The staff were all exceedingly friendly and helpful, the grounds were lovely and well-maintained, the pond was nicely stocked with large trout that kids and adults loved fishing for, the room was large and comfortable and well-stocked, but the best feature of all is the location with waterfalls visible from the room and restaurant and the peaceful, quiet atmosphere. The most beautiful views and hikes are steps from your room, and gorgeous natural lakes also filled with fish. Double Eagle is the perfect place to commune with nature but still have comfort and amenities.

Privately operated hotel and an excellent alternative to the national hotel chains. Good size chalet room with a large bathroom, amenities and a balcony over looking the fishing lake, great for ventilation. Helpful staff with special mention to Michael for a warm welcome and service in the adjacent Eagle Nest Saloon. A hidden gem a short drive from June Lake, with a large indoor swimming pool, jacuzzi and gym.
