Good hotel for this price. Great location in Patong- easily walkable to the beach, shops, mall, Bangla Road etc. Hotel is clean and rooms sizeable. Mostly quiet, although some noises in the corridor late at night when people return from the bars (sometimes with 'visitors'). A/C in rooms is good and effective. Overall good. On-site restaurant is decent and food is of a good quality (although you'll find a wealth of cheaper and more varied options walkable from the hotel). Staff are friendly and helpful. Standard of English is mostly good. I did have trouble arranging transport from the airport on arrival but this is not a problem- you can easily get a taxi from outside the airport when you arrive (fare should be 800 THB as of March 2024). Arranging a taxi back to the airport at the end of my stay was easy with reception (fare was 900 THB). The pool area is large and secluded. However, it is ageing and needs some care and attention. Lots of chipped tiles and the water was murky and not as clean as I would have liked. There is a small problem with pigeons, who sit on the surrounding balconies and sometimes defecate into the pool below. This did not prevent the majority of people swimming and certainly is no more dirty than most seas and rivers, but if you are sensitive to this sort of thing this is something to bear in mind. Overall this is a good hotel for the price and I was satisfied with my stay here.

Rooms were clean...staff was good..pool and restaurant was good..massage inside....easy to find hotel from airport...15 min walk to beach..food markets..mall..etc....beds were hard like box mattress..brown sink water...water shower and tub temp inconsistent..staff has hard time understanding english...

First of all it is NO WAY A FOUR STAR. I would put it 2.5 Star hotel. Reasons: 1. Bed were pathetically hard. Bedding were thin and poor quality 2. Amenities were mediocre - No coffee maker - No iron, - No microwave - Low quality soap and shampoo 3. Extremely hard and uncomfortable beds to sleep. Got back issues after spending 4 nights. 4. Hotel is noisy and rooms doesn't go dark with so many lights from AC units Service: WORST among all. We reached there at 12 PM. We were told that you will get room only at 2 PM even though they were ready. They made 9 guest waiting till 2 pm to give rooms. Not enough place to sit in lobby. At 2 pm all 9 were now in queue to get rooms which took full 30 min more for us to get keys. Hotel will not consider it late. Deposit was asked in CASH. You have carry your receipt to take refund back. This is only one hotel where I saw this. This is scam. If rooms are not given without cash deposit then why you need to carry receipt till last day to get cash refund.

The hotel staff barely speak English. Considering the lack of both communication skill and hospitality spirit, Bauman Residence is one of the worst choice on Patong beach. I could have list all the uncomfortable experiences, but it would probably be waste of time as both the hotel staff and managers didn't care about the customers at all. I would rather choose backpacker's hostel instead of this place...

Amazing hotel, friendly and helpful staff (special thanks to Tong for his help and fun friendly nature) We had an amazing time at this hotel, beautiful pool, wifi was a little slow, but overall we were very glad we had chosen to stay here.

The hotel is just about 20 mins walk to Jungceylon. The location is great. The pool and gym are nice. Rooms are reasonable in size and clean. However, the toilet need some cleaning especially the shower cubicle and it’s great if the hotel could install a rack for guest to put their body shower and shampoo in the shower area.

The receptionist is very rude. They asked for pay extra for 1 person and I for 2 person. And I pay for extra per without bed due I pay only for extra persons not for the bed. Is very disappointed ☹️. This my second time visit of this hotel I’m first visit was nice and everything is good. But my second time visit is not good. Bad service receptionist.

There are renovations going on outside & tarp in front of hotel not appealing at entrance. The room is clean but outdated, no iron provided & air conditioner works but old. The bed is hard, hallway is very dark & restaurant is okay. The swimming pool is nice & large like a lazy river.

clean room, nice service, small but fine pool. i hoped there would be a bath tub but turned out it was only a small shower. from the walking street to hotel is not very far, if by tuktuk it was 200 baht (every driver knows the location), but if by foot, at night, you have to pass by a really dark small pathway, which was quite scary. wifi was unstable and troublesome for me. overall speaking, it was a good experience.

Clean, comfortable with all amenities one can expect in a 4 star hotel. Very good service: upon check in I found out I had a broken door electronic signal. The staff fixed it right away. Very tasty and affordable breakfast. Safe area, close to the beach (10-15 minute walk). Good WiFi. Highly recommend!

I did not like the driver from and to the airport. First driver could not speak english, not friendly. Second driver driving very reckless and could not speak english. But i LOVE the hotel. Just what i needed. Big room. Enough amenities. A/C good. Swimming pool very nice. Breakfast buffet also good. Receptionist, waitress, bellman and concierge all super friendly.

The hotel put up pictures of a tub for deluxe room. It was too cool to use spa jets outside. Bed was hard. Sewer problem in bathroom.

Decent stay, not too far from Patong beach (around 15mins walk) and you still get the quiet surroundings. Halal options are available in the breakfast buffet. Options to arrange for taxi to the airport and for sightseeing are also available (though we didn't take any for sighseeing). Motorbikes are also available for rental in the parking space of the hotel (but the lady asked for the original passport as deposit, so we didn't rent one).
