My stay so far has been peaceful and nice. My room is spacious and has all that I need during my stay. There are convenient stores within walking distance. Places to eat near by on main street. The staff was kind and respectful. I appreciate the service.

For one night in transit at this price absolutely ok. Many small details show that the interior should be refurbished soon.The height of the office chair at the table can no longer be adjusted. I took a cushion to sit reasonably comfortably to be able to work my computer. The tap in the bathroom is so calcified (due to age) that nothing can be adjusted. Water simply comes out of the ceiling shower. Insgesamt sauber. Ein Kissenbezug und der Teppich hatte Flecken, welche durch bessere Reinigung entfernt werden könnten. Ich habe gut geschlafen.

The room has an odor smell and the window cannot be opened. The air conditioner has a sour smell also. I woke up many times during the night due to the heat, smell, and noise from upstairs. Barstow city has been gone down so fast in the past two years, the area is not safe to live overnight.

It was a really nice inn however it is near gambling and it's right next to the freeway. It is a pet friendly hotel unfortunately for us the person staying next to us had a dog that kept barking until their return which was 11:30 so keep that in mind if your just passing through.

I can’t say that the room was filthy but it was certainly not clean. I’m not sure if the bed sheets were washed as there were stray hairs on them and holes in them. The pillows and mattress are probably decades old. The bathroom tub had a lot of stains and dark spots so I didn’t shower. I found and killed a silverfish on the wall. The front desk people were nice. Overall, this is a cheap place to stay so you get what you pay for.

Although this was a cheap place to stay, it was very unkept. It could def use a remodel and someone to pickup broken machinery and keep them out of the walkways. We were happy to have found a place to stay within our budget but we were ready to go a first light due to the surroundings and conditions.

It was alright. The heater didn't work at all so it was extremely cold inside the room and they could have given a discount due to the issue.

Front desk clerk was very friendly and process was very smooth . Only thing I would say is there needs to be carpet cleaning and TV box needs to be fixed as no channels were coming in.

My husband and I pulled up to the Star Dust which looked like a dump from the outside and there were sketchy people outside smoking, so we ended up staying somewhere else. I called for a refund but the front office person barely spoke English, so Expedia helped me in contacting the hotel for a refund. Don’t waste your money. They’re plenty of other local hotels to stay at in much better condition for almost the same price.

We stayed overnight on our trip to LA. The check-in and service was fine. The room was clean, no frills, and comfortable. The area around the hotel is run down, but so is much of Barstow unfortunately. The parking lot was clean and well lighted at nigh. The hotel area was quiet at night. The room had a coffeemaker, a fridge, and a microwave.

I know it is a budget hotel but it needs a lot of fixing and cleaning up. It is out of the way and some shading looking people hanging around. The front hotel sign is broke and not lit up.

I am so beyond disappointed and disgusted with this property the rooms and the prices and everything else to come with it I don't suggest this to anyone you'd be better off sleeping in the dumpster on a corner

The beds are too hard. I woke up with back pain unlike the other motels I tried the beds was comfier. The bathroom clogged and the mess didn’t go through. The floor wasn’t clean good. The heater has smell every time it’s on. The water stayed cold for a while and I had to take a shower and after like ten minutes the water got warm not hot. Bad experience. I paid 100 as it was Saturday and will never return here. I know I get services of what I pay and that is my budget to go to motels, but other motels were cheaper and better.

I checked in single woman for 1 night on Feb.10th in the day the 2 men at the outside window ( as I’m being Covid safe ) we’re very nice and understanding and gave me a bottom floor ..the room was very clean and they are 24 hrs so I felt very safe the also made sure I was not near someone right next door or pets etc very nice and I’ll be back for 2 nights on way back to Las Vegas Catherine

The room was so dirty. We showed up late at night. The front desk person asked if we wanted to check the room first before we paid. We went in and checked it was fine for the night, the kids went pooty. We found out the toilet doesn’t work.

This property is very dirty. We did not have any other choices because everything was booked in the area. The room looked very dirty when we came in. We slept on top of the beds in our sleeping bags so that we didn't touch the sheets. You can tell that no money has been put into cleaning or updating the hotel. There was no hot water either, however the hotel attendant said you had to run the water for 5 mins to get hot water. We were never able to get hot water.

Locally owned vintage Route 66 place. Friendly front desk clerk. Room not 100% clean (visible parts of the carpets were vacuumed, but a prior guest had dropped pistachios that were still underneath the bedskirt). No frills, teeny tiny soap and very small, thin towels. Good value for the super cheap price.

This was my last stop while driving the Route 66 before the last leg towards LA. Barstow ain’t really the most exciting town in the world but the motel was clean, felt safe and had some decent dining options close by.

The toilet was broken my disabled husband almost fell to the left the toilet was not secure. Second room didn't have a trash can or a refrigerator or microwave. You get what u pay for. Yuck
