the food is excellent. Prices for rooms and the restaurant are pretty high, but understandably given the limited season.
Would I ever stay there again? YES...I really enjoyed the place, the food, and the staff.

It was the best room out of the that were planned on our road trip! If you stay, you have to go next door to the restaurant. The staff is amazing! The crab cakes and baby back pork ribs were delicious!

Cons: The property needs repair. Screens were ripped on the windows and the door frame where the deadbolt goes in was broken. There was a sock on the floor when we arrived. There were light switches that didn’t function.
Pros: great location, amazing back deck, comfortable cozy rooms, well stocked kitchen, responsive and friendly staff.
Overall we enjoyed the room and were comfortable but it is definitely run down.
